Then what's so emotional about TV-Nihon's sub ? Theirs are more flashy, and sometime leave something that needs to be translated untranslated.

Personally I prefer Overtime to TVNihon, Nihon take too many liberties some times for my liking.

The film was meh, I don't pretend to know much about Kamen Rider at all but having watched Gokaiger I can safely say they took the lovable rouge Marvelous and just turned him into an uber douche, even with the resolution it just seemed a bit gash.

If they had put the rider enemies with the sentai and vice versa it might have made more sense and made it slightly more coherent, why would you team up with your enemies who killed you previously?

And as for no more sentai or rider particles, Don Dogolier was standing right over there you dingbat? you know, the one who is Gokai Green? If you are going to ignore him at least point out that you don't consider him a threat.

I probably won't watch the film again. I enjoyed the Super Hero Taihen shorts a lot more than the film itself.

- And by the way, I love Decade. I love DiEnd. Saying that.. there's no way he'd last that long in a fight with Marvelous. There's just no way.

- The Invokation Sentai, Goseigers... The Invokation Sentai?! Look here Sunshine it's Tensou Sentai Goseigers! Stop literally translating everything for christ's sake! TENSOU SENTAI!

- Overtime sucks.

- Watching this version of the dub is like reading bad acting.

- And why does Tsukasa's hair seem to get weirder and higher in every movie he's in O_o

- The translation doesn't match the inflection of what they're saying. It's to damn literal, there's no give. No emotion in the words. I swear it's like reading an episode of MMPR Samurai.

- And the Plot makes no sense so far. Just throwing that out there.

- Was kinda cool seeing Dragon Redder go against Geki Tiger though, I'll say that.

- It's been two posts so: I don't like OverTime.

- And where's Navi? O_o

- How come whenever I hear the DenLiner whistle I smile? It's like a blaring horn call to impending awesome :lol

- Okay.. -sighs, rubbing the bridge of his nose between fingers- The DenLiner scene has just become frustrating. There's no colored text, I can't tell which Imagin is saying what. Know how I'd know? If this was Nihon and not OverTime. Because only one seems to know wtf they're doing! ... Sigh. Congradulations. You sucked all the fun out of the room Overtime. Happy with yourselves?

- Baseball.. Mask... Ah, the 70's. Where everyone was to high to notice his head is a baseball.

- OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG Kiva, Ichigo, W, Kabuto?! It's likea mish-mash clusterfridge of epic! OMG!

- OVERTIME FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! He's Rider Ichigo not Rider! I can hear AkaRanger saying his goddamn name! Who taught you guys how to translate?! Monkeys?! HUFF!

- God. For every awesome moment I think is coming OT does something to piss me right off -_-

- Okay so. This movie makes less sense than every Decade movie combined.

- Oh Gai, I love you so. You can make anything unwatchable instantly awesome. GooooooooKai Silvah!

- OT?! This is you, alright? This is you. (Monotoned) S Magnet. N Magnet. Sigh... N/S Magnet, I guess. That's you.

- Wow. DiEnd is a dick. He's just a straightup dick.

- Hokay how long before we get an SRC Big Machine? I am loving that thing.

- I knew it was coming and still Gokai becoming OOO just to use the Buster annoyed me. They could've done this epic all at once Scanning Final Wave, but nooooooooo..

- Final Thoughts -

DiEnd taking control of Big Machine to somehow teach Decade a lesson was idiotic. He never fought a straight fight in his life, but oh suddenly he drives heapbig machines! I took it has ".. Okay, how the hell do we end this?"
I am never watching an OverTime sub again, ever. There's no emotion. There's less emotion here than in Kevin's acting through Samurai.
All in all I liked it. But I have the feeling I'll like it more when I watched it subbed right, by TV-Nihon.
Sentai i completely agree with you on the Subs i just did not feel movie emotion like i would with TV Nihon subbs and so i waiting for there super suburb subs for the film

Technically TV-Nihon is the more literal translation since they often try to stick as close as possible to the original phrasing and grammatical conventions, even when it doesn't flow quite normally in English. Over-Time's translations are more localized, meaning they try to capture less of the specific wording and more of the specific meaning using English equivalents. Both styles have their merits, but I personally prefer the latter.

"Tensou Sentai" isn't English, that's not how OverTime rolls. See also: Pirate Sentai Gokaiger and Special Ops Cell Go-Buster.

