I was never able to jump onto the more expensive sets but I remember having all 6 Bohrok, Bohrok Kal, & Vahki. I was never able to start purchasing the Vizorak & I only had one Piraka & one Bahraki. I did have all the winter 2008 sets, not all the summer 2008 sets though.

The Kikanalo remains my absolute favorite Rahi released. It was just such a fun set.

Though if you combined what I had of both the Mata and Nuva, I almost had the whole team, except Tahu...

So all this thinking about it made me finally place an order for a Kongu Mahri on Bricklink I've been eyeing for a while.

Oh yeah, I did have STARS Tahu, but that's STARS and no one cares about them.

Hey now. The Rahkshi of Heat Vision released under STARs is the best set ever. Of all time. Period.

Hmm... We got Taku, Takanuva, HV Rahkshi, A Skakdi, Gresh and a Skrall. So two were from last year, 3 were from the early years everyone has nostalgia for... think you may be right.

Yeah the Bionicle Stars line was okay, I only bought Takanuva & Tahu from that set, those were the only two.

So I lost the Disk of Time that came with my green Vahki set.

Ho! I had no idea this thread was here. I just sold all mine off about 4 years ago. Got a nice sum of money for them but man do I miss them. especially the Toa from matanui and the toa nuva reborn from 2009.

I relay hope lego looks into doing a big screen revival for the series al a the Lego movie.

God I love Bionicle. Have all my sets still on display. I made a titanic Makuta MOC as well.

I miss mine my brother decided to give them all to his X-girlfiends lil brother with out my permission. I only have one MOC but he's so loose now due to the age.

Really love the Mahri - Phantoka line since I was able to buy all the Toa's from those, and the titans. I really miss my Axxon, Hydaxon and Toa of Life.

Though the one bionicle I really wanted would have to be the original Takanuva, gosh I wanted him so, so, so bad.

My very first bionicle was I believe Toa Tahu Mata or Toa Lewa Mata, after that I do remember getting the flame Bohorok at CVS with my babysitter.

Favorite titan though has to go to Hydraxon gawsh he was by one of the most amazing titan I ever owned, the way they made launcher and his claw attached to his arms was clever, and I also believe he's the first bionicle that actually has hands if you exclude Axxons and his giant fingers. On top of that his story was cool how Dekar the motaron become Hydraxon due to the mask of life.

So i guess its time to talk about the successor line, Hero Factory.

Personally, I just can't get into it. There's no real mythos and the heros aren't that unique. Sure they have personalities but their also mass produced which makes them feel less special. the Toa were presented as the chosen few who had a duty to protect the Mataron and Mata Nui

I should consider getting more, right now I have 2, Evo and yellow villain guy from breakout... who I rebuilt anyways.

I mainly buy Hero Factory for making random kamen rider/super sentai robot villains & my own lego anime mecha characters, hell I'm planning to make my own Accel World character once I get some more Hero Factory sets to complete it :lol.

Now with hero factory I wished the in operated bionicke mythos as part of the hero factory universe. I mean make them like ok Greeks or Romeo type of by story for hero factory.
