Sorry! If you want, I can sell you my Gashapon Burakawani medals since I want Astro Switch 5 and getting the SP Medal set is the only way to get it. Or we could just split the cost of the SP Medal set that's on Amazon for $34 with free shipping.

I ended up buying a Gashapon set for the TaJaDol medals from a guy in Japan since I didn't really want the Spinner the DX medals come with.

I still really want to get the Premium Medal set, someday.

I'm most likely just gonna buy the set myself, and there was somebody on here who wanted to trade my Meteor Switch and something else for his Red cores, but he hasn't contacted me in a while -____-

My medals and ranger key set got here on Saturday morning and I was asleep, so I had to pick them up today since the post office is closed on weekends. I also picked up Prime legion Brakedown and Evac from Walmart whilst hunting for Vehicon and the Avengers 6 inch figures with no luck.

I now have all but the EX and Sagozo medals, but I really don't want the EX. So only 3 to go! Oh and the OOO driver along with the medals it comes with. Still need those >_<

Minipla Go-Buster Ace. My first Minipla since Gourai Senpuujin, this will be fun ^_^

Nice. I like a alot more than the other mechs for gobuster oh. Hes probably the most fun to pose.

On that note I picked up the red and gold disk cycles for power rangers samurai and a transforming dekabike robo KO over at The Christmas tree shop. They also had the red dino cycle from MMPR 2010. I also got a lot of other cool stuff but they are all going on my sales thread. Including a spare samurai octozord now up for grabs ;)

I got myself the FREEing Dynamic Change Getter Robo, it was great until it broke, but I think this it the company's first try so I want to give them the benifet of the doubt and see if they do a second toy. If the second one they do is not any better than I'll give up.

I'm really tempted, I kinda want to get into the coins, but I don't like how the chip is visible thru the plastic, and I'm not sure I want to go to the effort to disassemble them and paint the inside. Hmmm.

I just got my OOO Driver today(pics tomorrow as it's quite late) I made a belt so it's actually wearable, and I did exactly that to all of my medals, I painted the insides silver. It's totally worth it.

Just silver? Is that all that needs to be done to make them look nice? Can you point me to some pics?

My other reason for not getting into the medals is that I have no desire for the belt, or any other OOO role play toy. I just like coins/medals.

One last off topic question. Are those all DX medals? Those are the ones that are sold in three packs, or with the DX Role play toys, right? Do I want to bother with gashapon medals?

Yes they are all DX medals. They are sold in medal sets 1, 2, 3, 4, SP, EX, and in the OOO Driver and TaJa Spinner. Many people opted to skip the TaJa Spinner and got Gashapon versions of Kujaku and Condor. I do not own any Candy Toy or Gashapon medals, but I do know that gashapon can serve as a decent substitute since the rings are also die cast, the only difference being the design on the back. I think only the DX medals have the lines on the back like on the show.

If you want only medals and aren't interested in the role play toys, I suggest you save up and get the premium collection. You get all the Cores as well as all the Cells. Expensive as hell, but looks totally worth it. I believe there are a couple sets on Mandarake for 11,000-12,000 yen. Which is quite cheap, I forget what their original cost is, but I saw ebay listings for $500+. Heres a couple of preview pics.

Yeah, I've looked at pictures of the Premium set, and I want it, but I'm not going to be able to afford, or justify, that much for a long time. So I'll go for the cheaper ones for now.
