I've only seen a few episodes of RWBY, and I think it's alright. I felt sorry for that poor guy with the sword during the training in the forest. Although it is funny how the guy with the sword and armor is the most incompetent one. :lol

Lead animator is Monty Oum, many other peeps at Roosterteeth works on this project, Monty usually handles the big fight scenes.

Edit - Read your posts to fast. RWBY is created by Monty Oum. His famous projects being Dead Fantasy, and Haloid as well as producing most of the CGI in RvB in the past.

Depends on your definition of the word anime (that isn't an invitation to start up a debate on it). Its an American made show in the style of Japanese ones, ala Avatar.

Saw it as soon as they posted it... My immediate thought was "That's awesome! Good for them!"

Then I looked at it again and thought "A statue? Yeah I'm not getting it."

I don't think that'd happen, since RWBY is kind of sort of indie-ish, and it's American (Yes, the guy is Japanese, but Rooster Teeth is American) I realize that The Avengers are getting them as well, but that is a big budget movie that has a sizeable market in other countries outside of the US. I think the fact that it got any sort of merchandise is a miracle.

Fair enough. As much as I would love fully articulated RWBY figures I guess I should just be grateful for what we got.
