you know, everybody keeps saying how they missed out the dairanger suits, they pretty much skipped Kakuranger too, I know the alien rangers were technically them, but they took massive liberties with the footage to make it work. Theres no reason they couldnt use Go Busters, they could make it a pretty tight 20 episode season and simply move on after 1 year.

I think from a toy marketing perspective its tough to market gobusters, as a show and a toyline given what other series tend to conform to, its a major departure. Would be nice to see it happen, hell they may work it into Tokkyugers adaptation. They could do a one off tv movie and condense the footage down to 90 minutes. I think the fact that the gobuster toyline was such a radical departure, plus the look of the suits, its legitimately hard for them to adapt, never impossible.

This news at first was shocking. I can see where Saban would want to skip this season, but as others have stated earlier in this thread, they could either A) Adapt Go-Busters into a movie B) Dino Charge, Go Bust, ToQ C) Skip it. Out of all of those I sorta want C. Why? Well while Go-Busters was okay, the suits would sorta break the spandex thing PR is known for. As well as the mech didn't look all to great, only Ace to me did it.

Now as for the Kyoryuger adaptation, the bounty hunter aspect is neat and I could see Deboss being him, with the others being family. Now the dozen Dino's is just Gabutyra, Stegochi, Dricera, Parasagan, Zactour, Ankydon, Bunpachy, Plezon, Bragigas, Tobaspino, Dienochaser, Teragoldon?, and maybe the dark Gabutyra.

I am now excited to see some of the possible original footage, as well as the new toys.

I'm not talking about molding. You mentioned orange tips for toy gun safety laws. They'd all have to have that. Even Silver's revolver, maybe not Gold's Arbalest. But I don't see how it would be easier to make those toys comply than the Go-Buster ones.

So they had to RUIN the anniversary by shoehorning friggin Goseiger into it because of this dumb "can't skip Sentai series" rule, only for it to be undone immediately after the anniversary?! That's horrible.

I would be ok if the villains for the hypothetical "Dino Charge" were in fact the Go-Busters who are a team of bounty hunters/adventurers/spies. Saban is making enough of a mess of things - might as well really go all out. :)

The same question was said for Doggie Kruger from Dekaranger/Power Rangers SPD, and nobody ever bothered to explain that. :p

have billy be the equivalent of dr. ulshade. he was the brain of the team. he is currently living on aquitar so it would make perfect sense to be the oceanic brave. also his daughter or granddaughter could be the second one. too bad it will never happen. honestly I think we need a tommy brake. also if gobusters is skipped it will be a shame, just look at how carranger and megaranger got adapted into space and turbo.

It's Power Rangers. People can breathe in space and on a version of Earth's moon that has normal gravity. Physics is outright ignored. :p

The more I think about this, the more it makes sense, really.

Go-Busters would be an enormous challenge to adapt:

- Only four human Rangers

- One Ranger that's also a fully suited robot

- No major suit-based villains

- Three odd robot sidekicks to integrate

- Lots of mech footage that that implies the military theme

- A very strange and unique aesthetic that didn't go over well when Toei tried it

- A show that tanked hard in Japan, leaving Toei with little bargaining power to try and force Saban to adapt it

- The other option is motherlovin' DINOSAURS

Yeah, I can see why Saban either wants to skip Go-Busters or get more time to try and figure it out.

I think we need to break down some of the info a bit:

:Paragon Prisms - Wha? How are cylindrical battery shaped things prisms? Unless BoA is going to completely change things and actually make them prisms. That would be real dumb.
:Alien - Hi Torin!
:Asteroids - Um...I thought it was Deboss that wiped out everything not asteroids (technically metors but who cares, they are both giant space rocks).

Bounty Hunter - notice the lack of a plural here. It looks like there might not be a Deboss legion in this series. That would make me very sad as some of those characters have been the highlight of Kyoryuger.
Annihilate - Why do they want to destroy the world?

