Not a huge fan of this series, but I'm glad they're getting made so they can get into a lot of collections.

I know nothing about this era of Kamen Rider, but I like the suit. It really highlights the grasshopper motif without going too realistic like with Shin and I like the built-in "belt" design

I've never watched the movie, but I've always been rather fond of ZO's suit. His lack of a belt, along with J and Shin, always gave him a neat contrast to the rest of the riders.

I really like something about the lines on this guy. It just looks like a nice design. No weapons is a little odd, but he still looks like he's worth getting.

Why would ZO have weapons?

ZO has no weapons. Why on Earth would he include any?

To me, ZO is by far the most tempting of the Showa-era Riders: that is one sleek design.

Also, I was so excited to see your photo of the accessory creatures and realize I have all but ZO's. I don't know why this made me insanely happy, but it does.

I'm surprise most people here haven't watch the 90's Rider films. It feels sad that most American rider fans have no interest in the riders from Shotaro Ishinomori. When I became a Kamen Rider fan, I wanted to see anything that I can put my hands on.

I don't know much about ZO but I like that he still kinda has the old school KR aesthetic. It might be a pass for me because of unfamiliarity with the source material and his lack of interesting accessories (but hey, if that's what the source calls for it's cool). I think that grasshopper is adorable though.

For me, it's that I really didn't like the Showa-era Rider suits; I think they're the primary reason I totally ignored Kamen Rider for so long. I really only started paying attention to Kamen Rider when I saw the Super Hero Time bumpers before Shinkenger and Goseiger. They made me really curious because they looked absolutely nothing like what I thought of as Kamen Rider.

I'm just not often drawn to older TV or movies. Some of it's production quality, some of it's things like gender roles. (In Jetman, White Swan set my teeth on edge.) I'll probably give in and watch Kamen Rider Black RX eventually, but I don't know that I'll dig that far back into Showa.

ZO was closer to the era switch, wasn't it? It certainly looks that way. So far, I only know him from getting his rear end handed to him in the Rider crossovers I've seen.
