Hasn't it been on the record multiple times that they don't want to just throw in guest characters willy nilly because that would detract from what Smash Brothers is about?
More likely than not, Protoman will just be an alt. color for him (If you're lucky, they might pull a Wario and give him a texture swap into Protoman, too).
X is unlikely because they went with the Super Deformed style Megaman, while X had more accurate proportions.

Anyway, I was about to decry Megaman as "Samus with a slide kick"
Then I saw the trailer. My jaw hit the floor. Thank god Metal Man's power was included. I love that one. A bit saddened that MM doesn't change color, but considering the nature of Smash Bros, I guess having a 4 person Megaman fight with everyone swapping colors would be confusing as all hell.

I agree. Look at Brawl we got Sonic and Solid Snake. We didn't get Sonic and Shadow, or Snake and Raiden. So, why would they include two characters from the same franchise?

Honestly I never saw the big draw of Smash Brothers. The first one was fun, for a while. But then I'm the dork that sat there and played Pokemon SNAP! for ten straight hours.

I never saw the big draw of JRPGs as a whole.
Doesn't mean that others out there definitely do and enjoy them.

Having someone explain why something is fun is rather nebulous because what I find "Fun" can vary differently from what, say, Sideswipe finds "Fun", despite us both liking Smash Bros.

Anyway, Wii Fit Girl looks funny. I'm kind of interested.

is it wrong that i have not played single smash bros game and yet this one i be getting both verstion of if i like it due to i had pokemon snap and bought that for virtual console due to the fact i it was my first N64 game along with the N64 it self

Really excited to see them finally making another one, it's been too many years since Brawl. I remember playing original Smash Bros on N64 and it was just incredible to see all your favorite Nintendo characters mashed up in this crazy fight. But the one thing that cemented that franchise was Melee. An absolutely fantastic fighter.
