Honestly, the message I'm getting here is that because Bandai has nearly run out of Heisei items, they would rather give us repaints of figures released in 2014 and monsters from other series rather than do Showa Godzilla movies. They must really disdain the Showa era THAT much.

But seriously, why haven't they made those figures? The suit looks amazing and they released GoseiKnight...it's ridiculous.

I'm not going to read that far into one upcoming figure and one probable display piece that never gets an actual release. It also does Showa no favors that its only MonsterArts representative sold as poorly as it did. Partially, deservedly so, but Mosu-Goji's flaws weren't severe enough to merit as much of the overwhelming disdain that it received.

Now if only we could get some of the other henshin heroes :lol

Gavan, Sharivan and Shaider are the only Space Sheriffs. The rest are their own things.

I wonder if since they're (maybe) putting out the rest of the Showa bikes, if they'll do the same with the Heisei bikes in the future or maybe reissue some. I'd love a chance to get a Machine Tornador for under a $100 and I would squeal like a little girly pig for a Side Basshar or a proper Ride Vendor.

I'd be really surprised if it gets released... It just seems so pointless. It doesn't represent anything in the movie and to use one poster out of many that had a red filter to it as inspirations seems silly to me. It does look cool, but there's really no point to it..

Agreed. Now the atomic breath Godzilla is something I can get behind, assuming they fix the whole mouth paint issue the regular version has. I think I'll hold off on any MA until that version get's a release, or something else comes along anyway.

But yet Tamashii Nation keeps on giving Ultraman and Kamen Rider Showa love. Even Super Sentai is starting to get more Showa love then Godzilla. You would think the most iconic suit designs from that era would get made into SHMA figures by now.

I hope they work on the eyes on Kikaider REBOOT, he doesn’t have lines in his eyes, they look more like lava. Otherwise he looks great, even though they might not be able to fit in all the little paint-details on his open brain.

...probably because they're NOT doing the toQger.

Maybe it could be that those two shows have a lot of nostalgia value to the fans in Japan. I guess ToQger is like Goseiger where is not very popular with the older fan base and Tamashii most likely feels like that they won't sell well. If Sentai is getting more Showa love then I hope Bioman or JAKQ is later down the line. Big One is one my favorite Showa ranger designs, he will be a day one buy for me.

The colored effects like most effects displayed at these types of shows are likely just for promotion purposes not for production and sale. And those Tiga's are all based on the Renewal.
