Watching Blade - I'm like 12 episodes in - here is how I'd improve those first 12 episodes.

I'd take Hajime out, not Chalice, Chalice is awesome but I'd completely redo his character from the ground up. Hajime's rivalry with Kenzaki is contextless and his follow up stories are basically tacked on filler and that is insulting considering Chalice is the coolest Rider in the show.

Give Garren an arc before the fear one. We know nothing of Tachibana so he just comes across a little pathetic when he starts Hulking to death. If we could have had an arc which highlighted just how much of a fearless badass he was, then we could care more about his story.

I'd tighten the focus. I actually think it's best when less is going on, rather than more, as episodes tend to jump all over the place. This isn't a soap opera, pick a story and stick with that one until it's done.

I'd also completely redo all of the special attacks, they all look terrible.

I would work the multi-series baddies Organization X into it more. I mean where were they in wizard? I hope they somehow show up in gaim. I mean fueki could have gotten help from them in doing what he did.

It would be cool if Foundation X was the one who gave Fueki the white wizardriver to get the ball rolling. But beyond that, their involvement would be unnecessary.

Didn't Skull eat up all of the W time in his Crossover with OOO? I'd love more Skull too, but he kind of did get his own movie, or least a huge chunk of it.

i personnaly would have liked to see in wizard:
1.have phoenix come back mega-powerful due to all the times he dies and ressurected while bieng trapped in the sun(though i'm not sure i want him back as a rider or as the final villian)
2.work more with haruto's relation to dragon and actually have him fail in stopping a gate from becoming a phantom at least once
3.work all hell lot more with koyomi and fueki's stroy and background

OOO:
1.bring ankh's background from the noval into the show as a build-up for tajadol debut
2.bring the original OOO as the final villian
3.keep the whole stroy with the purple medals but put it earlier in the show rather then making it the build-up for the finale
4.the greed got sealed beacuse the original OOO tried to scan all 30 medal types and failed make the final form for the OOO show eiji succesfully scaning all medals and unlocking the ultimate form of OOO

Love Ryuki, but I have to agree with this.

Okay, everyone who is saying that somebody should have actually become a Phantom in Wizard. You're missing the point. Wizard was about how hope in the face of despair could take on anything and win. If Haruto were to fail in saving somebody from becoming a Phantom, that would invalidate the entire show. ...Okay, maybe it wasn't a very sharp point, but it's still a point!

Also, why does this topic even exist? Yeah, some series aren't my favorite, and all of them have their flaws, but to just rewrite them in its entirety just feels like Fan Wank to me.

Of course, that's just my opinion; YMMV after all.

There 2 Kamen Rider show in mind I would make the show better.

Fourze- Give Gentaro more character development. I feel Gentaro didn't have more character development as he was guy who want to make friend with everyone even the bad guy. I would have him be fron happy-go-lucky guy to more serious guy

Get rid of Yuki Jojima, replace her with Zodiart Rider

I feel Fourze was more comedy show. They say Kamen Rider is Batman of Japan but Fourze is not like him. Make the show little bit dark.

For the Movie. Get rid of Kyodain, Inazuman and Akumaizer and replace them with Movie-Excluise Kamen Rider. Toei have waste an opportunity to have Evil Rider in Fourze Movie (Don't get me start in OOO Movie) instead they have Forgotten character from old show that younger didn't care for. This is my idea for Movie Exclusive Kamen Rider for Fourze.

For Kamen Rider Fourze: The Movie. Have 2 Evil Kamen Rider who are Brother and Sister take Kyodain's duo place and they are robots. Their name will be Kamen Rider Ground and Kamen Rider Sky and 1 Good Kamen Rider who is Inga's Robotic Bodyguard and his name will be Kamen Rider Knight.

For Kamen Rider Wizard and Fourze Crossover. Have 1 Anti-Hero Kamen Rider in Fourze's segment. His name will be Kamen Rider Monster. And have Dark Version of 3 Kamen Rider as main villain (Dark Kamen Rider W, OOO and Fourze)

Wizard- That's easy. NO MORE GATES OF THE WEEK. as they are annoying din't get me start Bird Arc.

Get Rid of that (God-Awful) theme song. I become anti against this song.

No more of that 2 filler episode arc. They serve no purpose but annoy the audience.

Get better head writer like Yasuko Kobayashi instead that Tsyoshi Kiba.

It's Magic Show! Make it like Magiranger!

Get rid of Phoenix and Medusa. It just I don't like them. It just that they are not interesting villain. They like Blandness like Phoenix is Hayden Christensen of Japan and Medusa (my least favorite villain) is Kristen Stewart of Japan.

And Finally

Make Wizard's suit design more Kamen Rider. Wizard got to be my least-favorite Kamen Rider Design ever! It doesn't resemble Kamen Rider at all! (It missing the eye like Beast and the mouth like Gaim)

You're not getting the point of Fourze either! Fourze was meant to cheer everyone up after the GIANT FLIPPIN' EARTHQUAKE that happened. If you made it darker, that kind of defeats the purpose of the whole show.

