I think everyone is bashing Micchy way too much.He comes across as weak because when you think about it,his second battle as Ryugen is against a trained Baron and two Inves, and he still seemed to hold his own till Gaim came in.I mean look at how Gaim started off.He was swinging wildly, taking guesses, and tipping over in pizza delivery carts. Now he's punching battle shields to pieces in one shot and using new lock seeds like its a second nature.
Just saying, give Micchy some time.If this series goes as dark as I think it will,I can totally see Zangetsu killing Ryugen, not knowing its his own brother till he dies and henshins out of the suit in front of him |
What's more effective - shooting grapes out of your grape gun, or attempting to grape-pistol-whip your opponents?

I like Micchy. He's not an insta-badass.

Do you think we're getting TOO many characters TOO quickly?
I mean, we're going to be 6 episodes in with 7 Riders. At some point we're going to have to break away from the "INTRODUCE A NEW RIDER EVERY EPISODE!" trend. Is that going to be a disappointment when we eventually get to the more character-driven stories? |
As long as all of the rider's get a chance to develop, and have episodes devoted to them sprinkled throughout, I don't really mind. Though I do agree they should slow down before they burn themselves out.

Pretty solid episode. Nice to see that the show is almost entirely beyond the wacky exposition. Action scenes were great this episode.

Done, now we know the reasoning for all of Riders that shall be running around. But will they play like Ryuki and start killing off Armored Riders? |

I just had a thought.
What if they do pull off a Ryuki, and try to reboot the timeline… except they end up kick-starting it. Here's what I'm thinking: someone from the future, in a desperate gamble to prevent the future from happening the way it does, travels back in tie to prevent it. However, this person is trapped in the Halheim Forest, is attacked by Invess, and drops a Sengoku Driver… the same Sengoku Driver found by Kouta. |

I dont think people using the same lock seed will have the exact same design. Sure the Armor will be the same but the rest of the Suit probably wont be.

That's a pretty massive what if that flies in the face of everything we see. The show is taking careful steps to establish Riders are unique looking, and that a certain five will be established. I don't know why everyone keeps trying to throw doubt where doubt cannot exist. Even chumpstyle riders like Kurokage who people are already writing off as a future body, they still gave him a unique "base" suit. Lock seeds are, honestly, entirely without significance or true identity at this point. They're just tools. The belt itself controls everything. |
A twin could have the same DNA so they can use the belt ..
|
Have they said that it is DNA specific?
Because I don't believe they did. They said it locks to the user. I don't see how a belt can make DNA contact through clothes. EDIT: Yup, says nothing about DNA. Just the first person who puts it on. Also, that'd be one hell of a shitty cop-out to have Gridon just have an identical twin out of nowhere just so that he can appear in the future very briefly standing in the background. |
I like Micchy. We already see his desires (he wants to help Kota and likes dancing with Team Gaim) he has something for Mai and we know that he's smart along with his brother and family pressuring him to work for Yggdrasil.
Micchy might be a character similar to Mutuski from Blade, very impressionable since he's so young but has good intentions. |
Okay, this episode was great. I just hope the series goes up from here as it is starting to get interesting. Well, as interesting as a show that seems to be just ripping off Ryuki with fruit can be.

Pretty great episode! I love Ichigo arms :lol

I thought this was the weakest episode of the bunch. It didn't get good till the end when Kota and Micchi were fighting together, hopefully it'll pick back up again next episode. I really enjoyed Takatora and Cid's talk though. Strawberry Arms are awesome though. I thought Kaito went down a bit using the Invess because he honestly doesn't need it. Kota was right about friends bring you power. I am a bit confused with why Kota needed to fight for himself I mean was fighting for others not good to fight for? I feel it's a bit weird but I am still liking it so far.

Maybe kind of like charity out of guilt, vs charity out of generosity? That's the best I can think. |

If that's what it is supposed to mean that makes the episode a whole hell of a lot better. I also would like to add to my own statement that I think Kaitou's definition of power actually makes sense and using the Invess is just him using his power. |
