Sony's press conference has come and gone and while there are an amazing amount of games coming out, there was nothing shown that made me go, "OMG!!!" Well, okay, GTAV alone made me go "OMG!!" but that is because that game is one of the ports I have been wanting on the PS4 for months now. I also want Far Cry 4 and The Last of Us Remasterd, and obviously next year Uncharted 4 and Batman are a must. Destiny really impressed me and if it weren't for being an online multiplayer game, I would definitely get interested in it. Oh, and Mortal Kombat X looks sick. However, the conference did seem to stagger at times and there was a lot of pointless information thrown out, disrupting the flow of games as MS and Ubisoft had. Overall, I give it a B+.

No Man's Sky was epic and is trending.

That and the new Mass Effect's probably what's gonna push me into getting a Ps4.

Sony had a stronger showing of games though, but neither company showed me anything that truly made me go, "OMG THIS IS THE BEST CONFERENCE EVER!!"

However, GTAV and The Last of US on next gen, Arkham Knight, Unity, Far Cry 4, Uncharted 4, Mortal Kombat X, Sunset Overdrive, and several of the indie titles all look down right fantastic.

I don't see Halo: the Master Chief collection and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare on that list :p

I'm not a Halo fan and Call of Duty hasn't had a good game since the original Modern Warfare. After that game, they started focusing on multiplayer and half assing the single player story. In fact, I am tired of military shooters in general.

Well that left a lot to be desired... I give Nintendo's conference a C. The new Zelda games looks down right amazing but they showed us nothing on any games we really did not already know about. Where is a new Metroid? A brand new IP that isn't an online multiplayer? The Robot Chicken skits between segments was cool, but overall, this was a let down.

I'd give it a B solely because I wasn't bored to the point of actually closing the tab. The Zelda games looked fun, I'm always curious to learn about Smash, and the new IPs looked alright.
Yeah, no new Metroid was disappointing, but meh. That's not going to make or break anything.

The Robot Chicken sketches during Nintendo's conference were absolutely hilarious. But yeah, for the most part, I was pretty bored.

I thought it was okay. I liked what little we saw of Zelda, but Xenoblade Chronicles X is honestly what stood out to me the most. Xenoblade was one of my favorite Wii games so I'm really excited for this one.

As much as I am excited for the stuff Sony showed, nothing really grabbed except Order 1886. I want like 7 more Nintendo Games and want a Wii U so badly now.

Now if KH3 or FFXV stuff was shown then maybe my opinion might be different. Though the Playstation TV does look awesome.

The Smash announcements got me excited, and I'm looking forward to games they've got in the works like the new Zelda...but they didn't show anything that REALLY shook things up.

I think I'll probably buy a WiiU sometime this year...I think there's enough games on it now to justify the cost for me: New Zelda, Smash Bros., Hyrule Warriors, The Wonderful 101, Monster Hunter 3, Sonic Boom, Mario Kart 8, and Star Fox.

Well, I wasn't expecting a Canvas Curse sequel, and while it wasn't in the Nintendo Direct (So, I guess it doesn't count) is the new Star Fox, or Captain Toad. Those were things I didn't expect, but do see your point. Pretty much everyone just gave more details about stuff we already knew about. Nintendo for example; we already knew about Hyrule Warriors, Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, Smash Bros., and XenoBlade Chonicles X.

Super Mario Maker looks neat, especially if there's someway to upload your custom levels online to let other people play them.

Nope, not at all.

While I think the concept of "winning" E3 is beyond stupid, of course a Nintendo fan will say Nintendo "won" because OBVIOUSLY they'll be the most interested in what they show just as a Sony fan will claim "Sony won", I think its really silly to over exaggerate what Nintendo actually gave us.

-Smash Bros showed off 2 new characters. Cool, although nothing exciting. Palutena we've known about for months and the Mii was sort of always going to happen.
-Yoshi's Wooly World. Yoshi's New Island was panned for being absolutely nothing new for the Yoshi series and this looks so similar to the point of Nintendo parodying themselves. Aesthetics and 2-Player is literally the only new things here.
-Mario Maker. Kind of cool, but not a huge reveal.
-Captain Toad. This is insane. The mini-games in SM3DW were painfully boring, I laughed at the people who were like "these are so good they deserve their own game" because they really didn't. But now they are.
- Zelda U. We've known about this since the Wii U launch and the Direct really didn't give us much to go on.
-Pokemon AR OS. Nothing new here.
-Hyrule Warriors. Midna, but otherwise nothing new. A pretty tall claim about "every Zelda character being in" was made but I'm betting Skull Kid, Deku Link, Zora and Goron will assuredly not be here.
-Splatoon. The only truly new game shown, but it really wasn't particularly exciting.
-Star Fox U. Possibly awesome but so little was shown it barely counts.

Hell the best part about the Nintendo E3 was a Mario Kart DLC leak that turned out to be fake. It was a very disappointing E3 and definitely not what Nintendo needed to save the Wii U's dwindling sales.

Screw GTAV, Uncharted 4 sealed the purchase for me but I'll wait until Batman and it get a little closer to release date.

I'll buy a Ps4 once the wave of "remastered" last-gen ports stops being the biggest releases of the year.

My biggest problem with Sony's conference (and Microsofts) was that most of the games they showed were things that can be played on other systems. The ones you bought especially, not only can they be played on the last-gen systems, but you could upgrade your PC for a similar price and play them in better quality on that.

In my opinion, that's why Nintendo did better. At least their games are things unavailable elsewhere. For the record though, I'm not trying to shout "NINTENDO WINS" because that's absolutely going to depend on your taste in games. Microsoft and Sony had some cool stuff, just not enough that I can't already play on my PC.

Zelda was easily my favourite game of the show though, no matter how brief the showing was. Especially if the rumours about the main character prove true.

Well, Destiny is coming out first on PS4 Farcry 4 is also an exclusive, as is Uncharted. They showed plenty you can only get on those systems, and I doubt MGS 5 is going to be on PC.

There are a few things with that though. I get where you are coming from, but the reason Nintendo showed games that aren't going to be on any other system is because no one else is really supporting the Wii U, which I think is worse than having a game you can play on other places.

Secondly, Sony showed us a lot of first party titles. Uncharted 4, ANBU, The Order, LBP3, and then Bloodborne is PS4 exclusive. MS did show Halo, Crackdown 3, and Sunset Overdrive, all exclusive to them.

Third, Nintendo's conference was barely 45 minutes, the other two companies had a 90 minute conference. In fact, if you cut out all of the pointless skits and talk, Nitnendo really only showed games for about 20 minutes while MS showed games for about 70 minutes and Sony for 65 minutes.

Finally, I am not a PC gamer. Never have been never will be. I find that there is too much maintenance involved to be one because you have to always keep a check on viruses, have the settings optimized to the fullest, unplug the tower from one part of the apartment and take it to the TV to plug it into the TV, have the internet always on because games are DRMed, you can't sell a PC game if you don't like it, etc. Plus, I see no difference in graphics between a PC game and a PS4 game. Oh, and Sony is one of my favorite gaming companies, so I cannot play their games on PC. There is no God of War, Uncharted, or Twisted Metal on the PC.

Nevertheless, that is why I think the gamers won E3. Every company showed games for everyone and for almost every type of genre.