Gentarou actually DID have character development. It was subtle, but it was there. When he started, he cared about the number of friends. He still cared about them as people, but he was a bit more concerned with the number, in my opinion of course. As the show went on, the journey to becoming someone's friend and his bond with them became more important. Also, Gentarou had plenty of serious moments, but making that his entire character would mean that he wasn't Gentarou.

As for evil Riders...what the hell is everyone's obsession with them?! I actually like the Akumaizers and the Space Ironmen and Inazuman. Yeah, I have no clue who they are, but I still liked them.

I'm starting to wonder why I even made this account in the first place. All I'm seeing around here lately is complaining about things you don't like, and I could have seen that without an account!

It my opinion. Evil Rider are like very different rider than main rider because the audience love villains. But It Kamen Rider! Not crossover! I surprise you not a fan of those evil rider?

Here's what I think of your ideas.

Don't get rid of Yuki.

Add a zodiarts rider who is the opposite of Fourze. Another Chalice. Someone who is related to Gamou. He can first work for the zodiarts in fulfilling their mission and uses kids to destroy Gentaro in order to show him friendship is an illusion. In truth, he struggles with friendship and that act of his was a lie. He was also responsible for Gentaro's parents in their car accident.

Switch Gamou from Sagittarius to Ophiuchus and make the zodiarts rider Sagittarius.

Switch Yuki from being Gemini and pass THAT on Gentaro instead and the zodiarts rider will save him.

Make the horoscopes a student council instead. And get rid of 2-filler episodes.

The KRC members, make them zodiarts for Gentaro to save in order for them to gain friendship.

Instead of adding two, add three instead.

Add another mage into Kizaki's group. A druid. He'll be a Phantom who honors his Gate's will in order to give it a life.

Change the mage suits of Mayu, Yuzuru & Yamamoto into their own mages.

Have sorcerer appear in both the movie and TV show.

GET MORE PHANTOM GENERALS! One of them will take over the White Wizard and a new Drake Phantom will join him as sorcerer and its not Orma. He can also turn Haruto into the Dragon Phantom by force of despair when Koyomi dies.

Hey, I like Eternal and Poseidon and Gaoh fine. I just don't think evil Riders should be the be-all-end-all of Movie villains.

For the long version you can check out my growing hostility towards the show in the Let's Watch Wednesday threads. The short version, though, is that I generally hated most elements of it (not Kai, though - I didn't like him, but he didn't bother me much). It was mostly that the stories were boring, most of the characters were awful (especially Makito, who was played by possibly the worst actor ever), many of the magical spells were kinda bullshit, the constant whining about Dead Mom got old, Mandora Boy was horrid de gozarimasu desu, and, in general, the vast majority of its elements were specifically crafted to annoy me.

In your defense, I don't think it's physically possible to enjoy Makito.

It would be better for Wizard that whenever Haruto henshins and that their the tunes pop up. Whenever he prepares to fight or whatever he's in a jam, the transformations should go into slow motion when the tune is sung. Like spinning slowly or something in a dramatic way?

Wizard would be improved by having no sound from his Driver at all, well you can leave the 'Driver On' bit, that is okay.

Wizard could improve by NOT BEING SO FUCKING CLICHED. Driver sounds? That's the least of that show's problems.

The only problem with Wizard is that the last 7 episodes make the entire show pointless. Oh, and at how cheaply terrible the costumes look for the other wizards.

Wizard's transformations should went to like slow motion whenever the tune pop ups.

And they should've added more mages! Haruto and Nitoh aren't enough.

There are a lot of mages! Mages should be troopers instead.

And there should be more Phantom generals! Those that can become mages too in service of Wiseman.

And as I said... there should be a mage under Kizaki's ranks. He can be a Phantom who is honoring his gate's wishes. And there should be another mage who is also a Phantom like him in service of Wiseman. Instead, he betrays Wiseman later after he wasted the last Sabbath by Beast's interference and uses the Philosopher's stone for his own ends.

Personally I don't get the "more is better" argument in pretty much any facet of life. Even HOLY GAIM with its ability to stop logical and critical thinking/discussion in its tracks, fumbles and trips and stutters as it attempts to juggle a clusterfuck of Riders and try and keep them all relevant.

Sure the initial thrill of a new Rider is great, but I'd sooner two Riders who feel like lived in human beings to something like Gaim where the most detailed of Rider is still vague and half realised.

Honestly one of my main improvements for Gaim would be to trim the Riders down massively. Remove the Energy Riders, along with Hase and Jonouchi and in my mind you'd not only get a more focused series, but one with a much stronger cast of characters.

I'd make Bravo a genuine, long game threat while retaining the depth we've seen from him so far and spread Gaim's upgrades between him and Baron so they can advance at near enough the same pace.

Oh my reading Locke's post made me think that Kouta's sister would become Marika. It's like every character needs to be a rider, at least Micchy has two forms, less people.

I thought the ending helped salvage the show for me. Seeing that everything that had happened up to that point more or less worked into Fueki's plan really helped make all of the MotW plots feel like they did serve a point. Maybe it's just because this came after Fourze, where the villain barely had a plan, but I liked the idea behind the master plot. It's just that the pacing was awful and they hinged way too much of the ending on a character whose actress couldn't be bothered to show up to work.

