I found the part with Kouta just putting everything on some random planet a little strange, but otherwise, I really liked the ending. Very happy to see that they didn't just reset the timeline.

Good ending, but I feel like it fell a little flat. I'm glad that there wasn't a reset button pushed and everything returned to episode one. Kouta and Mai just packing up the new family and heading to the edge of the universe seemed anti-climatic. I kept waiting for something else to happen, but then we got the 3 months later and that was that.

Also, I don't remember, but is there nobody left that remembers that Hase is dead? Poor Jounoichi is going to keep on going thinking he is out there.

IMO, Helheim is a never ending cycle. It shows up on a world to help force it into evolution. Kouta was the first Chosen One to figure out how to save his world and let the evolution happen, but we heard of one other society so I could be wrong. Kouta made the decision to go with Mai to another planet and start from scratch, rather than the easy way of just painting over the current one.

Loved, loved, LOVED this episode. I love how this series basically has no true villain. The closest thing you get to a main, true villain is Helheim itself, but it's really just a force of nature carrying out a necessary process for evolution to take place. All of the truly evil individuals in this storyline fall short of being a serious threat on their own and were really just pawns in the much grander scheme of someone (or something) who isn't actually an all-out villain.

Very glad that they didn't use Reset Timeline from Ryuki

I think Kaito was True Main Antagonist because he always think the weak have to killed whileStrong live but in the end, he was killed by Kouta.

Anyway. I think the next episode will be like The Amazing Spider-Man 2 because Kamen Rider Jam is basically Rhino (yes i call Jam "Rhino" because he appear at last second) and causing Kouta to appear to stop him or her

TV tropes is notorious for making things up. In this case we have no current confirmation on who Jam is. If it turns out to be that woman then I'd say they got it right by pure coincidence.

But the best part was when Sagara essentially authorized "Hey Kouta, you can bang Mai as much as you want, cause you're gonna make a bunch of Overlord babies for your new world."I'd like to see a movie maybe 20 or so years down the road where old man Kouta gives his Driver to his son to become Neo-Gaim or something.

Am I the only person who's ever wondered how long those things can last without regular maintenance? I mean all Drivers, not just the Sengoku Drivers.

I don't know. Considering the oldest techonological belt that doesn't show up when a cyborg changes body in Rider is probably Faiz's belt? And considering in KRT, Takumi hasn't gotten that used that thing much over the past 10 years and hasn't gotten it maintenanced due to Smart Brain no longer being around yet works perfectly, they last a pretty a damn long time.

So basically....add a dash of Den-O to the amalgamation of Rider shows that Gaim already is?

I love that Zack and Takatora are alive. Especially seeing Zack back and that he wanted Micchy to join him even after everything was just another reason with that forgiveness and heart that he's my favorite character from Gaim. Kouta's transformation into the Man of the beginning was interesting I don't feel that this did much but I like that he got rid of the bad guys without destroying them. Kaito's death was pointless honestly he did really have to die, he could have knocked him out like what Kaito did to Zack. I feel bad for Micchy and was honestly disappointed, I wanted him to redeem himself and help Kouta but nope nothing, I am glad that he has Takatora back to help him and hopefully he has some sort of Redemption next week. I wonder if Kouta will become Gaim again next week or if someone else is Gaim. I loved Jonouchi and Oren's scene they ended up as some of my favorite characters. Honestly Zack, Jonouchi, and Oren are my favorites. I'll wait till next week to see what happens honestly, I hope Kaito comes back to life and the others maybe too next week.

Kaito's path would have ended only in destruction for both himself and everything around him. He made this much clear throughout the entire series. Even if he had survived, he was still an Overlord-Human hybrid- There would be no place for him on our world, and he'd never accept a place in Kouta's. Being put down was about the best thing that could happen to him, much as I hate to say it.

Wow Kaito is weak as shit, Kouta gets smacked around and abused like all fucking get out and he still can kill his sorry ass.

Kouta should have not killed him, he had a future if Kouta became exactly how he did but Kaito lived; one of two options were available for him: 1. Kouta using the power of the apple fixes him or 2. Kouta trusts Kaito to lead the world that he sent the Inves too so both of them end how they want. Kouta should have broke his sword and threw away the blade and then probably created the Kurumi Bomber and punched him in the head so he'd be knocked out cold (Which would have been great symbolism of using Zack's weapon). Other options that could have happened that would have been great: Micchy learning to actually accept Kouta's forgiveness or have a start to try and help Kouta, returns and helps Kouta fight and hell even add the possibility of Zack getting Minato's Genesis Driver and becoming a male Peach Rider or becoming a new Duke joining Kouta and Micchy in this ending which would have shown that Kouta won the fight without killing Kaito with the help of his friends which would have shown Kaito that Mai's way of strength she said earlier was more powerful than Kaito's version of strength which comes from himself. There was absolutely no reason Kouta should have killed Kaito, he didn't kill Micchy who was his friend and was way more off the deep end than Kaito who was misguided. Was was Kaito? Off the deep end and misguided it, was the same situation again and instead of dropping his own weapon this time he impaled it through his friend. Honestly I think less of Kouta for this. Unless Kaito comes back some way in the next episode this really hurt Gaim for me. I'll see though after next week. Honestly Micchy, Takatora, Jonouchi, Zack and hell even Oren evolved the most so far out of this series if you see them from beginning to end. Kouta is still the same pretty much just knowing what he wanted, and Kaito didn't really change by the end. Honestly I really wanted Micchy to win the Golden Fruit and sacrifice himself to help save everyone and fix the world because he was the human one left out of the 3 rather than having Overlord vs Overlord for which Overlord won.

You shouldn't fix some one that dosen't wanna be fix'd or chose their own path, and as far I'm concern with Kaito he doesn't wanna be fixed.

Kouta was the only person that should have killed Kaito. Kouta was the future that Kaito wanted, he was a person that kept gaining power and then didn't trample the weak. This is why I felt Kaito was accepting of his defeat, because he went out according to his own rules.

Nah, Kaito's ideals just got progressively more extreme as he was issued with more power. He was always going to head in that direction.

Pretty much, yeah. I don't think Kouta could have just knocked Kaito out or something because Kaito was never going to let this end without his own death. Even if Kouta incapacitated him and claimed the Golden Fruit, Kaito would just keep coming back and trying to kill him.

And after the series ended, Gaim is now a god.

How will future crossover movies feature Kouta now without a lame copout excuse for nerfing him?
