Yeah, hate that the other four mechs aren't a part of this. I love it when pretty much all the mecha can combine together completely.

I'm hoping to come up with something in Zord Builder though, as long as BOA puts this one out.

Always thought this was such a bizarre character. Pretty neat, but still bizarre.

He doesn't really fit the whole "Go-Onger" theme either, in that he's just eyes on a racecar. Not that it's a bad thing, but the other Engines have more profound faces and such.

Also, to those that own him. How does the crown clip on the car as the spoiler?

I only ever found out about the engines properly during Gokaiger but after seeing Machalcon in action, I went and watched the show, though I only have owned the Minipla versions of the Mecha and the Figuarts 6 Gokaigers this toy has always been one i've wanted to get if I ever got Gokai-oh properly.

I have to say that there is something very therapeutic and liberating about having a toy car larger than your head even as an adult.

The Megazord is still an incredibly busy design in my eyes but looks a lot better in toy form than onscreen.

Same with Machalcon, really.

Wow, this actually looks neat. This is one gokai machine I didn't really pay too much attention to when I was marathoning the series.

true. Not sure not the thruster hand will attach, though. Maybe GoJyuJin's left hand will be replaced by a zordbuilder port.

I'm not a fan of centaur modes but Kanzen Gokai-Oh looks good and the key gimmick is quite brilliant, a solid mech to end this set of galleries.

Machalcon is cool, and his combination with gokai-oh and gojyujin is beautiful; however, i was kind of upset when I found that not all of gokai-oh is used.

I really like this one. There's so many things I'm planning on buying this year.

I liked the character in the show, though the hover car mode was...interesting. Final combination was boss hands down.

just wish they released the galleon separately from the other zords so you didn't have 4 left over zords and an armless gojyujin

To answer your question Mnemonic about the way the hat attaches. When the legs come together to form the car there's a groove they create down the seam which the hat pegs into. It's as simple as that but it's very sturdy. This whole set is quite sturdy and nice, I'm interested to see how much functionality is retained by the BOA version.

Beautiful gallery! Machalcon is, by far, my favorite of the Gokai-Oh supplemental pieces. I'm not even that concerned about combining him with the main robot, I just want Machalcon to display. He's just an amazing piece of work and pretty faithful (to my battered memory) to his show counterpart. I just hope I can find him relatively inexpensively some day.

I'm curious how they are going to make the chest work with the BoA version.

i would love to have seen a personal combining mecha for Marvellous made from all the great powers with mach falcon as the main part. then an ultimate form with every mech and add-on

the fact they had individual mechs was wasted in gokaiger

Probably it's just going to manually transform and plug into the the megazord's chest compartment.

Real talk here; next time an anniversary season comes up have Toei talk to people about just WHAT seasons were loved. Money's important but there's gotta be more than that to Sentai!

Toy sales are a pretty good indicator to what seasons were popular, because they're what kids love enough to buy toys of, I guess. And it's not like Toei didn't give fan nods otherwise, because I can't think of another reason why Timeranger was chosen as one of GoZyuJin's modes.

That combined mode looks beautiful. Even if it's just made from a Pirate Ship, a drill, a T-Rex head and an F1 car.