-This is starting to sound a LOT like Operation Overdrive for some reason. Either that or Transformers Armada.

So this is just a little break down by me and is 100% speculation/knee-jerk reaction. Have fun kids.

Even though I don't watch the US stuff, as one of the seemingly few Go-Busters fans it stinks, on principle, to see the show possibly getting the shaft.

Except David Yost hates Saban and refuses to work with him.

I'm assuming the Paragon Prisms are Bragigas' tears, and that the "dozen" dinosaurs were the 12 Zyudenryu that were killed by Deboss in prehistoric times. Not the main ten Zyudenryu (and Tobaspino).

I totally forgot that for the most part the 2nd arc of Kyoryuger revolves around the Guardians but there are 13 Guardians so if they're going with the "dozen" thing they would have to get rid of Guardian 23

So maybe, the Dino's the rangers use are just there to help fight the Bounty Hunter? So what would they do with the Paragon Prism's?

The batteries could be housings for the prisms and the meteor theory could be "they came to earth like a meteor and destroyed everything once they emerged from their ship."

Makes sense to me. And it's not like it's impossible to have a bounty hunter work to destroy a planet. They did it in Ben 10, sorta.

This stinks of bull shit. Not only is that skipping a season again (which has been proven BS before), but next year's title and logo isn't revealed until the July marketing expo (I forget the exact name) every year.

Saban didn't say he wasn't allowed to skip seasons, it's that a certain percentage of each season's footage must be used. The Thunderzords filled that role.

if they do skip go-busters(which they wont) it would end up as a rpm sequel of the some kind it's one of the only ideas for a adaptation that would make sense

Thank you for someone finally noticing this and acknowledging it.Yeah,it's the only piece of evidence I have that they would combine the two series,but it's a big piece.

I can totally see them starting off with Gobusters and transitioning into Kyoryuger.Ever since Saban took over they have either been stretching one series into to different ones (Samurai and Super Samurai) or condensing two into one series(Megaforce being Goseiger and Super Megaforce being Gokaiger),so yeah.I can totally see them turning Gobusters and Kyoryuger into one series.

I can see them saying that "enetron" is the fuel for the Prisms.I can see Gobusters being the set up for Kyoryuger.Sure they don't share the same animals,but neither does Goseiger and Gokaiger when they decided on Megaforce and Super Megaforce.

I can see the transition of rangers as well.From 3 to 5,then from 5 to 10.Also the ending of Gobusters totally can set up for Kyoryuger.Dont they lose their mecha in the virtual world? Also Saban can totally set up them losing their powers in the final battle and gaining new ones from the prisms.

I just know that this news is one of three things that we've all boiled it down to as a whole.

1.They're skipping Go-Busters all together and may have a slight chance of doing it at a later date or not at all.

2.This is a fake report,and just another rumor.

3.(This is just my own personal thought) They're combining Go-Busters and Kyoryuger in some way,shape,or form.

I really hope they don't skip Gobusters. While I loved Kyoryuger and am currently sad that it is ending because it was a lot of fun, Gobusters had some of the best looking mechs in a while. Of course that is just my opinion.

Thats why i think when the super megaforce rangers go to corinth the'll find Go Busters there & thats how the'll get Go Busters out of the way. That's what i think the'll do.

Not gonna lie if they really end up somehow combining the two, I'd be super hyped.

You can blame that entirely on Nick. Saban wants to do the regular full run of episodes, but Nick refuses to order more than half that per year. Nick has been kind of dumb about stuff like that lately. Take Avatar for instance. Despite it being the highest rated show on the network, they initially only ordered 13 episodes of Korra.

The story has also been added to Power Rangers' Official account on Facebook.

Since both Bandai & Saban have a hand in that, I'm thinking this is pretty real after all. :)

I wouldn't be surprise, Go-Busters was the lowest rating Super Sentai ever, even the kids didn't care for it. I guessing that Go-Busters would be like what Saban did with Kakurangers, made it a side-story like Alien Rangers.
