This episode cemented Micchy as my favorite character in this show. I genuinely felt bad for him, even if he was a manipulative traitor and cowardly. Urobuchi did a good job of making him a confused kid trying to get by in a cruel world.

As for the rest of the episode, I think everyone's covered it pretty well. Almost certain that Kouta will be revived next episode by the sheer power of Toei requiring at least one main Rider suit scene per episode, but I'm hoping that it's more than the typical MacGuffin route taken by Kamen Rider in the past.

I can see Jam being a crossover villain, but I'm still hopeful considering we had Drivers dropping all over the place this episode.

Suddenly having Takatora be alive despite the fact that we saw him sink to the bottom of the fucking ocean would completely ruin the impact of his deaths scene and overall be a blow to the shows quality.

This episode was awesomely awesome because my two favorite gaim riders, baron and duke,fought each other. Duke got the shit kicked out of him and overlord kaito is cool reminds me of a fangire.

Wow, I love Kouta so much because I would do the same. I would sacrifice myself to help save one of my friends. I feel so bad for Micchy he fucked up so badly everywhere that he killed his brother, his best friend, and the woman he loved. Everything he did was for nothing, he fucked up so badly that it cost him everything. Welcome to rock bottom Micchy, you can only go up from here. Ryouma was a fucking dick with his kill switch, but I am glad Lord Baron took care of him. Kaito is fucking badass, and insane I loved his line about Hase too. Man I love the supporting cast of this show everyone is so amazing. It's great to finally learn about Mai and what she was and what she said. I hope she tries to fix the timeline again.

I suspect Jam will only appear in the rumored post-story crossover episode 47 and has no bearing on the actual plot.

I think he will serve double duty as final villain and Crossover villain.

Just watched the subbed and it was worth seeing Ryouma die again.

I loved this ep. I hope what happened at the end stays happened and doesn't get retconned, because... okay, this is just my guess/hope, but the ending sort of leaves it open for Marika to jaaaaaam. If y'know what I mean.

Well, that episode certainly delivered the goods. Can't say I was expecting any of that. Also - going back in time and kinda making things worse for yourself? Good going Homura-Mai :lol

BUT, and I've been meaning to say this for a while now, I'm so done with Minato as a character now. She's gone from being a pretty badass female Rider to just latching herself on to the strongest male character near her. I'm not denying she's better than almost every other female rider we've had, but she's still a long way off being a strong female character.

I doubt they are going to do a crossover. They don't have time for one. With all of the crossovers already, they have already taken away from the story telling of the series. Don't ruin the ending with one.

Yeah, she has done absolutely nothing for the last 20 episodes, and it kind of brings me back to my fears that they only had her on the show for one thing, and one thing only, fanservice. It sucks because she started out with high potential, but as usual in these types of shows, they get lazy and throw that potential out of the window. Thankfully, there isn't much in the way of wasted potential here (Gridon being another one of them though).

I love how they still have a good few episodes to finish off the plot well. Kaito has 3 more episodes of being an Overlord. He finally got the ass kicking power his character has been hungering for. This should be good.

Sagara is such a troll...

So I still don't quite get what was up with the time travelling... If that was in fact Mai from the future we were seeing in previous episodes, and we saw her travel to those points in this one... Why couldn't she control what she said? That doesn't make sense to me.

Sagara stated exactly why in this episode. She couldn't fully control the power and wasn't capable of using it properly. He told her he wasn't ever sure she'd actually come across properly to who she was speaking to. And she didn't. The general gist of what she was saying was there, but the personal aspect was lost in the transition.

Oh, I caught that line. It just... doesn't make sense still. I know we're talking about a show with magical fruit armor, but the logic doesn't follow here. For me. I just don't get how you could not be in control of what you say to such an extent.

Well, there's a scientific theory called cosmic censorship, which states that if you go back in time and try to change the past, the universe will find a way to make sure you don't do anything to the natural timeline. So Mai was probably just being played by the cosmos in mode she couldn't change nothing.

Sometimes in fiction time is immutable no matter what you do (and sometimes you're even the cause of it). Sagara does give a brief explanation saying how not only is time incredibly hard to change but trying to do so through information will jumble your words. There's tons of time travel theories you could look up and apply to this situation but I wouldn't take it too far as over thinking time travel can give me a headache

I heard a rumor KR Jam was a final boss for Gaim at the end. Episode 46 is the actual episode where it all ends. 47 is a team-up like they did at the end of Wizard which made no sense at all.

I think it might be from the fact that Episode 46 is Gen Urobuchi's last written episode for Gaim. Someone else is writing 47.

people tend to call their favorite series "the best 'insert word here' series ever!!!"
is it annoying? HELL YEAH IT IS but most people do it at some point. The phrase "best series ever!!!" is largely just subjective anyway so I'd take it with a grain of salt when ever it is spoken or written.

Anywho I really liked this episode it really made feel sorry for Micchy the poor dumb bastard.

Whether or not Jam is a tie-in rider on the other hand is something you'll have to judge for yourself. Having read the episode summaries to the end, I'm fairly sure about Jam's role even though it doesn't talk about him at all.

That still doesn't make it a fact then that episode 47 is not the last episode to the story. You are just assuming. Sure, it would make sense, but you have no actual proof.
