I loved this episode. The war from the opening of the show is not used as the actual ending, but still acknowledged in a way that makes sense (WAY better than what Decade tried to do). I've been waiting for a Bravo vs. Marika fight for a long time, and it was so cool to see that finally happen. Too bad it ended kinda abruptly. Also, looks like Zack's making his was into the spotlight, and every time I see Overlord Kaito he looks even cooler.

If what most people are saying about Micchy being the hero of Gaim, I wonder how Micchy will become the hero in the end?

I'm feeling that Micchy will come to Kouta's aid during a fight with Kaito, Yoko, and Zack. It works as a redemption, and it at least places him somewhere now that there are only two parties at play. That does feel very cliché though.

Think Zack's Trap is to destroy Kaito's Sengoku Driver once and for all. It'd stop him from Henshin and Feedin' after all (Not sure he knew the food part from Kouta)
I think it fails thanks to Yoko but you can see the blade of Kaito's drive away from the ground on the floor (in-preview) so you can see my point |

Hey look guys, Kaito's gone….bannas, again! *Runs out of the thread*
So does anyone know how old Yoko's suppose to be in the show? The character I mean not the actor. I dunno, given how she's always looking at him with that gleam in her eyes, I find I get weird vibes from it. |

I'm super late, but I finally caught up on the most recent two episodes.
God, I was so happy to see Ryoma die last episode, brought such a smile to my face. And then Kaito revealed he's doing all this for the most stupid fucking reason I've ever heard made me want to chew my own face off. God, Mai really is the center of this universe. Not only that, but I lost my favorite rider and acorn-boy, and Marika continues to prove how she's one of the very worst female characters in Kamen Rider history. Jesus, Gaim's ups and downs aren't intense because they're dramatic, but because the story goes from genuinely interesting and jaw dropping to one of the worst I've encountered... |
All my speculation on why Micchy will be the hero:
- Micchy's actor revealed he has his own song which hasn't had its debut yet but he calls it the penultimate conclusion for his character - Sagura tells Mai that those in the "first episode battle" are the four main chosen warriors who could win the fruit - she is the one who assumes its down to Kouta and Kaito, but Micchy is still alive (and his ghost brother with him) - There's an image floating around with Micchy's actor wearing a blonde wig in what looks like the green room - Micchy's character has gone from being evil to realizing he was being evil to now needing redemption ... without the final piece, his character will never have the ending that every other character who has finished their main story has had. - - Kouta, Kaito, Minato, Zack will have their character finales soon - - Sid and Ryouma started as and died as villains, though they were not labeled as such until much later in their own stories (both died going for the golden fruit) - - Oren went from being a douchebag villain on teaching the kids what real fighting is to not only helping Jonouchi become a fighter, but now fighting with the kids and believing in them - - Jonouchi went from a bumbling coward to a bumbling hero - - Hase went from wanting power, to losing power, to grasping for it and dying as a foreshadow to all those who want power in this show - - Takatora went from misguided villain to redeeming hero (like how Micchy needs to), and serves as Micchy's subconscious Just wait. MICCHY FOR HERO |

There isn’t really much time to transform Mitsuzane into the "hero". I expect he will return as Ryugen one last time to either protect the other ones from the Inves or to take a final blow for Kouta and die, but that's it. Also I remember one interview where his actor strictly wished for Mituszane to not be redeemed, he has done crimes that cant be forgotten, even if Kouta forgives him. |
I'd be fine if Micchy wasn't redeemed explicitly. It's much nicer to have his character to be seen as redeemed or not in the eyes of the viewer, not have the show tell us that he deserves to be good now.

I like Mai as a blonde, makes her look a bit more attractive.
Moving onto the episode, it was very, very nice. Shit continues to get real and that makes it all the better. It's hard to believe that we're almost done with series. |
Well, things are certainly progressing towards the conclusion what with Kaito declaring he'll destroy the world. Nice to finally an explanation to the opening scene of the series. In retrospect I feel kinda silly for taking that as gospel for future events. Oren vs. Minato was great and somewhat overdue fight. To go this long without the two professional asskickers of the series clash is a bit of shame. It was a bit odd for Marika to come out of Ryoma's Driver, but considering it was Ryouma's Driver who knows what other cheats were built in. Sad to see Bravo and Gridon go, but I suppose it's to be expected at this point. Zach sides with Kaito in what looks like an attempt to stop him, we'll see how that plays out.
