So, SHF Kamen Rider Accel arrived in the mail today. His shiny red is gorgeous, and he can do some really cool poses with the engine blade. Maybe I should get Trial and Booster and create a new Super Sentai, the Accelger!

I actually noticed that I really tend to gravitate more towards secondary Rider figuarts. Maybe it because their simpler power sets make it easier to complete them. After all, I only need three figuarts to get all Accel forms including the movie only form, vs. 11 to get all Double forms before you even start with movie forms.

So,hows Car Crash?

Car Crash is neat! he looks surprisingly small in the box, but once I got it out and was playing with it I didn't notice that for very long.

I find the transformation to be really cool, and pretty intuitive. Seems like I've heard people complain he was too complex, but I figured it out without instructions in about 5 minutes.

Solid dude, awesomely poseable, great colors, can't wait for T-Bone to arrive, though it sounds like the consensus on that one is it's not as good as Car Crash.

Trial and Booster are awesome, and you need them. I prefer both of those forms to vanilla Accel. Not sure why, maybe because the shoulder pads aren't so bulky, but they just feel more streamlined and more awesomer.

And the three do look really good together.

Just got my Geki Elephant today!
The toy's box isn't in the best condition (rather beat up but otherwise fine), but the Elephant itself? Perfect.

...Then I proceeded to combine it with my Jungle Pride and Jungle Master Megazords (because I'm fine with having a box I can read and fists that don't glow), my SaiDaiOh (whose ear assembly has been repaired, yay!), Geki Bat, Geki Shark and the Rin Beasts to create this abomination of plastic.

Gai is hard to find because he was the only figuart connected to Genocider that was exclusive. Raia and Ouja were both standards. And Ouja has started climbing in price in Japan as well.

Raia's still inexplicably cheap. I haven't gotten him because I don't really like his design.

Yellow Buster arrived today. I know the Go-busters are generally sub-par for figuarts, but they are so much better than just about any other super hero figures that I can't help but see her as awesome anyway.

Now I just need a Blue Buster (and to hope my burning desire can make them release Beet and Stag Buster figuarts).

I will tell you, once you have him in hand, that will change. I had gotten him to review then was going to slingshot him in the BST section. He is a damn cool figure actually, and the first to not have the ports loose. I of course have a review written somewhere on some site....;)

I agree, Raia isn't my favorite design from the show, but it was fantastically executed, and belonging the Ryuki line automatically makes it a top tier figure.
The only ones I've had really noticeable problems with the ports is Ryuki himself and Knight. It's been a while since I messed with either one, but I'm pretty sure that in both cases it was really only one forearm or the other that would pop out frequently.

If burning desire could make figuarts, Rio and Mele would have been released long ago. But still, I agree. Beet and Stag Busters would be amazing. Especially if Stag comes with Bananas.

Raia is definitely a figure worth owning. And if for nothing else than completing a Genocider display, as cheap as he is, he is WELL worth it.

I see all of you guys talking about the Ryuki rider figures. I really hope I don't end up wanting all of them once I actually get around to watching it. I'm getting the Ryuki rerelease eventually because of Dragredder.

Raia is currently going for 1830 yen on AmiAmi.

For that price, I don't think you can go wrong.

This includes the replacement Daikiaoh for my broken one from mandarake. Did I forget to mention that they sent me the replacement one, FOR FREE?! AND they let me keep the broken one too. This is why I love that place.

Not sure yet. The thing that was broken was the handle for one of his swords. It had been broken and superglued back together by someone at Mandarake before shipping.