I would've flushed out some of the ideas better in a few series'. Kiva, for example. There were many ideas they displayed but never explained and never used again. Like Ixa's Fake Fuestles. He used them once for Gururu-Fake and never used them again. And the Booster for Ixa's motorcycle. And Decade has to be the worst offender. The entire plot can be counted as an idea they never paid off on.

Mostly what I'd like to see them do is make more movies like The First and The Next. I would love to see one made of Stronger, Amazon, even X. I know The First and The Next (Remakes of the original Kamen Rider and V3) weren't popular, I don't think, but still. An updated version of classic Riders I'd enjoy.

I don't think anything needs changed in Gaim. I'm enjoying it, atleast. Though I would've liked to see Baron get his own Lockseed instead of borrowing Ryouma's Lemon Energy. But storywise I'm loving it.

Recently, I would've liked to see an OOO movie involving the original King OOO as some Mega-Greeed. That would've been fun. But we've had alot of good series' lately storywise.

Except Wizard. Wizard I'd like very much to forget. It needs an entire story overhaul, a reworked (and quieter) belt, and a main character that could actually emote. That'd be nice.

The fact that the Haruto "has no emotion" thing is still around makes me laugh. Maybe actually watch the show.

Ryuki handled its Riders really well. But considering it had 10 riders in its show with each set of characters having intertwining arcs that was well paced, Gaim has slightly more and all its done is that it has been building up to... something?

Upgrade Rant time
Gaim gets like 3 upgrades while the Genesis Driver doesn't get jack shit. Usually, the secondary belt gets an upgrade gimmick that comes out around April/May (Accel,Meteor and Beast's belts all got some sort of super special thing of thier gimmick and even though Birth didn't get a new thing for his he at least got a new form/armor thing) Gaim? If you're not Gaim (Or Zangetsu and Baron because of the Genesis switch), fuck you , you get no upgrades.

Kuuga: The lighting in the show was very bad. In the beginning, it was pretty obvious that a lot of major fight scenes were shot in the late afternoon, pretty much at sunset. Also, with no music to liven the fight scenes, it felt very boring to look at.

Ryuki: [Spoilers] Completely get rid of the story about Kanzaki Yui dying and living until her 20th birthday and just have the remaining riders battle it out. That part of the storyline by itself ruined the series for me. I also didn't like how a Mirror Monster killed Ryuki. It would have been better if Ouja or Zolda killed him instead with him dying in a heroic way.

555: It's perfect the way it is.

Blade: Have the first few episodes show how Kenzaki became Blade, then follow the actual storyline with Episode 1 now being Episode 3 or 4.

Hibiki: Don't call it a Kamen Rider series. Hibiki never had a bike, and the series could easily be rewritten as a Garo spinoff.

Decade: Make it have at least 48 episodes so that he can visit all of the Showa era worlds and actually have a decent ending. Also get rid of the camera motif.

W: It's fine the way it is.

OOO: It's fine the way it is, though I'd prefer if the timing of the Greeds' "deaths" were more spread out in the series as opposed to all dying in the last few episodes.

Fourze: Make Sagittarius become a centaur when he accesses Nova Form. If Scorpion gains scorpion legs in her Nova Form, why doesn't he?

Wizard: Get rid of Rinko. She barely contributed to the storyline and was an awful police officer. The Mage costumes also looked horribly cheap in design. They should have made the blue and green ones look different.

Gaim: Get rid of the dancing component of the series; it served no purpose in the series at all. They could have just made the teams be part of a "gang war" in which they battled using the Invess Games right off the bat.

Ummm. Yes he did. He totally had a bike. One of the coolest Rider bikes ever in my opinion. This is what bugs me about people who don't watch far enough in to a show before writing it off...

After reading this, I disregarded everything else you had written. You're kidding me if you don't think the final episode wasn't tremendously flawed. OH WELL. Opinions are opinions. Fanboys are fanboys. I'd be lying if I said I didn't have my own guilty pleasures too.

Yup, there was even a part of the story when he had to learn how to drive from Ibuki first. It was very late in the series, but unlike DiEnd for example, Hibiki had a bike.

Besides, a bike doesn't qualify a Rider as a Rider. Most Heisei Riders rarely ever use their bikes anyway. And Beast had a bicycle...

Truth. That's the whole reason behind the beginning of Gaim being centered around street dancers, of course: An unexpectedly clever way of using the word RIDER ironically without having to use the bikes too often.

I think the thing with Gaim is that it's split into different sagas, which kinda works as a double-edged sword. The way I see it, each saga so far as had different antagonists, which means certain characters start getting filtered in and out as time goes along. Unfortunately, it means a lot of characters get shafted, but I still quite like the set up.

EDIT: And to add a bit more of a contribution, I guess with Ryuki, I'd have it end right before the time reversal. Would have been a pretty ballsy way to end a Rider series. I'd also give Tiger more screentime, because for unexplained reasons, I love Tiger and Tojo AS Tiger.

With Faiz, I'd give it an actual ending. It kills me how Faiz had so much potential and they leave the ending ambiguous. With a series that will probably never get a sequel, that's quite frustrating.
