More than anything, I don't appreciate the hardsubs and the late release schedule. I know some people like it, but I really just want nothing but the show and good subs. :D

Yeah, it's a shame too because I really liked the first episode of this sentai. I guess I'm in the minority, but I feel like this show could really shape into one of my favorite sentais.

I guess I'm just confused why OT would pass. They aren't doing anything right now but side projects if they pass on this. I know there's overlap with them and Aesir. This was a really fun and energetic first episode. The general public didn't care for Go-Busters & Wizard ( but I did) yet they slogged through them. So choosing to pass on a really fun show after having done one (kyoryuger) in a similar vein seems odd.

I always appreciate TVN but the big delays have gotten to be too much this past year. But I was really hoping for Aesir on this one, MegAnon is cool too.

I don't really mind the humor. Well except maybe for the part where Blue fell off the train and ran away in that first fight. Other then that I liked the comedy. It's in Right and Kagura where I have problems.

I personally thought it was genuinely funny at parts, like why the were getting their suits on and the mooks had to wait behind the white line until the rangers had fully changed.
Also, did you notice how the mech transforms exactly how the toy does? It even had blue and green clip onto red's Ressha.

Kagura's just kind of a pain.

Also, technically there hasn't been an official statement from OT, but it seems to look as if the majority of OT members seem not to like it.

Yep thats what I liked about this episode the most. The way the show takes everything so...literal. They even have to got through that little gate with their pass to board the Ressha :lol

I loathe her. I know it's probably bad to say that one episode in but it's true. I absolutely loathe her.

She isn't all that bad. Personally, I think she's kinda cute.

I dont get it either. Its exactly the character you would expect from someone whos Ranger name is a pun on " GO! GO!"

I don't hate her per se, I just feel like the team flows well and then you reach her and she can't fight or do much of anything. Although character development could change how I feel about her over the season, for now I don't like her that much. I like Right though, he's like a mixture of Alata and Daigo, in that he's nice and works well with a team, like Alata, but is also a little headstrong like Daigo.

Personally I don't like her bubbliness and cuteness. It's kinda pushed in your face a bit. She just doesn't do it for me. But I think what did it for me was her fight scenes. She seems weak as all hell and the part where she poked the foot soldiers to death. I get that imagination is her strength but it shouldn't be the only way she can fight back.

I think she's utterly weak and her over/forced (to me) cuteness just makes me dislike her strongly, especially when we have other "cute" pinks that are much much better characters.

I hope she turns out to be different and change my mind but at the moment, I just loathe her.

I'm pretty sure Kagura will have a pretty damn awesome character development. She has the potential to become amazing.

Of course she is kinda insecure atm, but as she has proven during the fight, if she gets over her doubts, she's a total badass. Just remember what she did when she managed to use 4go's axe.

And btw. you can't compare her to Pinks that came before at this point. She had only 1 episode, while we have seen others fight for a year.

Yeah but she only managed to do so after having to imagine herself being strong. She shouldn't have to imagine about being strong to lift a weapon. If she wants to use it (imagination) as an actual weapon, go for it. But when you have to use it to lift a freaking weapon, you're just not doing something right.

I know not every ranger can be really strong, but I mean I said it above kinda well IMO, if you can't lift up a weapon as basic as the axe, maybe you should stay on the train while the others fight.

Yeah the Axe was way too heavy for Kagura but only because its meant for Hikari. None of them trained to use the other weapons so why should she have enough strength from the get go to use it?

I really didn't find anyone except Conductor to be grating. And even then it was more the puppet. The team is solid if you ask me. Ichigo is really great, Yongo I'm diggin as well.

On another note, am I the only one who got a slight steam punk vibe from the main villain when they showed the family?

Besides, Kagura is a female, fighting with a claw. She isn't used to heavy weapons like Mio or Hikari and females naturally have less muscle power than males. Of course she'd have problems to lift it. Have you seen the size of that thing?

I got a really like aristocratic industrial revolution vibe from them. Really dug all the designs. The child like voice on Miss Greeta makes her more terrifying than I thought. The others were just absolutely great designs.

They are definately very steampunky

I liked the Conductor's stern-ness. I feel like it's setting him up for the TQGs to warm his heart over the course of the season.
I also like Ticket, although he's a little grating at first. I think the truth is I just love his design.

Kagura just didn't have the stamina for the axe because she doesn't regularly use it. Nothing wrong with that. Would anyone expect Yellow to be awesome with Blue's gun even though she never used it before? No, and they shouldn't.

Yeah, it totally feels steampunk. I really like how big the Shadow Line set feels, it seems a lot less cramped than the Deboss one.

Oh yeah that voice was just creepy.

So we got aristocratic/demonic/steampunk villains...awesome. Though I do want the sub so I can understand why they kidnapped children. Know they're villains but, why? :lol

The second I saw those pigtails I knew she was going to be utterly detestable in all the ways Natsuki from Boukenger was.

I haven't watched this yet, but I'll still give it a shot when a good raw and/or sub goes up.

The thing that makes me think Conductor will be a "darker" character than we might expect is that he can control the ToQgers arsenal. Reminds me alot of Kougami and how he manipulated the Ridevendors.

After watching the episode again, I like her more. I just really like the cast this season, they all seem fun and really fit the show.

Disappointed there isn't a gimmick to resurrecting and making the MOW grow. Just seems plain lazy too me like Shinkenger. Other than that I thought is was an alright ep.
