If Otoya was a Fangire, I think his relationship with Yuri would have been even more intense and tragic. It probably would have lead to Yuri's death before she was able to give birth to Megumi -- likely at the hands of a jealous Maya.

Maya would never have heard the beautiful music of humanity, and Wataru would have been raised to be fully Fangire. He would never have developed the heart and soul of a human -- which was a product of his human side and his mother's respect for humanity -- and he would never have had the desire to bridge the gap between human and Fangire. But maybe Otoya -- before being killed by King for taking Queen from him -- would plant a seed in Wataru that humanity is worth saving.

Jiro would have permanently taken the position of IXA, but never learning from Otoya's heroism, he would have been fueled purely by vengeance and killed by Rook very early on.

With Jiro dead, Megumi never having existed to fight the Fangires, and Wataru never having learned human values, humanity would be overrun and led by King and a Maya who was never stripped of her Queen-hood. Wataru would take the position of Knight, and Taiga would be the heir to the Fangire throne. The brothers would still have a similarly close relationship.

Dominated by Fangires, humanity would be bread like livestock and enslaved. This would necessitate Nago becoming IXA in the present, as part of the Wonderful Blue Sky Organization, who would now be positioned as an underground resistance group. IXA would be the hero of the present day, and Wataru his antagonist.

But then Wataru meets Mio -- who, since Maya never lost her queenhood, never became a Fangire. Wataru would grow to love Mio, mirroring Otoya's love for Yuri. Wataru would turn his back on his family and the Fangires due to this love -- which causes him to recall the message Otoya imparted to him before he died: that humanity is worth saving. With the help of IXA, he would kill his family, except for Taiga, who would become King. The two loving brothers would fight each other, and the show would end pretty much as it did in the "real" universe. Wataru would liberate the Humans, redeem Taiga, and end the war between them and the Fangires.

Ok, but if they were both Fangires...what would drive Otoya to say "Maybe humanity is worth saving" If he never got into a close relationship with a human, then why would he say that? If hating humans is all he's ever known, then him saying that would just come out of nowhere.

Then Tendou wouldn't have existed. But if it did at the end of the show, Kagami would honor Tendou's legacy and defeating Mishima and the Native traitors.

Who knows if Yaguruma returned and gave up the Hopper system, he'd use Gatack after.

Well for the Showa era, It would have been nice if Shadowmoon had another form too much like what happened to Black. Technically he is the main antagonist in the Black Series. So instead of him fighting against a different Minami Kotaro in Rx form, he should have been given an upgrade as well as a his own vehicle. Still thinking of a cool name for him though lol;
