I quite like playing on my Xbone. In fact, I found a pink sheep in my Xbone world! It just spawned right next to my house. I was dumb and didn't lock it away somewhere safe, though, and I think it's since been eaten by a wolf...
Anyone else playing on the Xbone? I could sure use somebody to boost the Diamonds to you! Achievement. |

Ugh, an update that was rolled out for the Xbone version seems to have broken my game... (Meanwhile I haven't experienced any of the game breaking bugs it's supposed to fix but whatever.)
I can load to the main menu and hit start game.. but then that's it. It leaves me on the world loading screen, perpetually loading, and won't respond to any input to back out. I can exit to the dash and quit the app. But restarting it doesn't fix anything. |

I couldn't uninstall it either... It was being weird.
After unplugging the Xbox to do a cold start, it worked. But somehow my local save was out of sync with the cloud save? No idea how or what was off (it only gives the date, not time, so that's not at all actually helpful if they're the same date), but went with cloud anyways... Didn't notice anything wrong. Also, thank god for being able to disable autosave and the fact that the console version doesn't autosave after a death like the PC one. Freaking lava... |

A Creeper wandered into my base and blew up all of my goddamn fucking chests. So rather than scramble to pick things up again, I just quit the game after disabling autosave to try and recover. And when I went back into my world, it HAD already saved AND everything despawned! Even though I did this in a matter of seconds. :( |

Levers are no better than having nothing at all, since it's just as easy to forget to flip them. And they're unsightly. Pressure plates are useless because mobs can activate them too. I'm perfectly fine with just ordinary doors. I simply did not have any where I was yet. I genuinely hate the "dude use doors" argument, since it's given so freaking much. Gee, like I didn't already know that. Shit still happens. |

I got so much done in this new world. I have a nice home, I created snow and iron golem and encased them in glass in case of an emergency, I built a Nether Portal using the bucket method (Which was easy as hell), and now I'm working on getting the On a Rail trophy.

I did find a mineshaft though. The rails from there will help a lot. I think I've recovered pretty well from the mishap the other day; found 28 diamonds in one dig last night alone. :3 Still haven't made up for my lost emeralds or Ender pearls (ugh I'll never find a stronghold at this rate). But what I really want to do is find a Nether Fortress. Because there's soooo many Achievements that have their root in getting Blaze Rods. And I just cannot for the life of me find one. |
So I'm screwed. Went to the Nether, lost where I put the portal, and can't get home.

I found all four edges of it (wow is the Nether small) and not one hint at a Fortress. At all. I spent hours in there. Even reset my Nether a few times thinking it actually did anything, until I realized it just kept generating the exact same Nether (so... not all that useful. Why is it still a thing?? I get the help after fortress were introduced, but if it does nothing now... it's just kind of misleading.). I eventually made a new world with the same seed and entered the Nether at the same point as my survival world. And eventually found a fortress. One. I'm used to there being multiple easier-than-this to find ones thanks to PC, ugh... And only half of the hallway is exposed. The rest of it is inside netherrack mountains! I made my first thing and I wish I could share it. I made a giant Knight Steve from the first Beasts pack. Made it out of wool and added a few 3d details to set it apart including a shield on his back. Next I want to try making an in-scale Enderman.

I just bought Minecraft on PS3/Vita! It's good so far, I'm in survival mode, just crafting early materials and oogling over the cool stuff I can get later on. Portable minecraft that's not annoying because of smartphones is really cool.
And if you're asking, my laptop can't run games for shit, so no superior PC version for me. |

That's sadly not surprising considering Turkey's Prime Minister Erdogan banned Twitter for a few weeks because in his opinion it was a site used only to talk bad about him. The whole government is pretty terrible when it comes to accepting new forms of media, not surprised they handle videogames the same way.
But I live in a country that censors and confiscates videogames on a daily basis so... yeah. |

Just got back into the 360 version and wonderfully surprised how much they were able to add.
Yeah, the map is still pretty small, but I'm ok with it as long as a decent biome spawns. |

Finally decided to try the game in Survival mode instead of goofing off in creative, so I made an entirely new world for just that. Holy shit this game is so much fun. I found diamond, but my dumbass got lost and fell in lava....
But I am now 1 ingot and 2 more gold blocks away from a Tower of Pimps. Just need to find three diamonds so I can make a pickaxe to mine Obsidian. Also, I really need to memorize the landscapes of my mines better. Spend 20 minutes tryin to find the exit. |
