Nice use of totally unreasonable extremes. Micchy has subtle feelings for Mai = stalker crush. Kota is nearly killed in what he believed was a game = Whiny bitch.

Yea, I dont really get those kind of moments a lot, I mean he was just sitting in his room, Im sure next episode, after Micchy has his little battle with team (whatever it is, the guy with the Ichigo seed), Kouta will get back on his feet, with more determination, probably get that Ichigo seed and have a third upgrade in the 5th episode :lol

So if we keep going this route, how many upgrades will these guys have? Im pretty sure that was Mango that Kaito took first from the forest so he will be next.

The thing is, this is probably the moment that makes Kota no longer treat being a rider as a game, now that he knows what can happen.

It's not pointless, it's important. Of course we know what happens, it's a necesary step in establishing the tone. It'd have to happen sooner or later.

Thats my point. But if that moment comes this early in the series, then who knows how much more we are gonna get later!

I absolutely loved this episode. Kaito is totally badass, and awesome. I love how he is using the Lock Seeds to have people join Team Baron. Micchi is totally awesome, and relatable, I love how he got his belt and had the hidden ferocity inside him and showing he is more than this shy kid. Also liked the Zangetsu vs Gaim fight that was cool. Takatora is definitely dark, I am intrigued to see where he goes. I like that Kota is taking this more seriously and hopefully this will be his only time he's afraid like this and not happening later in the series. Loving this series a lot. I don't know if I like Baron or Ryugen more but they are both totally awesome!

It was as good as ever.

P.S. I freaking love Zangetsu.

Another good episode. Not much to say that hasn't been said already. Definite highlights for me were the Gaim and Zangetsu fight and Micchi using his potential future status to strong arm Sid into giving him a driver.

The question is, who is Sid? He seems to be a mysterious figure even to Yggdrasil. Maybe he's like Shroud from W?

No... just no.

I'm curious to find out who he exactly is as well..

Also, Ryugen is probably my favorite suit design of the show so far.

Same! Just a shame his debut happened literally in the closing seconds of the episode. Hopefully next episode he gets a proper fight, but we have like what...five more Rider's to introduce? I guess that is why the show is blasting along.

I just don't like the weapon though. He should have some grape shaped nunchunks.

Nah I dont think so. It was always implied that Sid works for Yggdrasil and sells the lock seeds to the Beat/Armored Riders.

What I am even more intrested in is how he reacts now that Kaito is the one who gets the lock seeds for everyone. Now Sid or Yggdrasil dont have control over the Invess Game anymore and there is a higher risk now of high level Invess to get loose and attack civillians.

But there was that moment in episode 3 where Sid's facial expression clearly showed that he knew the consequences of providing them alternate-universe warping Rider bikes. Why would he want to send those two to that mysterious forest? They would cause nothing but trouble for Yggdrasil's activities there.

The other question would be how he even got his hands on the bikes. He doesnt seem as someone who has the meens to build them himself. And the other thing is if he is not associated with Yggdrasil and is messing up there plans why didnt Zangetsu already kill him? It is no secret that he always hangs out in the juice bar.

So many mysteries, that's what makes this show so intriguing. :)

Never did get around to posting in this thread. All I really have to say is it was another great episode. The highlight being Kouta's breakdown. Not other do we get the see another side to the character, but his actor is good at it. No wonder he didn't have to audition for the part.


Anyways, anyone got that link to TV Asahi streaming? I'd like to try to watch episode 5 that way and can't find the link.
