You know what I'd like to see? A Main Rider who isn't a young, Japanese male. I have nothing against young, Japanese males, but I would like to see more diversity.

Either that or a sequel to Kamen Rider W.

A vehicle themed Kamen Rider would be pretty good. His base form could be a racecar (because kids love racecars!). He could have a weaker form like Cycle form, for the motorcycle, and his mid season upgrade could be a jet.

Sorry if this has been brought up, I think the next Rider may be more technology-themed.

Looking at the Heisei riders there seems to be a pattern that exists between more esoteric rider themes and more technology-based riders. Kuuga and Agito are connected so it doesn't really start until Ryuki, who's very knightly and has mystical creatures and elements. Then Faiz is all technology, followed by the also kind-of knightly Blade and Hibiki both being less techy, then Kabuto and Den-O as back-to-back tech riders. Kiva is obviously very the opposite. Decade kinda mucks things but he has a completely different purpose, I wouldn't know which side he fits in. Then things get more clear with W using memories and having greebly detailed technology and OOO with it's more mystical stuff, then space-based Fourze and then Wizard who don't need explanation. Thus I'm putting my money on another more technology, whatever that technology may be, based rider.

OOO : 3 medals
Fourze: 4 switches
Wizard: Though not direct, 5 rings, and a hand which is composed of 5 fingers (I exclude dragon rings since they are more of a power-up.)

So if every year we increase a number, and I know this idea probably would not be close to what they are going to show us in fall, here are my assumptions:

- Number 6
- Since Beast took the dice gimmick, we will go with a six-shooter revolver gimmick
- With the above assumptions in mind, the next Kamen Rider will be a Sukiyaki Western Cowboy Rider
- The enemies will be outlaw monsters, and the Rider will hunt them down for bounty to achieve whatever "I have a sad past" reason

Pro tip? The first new Rider rumor is always wrong. Around this time last year a bunch of people were starting to get pumped for the upcoming ninja-themed Rider show. Year before that it was the gashapon-themed Kamen Rider Dragon, and the year before that it was a multi-Rider show with characters based on the Zodiac.

I'm more intrigued by what the collectible item will be more than anything. Cards, tickets, USB sticks, medals, switches, rings, keys, batteries; what else could be something that they'd think kids would want a ton of?

If they do a western theme(Django Unchained did pretty well in Japan ;) ) they could do badges. If it had six spokes it would fulfill the numbering motif that may or may not exist.

A badge collectable gimmick would be pretty neat. Not sure how it would work, but it'd still be neat.
But I don't think we'll see a Western theme.

If Sunred's revolver idea is taken into account, the collectible gimmick might be bullets?

Having kids collecting bullets sound a bit violent even for Japan! Plus that would probably end up working the same way as the Kyoryuger batteries. Sticking them in the gun etc. Though that would be a good way to get lots of different powers. Heat bullets, freeze bullets etc.

What I was thinking for the henshin of the badges would be the hero wearing the badge normally as a human, then pulling it off and sticking it on his driver for the henshin.

He could just swap one badge for another each time he needs to change form.

Yeah, it is pretty violent. I almost included a bit about if that was even legal in the other post. It would be a little different than the Jyudenchi, the chamber would fold out like an old fashioned sixshot, and you'd have to load all six bullets to henshin.
And, not to diss on the badge idea, but six bullets makes more sense to me than six badges.

I think the new Garo show is the closest you'll get to that.

Well I didn't say he'd be wearing six badges! Just that the badge would have six spokes on it. Wizard doesn't wear five rings at a time.

Maybe if he had the six spoke badge, each tip could have a gem or emblem on it, by twisting the badge he could change form depending on what emblem is at the top.

You can make it a collectable gimmick by having each point be removable similar to the abare plates =)

This whole badge idea is reminding me of Den-O's Belt's gimmick.

I was thinking maybe different types of badges for different agencies/groups. That might give us...

This may be the wrong place for this, but with Wizard almost over it has brought me to the question of "What is the next rider"?

If I am not mistaken, normally we have at the very least a tiny glimpse of the next rider and promotional material by now. So, what is the deal?

Normally we get the new Rider cameo come the summer movie.
Since that's been replaced by Super Hero Taisen Z, I'm unsure now...

How do you mean replaced? SHTZ is already out, the summer movie will still come out the same time it usually does.