I liked the film, It continued Decade & Co. tradition of being completely unlikable.
I wish I could shake someone at TOEI Though and say "We don't care who Narutaki IS!"

But
Gobuster/Fourze team UP
ANY thing Den-O
Getting to see the Faiz suit in action

These alone are reasons to watch a film!

Sure it's got flaws but its far from terrible. You can sort of see where the writers were coming from, it just didn't carry over too well because of a few little plot points/ shoehorned time travelling trains... But hey, end of the day it's two kids superhero shows meeting, probably best not to over think it.

As for the subs Brotou will always be better than Gotou chan =]

Well that film sure sucked. Yet even at the end I still managed to have a huge smile on my face.

Huge crossovers are cool and all, but its never an excuse for uneven matchups, people acting out of character and still not knowing who or what the hell Narutaki is supposed to be. The inclusion of the Den Liner being at the top of pointless moments the film had.

That being said there were a few things I did like;

- Seeing the Fourze cast again. Even if it was very briefly.
- Meteor getting his ass handed to him. I like Meteor but going back and seeing the cocky Meteor again made me realise how much he grew as a character.
- The Decade/Gokai Red fights were easily the best in the film
- Yoko calling the Shocker grunts dated :lol
- Brajira using his former selves again to fight.
- Go-BusterOh Rocket Drill states

I swear, some of you guys' expectations had to be through the roof if this movie wrecked your day as badly as you made it out to be...

And Sentai, if you're going to complain so much over OT's subs, then you should have clicked the little [X] in the top right corner and waited a couple more weeks for TVN's. It's kind of hard to care about your issues when one of them is almost literally "The words aren't colored."
(Also, he's not Rider Ichigo. He's Rider Ichigou. The "u" at the end is important)

I'll agree with everything except the highlighted. it is NEVER a bad time for the Den-liner to show up!

So back to the movie. Alright. DiEnd is still pissing me off. It's so completely out of character for him to combine Gigant Horse and Fortress, let alone drive the damn thing against Go-Bust-Fourze-Oh. But they needed a way to end the movie and I guess this was easier than actually spending time to think of a good one.

Its not out of character for him to have combined them if he saw it as a treasure (which I'm pretty sure he would). It is however out of character for him to throw a hissy fit just because someone pretended not to be his friend.

I know! Not to mention the man's never had a straight fight in his life. It's not who he is, he's a theif. And he never once called on those Rider cards he has. And I'm not even getting into how it never made sense where every Imagin became their version of Den-O... at the same time.

that was addressed a few movies ago, they're individually wearing a Den-O belt, they're not possessing a host.

What explanation would you need other than the fact that owner gave each of them their own Den-O belts to henshin with? And even before that in the first Den-O film when they become their own individual forms it was because they used 4 Ryutaros from 4 points in time all brought together in the past.

I watched the scene over again and I had absolutely no problem telling who is who, you just got to pay attention, I honestly see the colored text they do as a nice idea, but it ends up being a crutch.

I myself perfer Over-time, because the literal translations of TV-Nihon can get annoying at times, and there are points they don't even translate words entirely. For a person who knows nothing of the japanese language, this can be a real turn off. Over-time, while its not the most 100% perfect translation, it does good to make the dailog make sense in an english sense

and translating the names of sentai names makes sense, why leave certain words untranslated?

I've still only seen the raw and I really enjoyed that. I'll hold out for TVN's sub. And then I'll probably upgrade to the HD version whenever that gets put out.

Or you could go the other route and use the accent. Ichigō.

Although I do believe he is called Kamen Rider 1. "Ichigō" is just how it's read out in Japanese.

Just finished watching. All and all it's an enjoyable movie. The plot was kinda confusing but the fight scenes were great, especially the "Riders and Senshi of the same year" teamups(even if Sosuke's(Go-On Red) actor didn't return to voice the character).

I enjoyed the movie (RAW and OT Subs). It was really awesome! Just a real fun movie. I felt so bad for Joe. Has me wanting more Gokaigers! Im ready for the versus movie now!!

well i just finished seeing it.I liked it. let the boos comence. IMO kaito should have just killed everyone with big machine though xp

yea TV Nihon had a few probs with them or my download at least due to the gobuster weapons sayign trasport and decade henshins where really quiet i post link to how to get it fixed if you had the same issue
