It's really quite odd.
The videos and trailers get me interested and pumped to check out the series.
The magazine pics and reveals make me just raise my eyebrow and go "Seriously?"

This is the first time a series can both grab me and lose me without even having begun.

That amazing and maybe they'll use that logic to just let Saban skip what ever seasons it wants as long as it gets Shout Factory to release all the Super Sentai subtitled.

and bison king looks awesome

not sure about king shuriken-jin though looks odd? i think it's the giant hat with bull horns... yes that is where i draw the line of weird LOL

Just speculation at this point. We know nothing about the character yet. For all we know he could just be some japanese guy who is insanely obsessed with american culture.

Pretty sure that's intentional. Toei is paying homage to past Sentai seasons this year. From the random mecha to the characters, it all starts to make sense. It's subtle, but the nods to the past are on purpose.
