Why is there also a SEPARATE tokusatsu which also used "Kyoryu Sentai" in the title outside of Zyuranger?

I believe the name is "Kyoryu Sentai Koseidon" or something to that effect.

I probably misspelling Koseidon, but it's as close as I remember.

The only explanation I can come to is that the earlier show, which has NO relation to Super Sentai, did their thing and Toei was able to adapt the name either because they complained about the use of "Sentai" or the license for the earlier show's use of "Sentai" expired. This theory is formulated with the understanding that Toei did not produce/own Koseidon.

Of note, these two aren't the only times that "Kyoryu Sentai" was used to define someone or a group of someones in a Japanese franchise.

The Dinoforce from Transformers Victory is also referred to as "Kyoryu Sentai"!

Who first started the annoying shouting transformation devices/weapons in Toku?

It was somewhere in the Heisei Era.

I think Ryuki was the first to have talking henshin and weapon announcements.

This was my thought. But I can't think of where it became annoying. XD

The answer is again Ryuki. The bad Engrish is what gets me although sometimes it's funny like OOOs. I'm sure theres some that I didn't mind.

Was the Kikaider Reboot Movie ever available in the States? I feel like it was in some capacity, but I don't remember the specifics!

Did someone know other good show apart from the usual KR-sentai-Ultra-Garo?

I know it's pretty much tradition for the franchise, but does anybody know why the Garo series prefer to use the suits less and less? I always thought the suit was too heavy but certain episodes of original series (Garo VS Zero) and Makai Senki (Garo & Dan VS Baron) proved otherwise.

Don't get me wrong I love the out of suit fights, but seeing the actual suits in action is so good. Guess it's for the budget and time constraints.

Daimajin Kanon was a really great show from about 5-6 years ago. It was made by a lot of the same people who worked on Kamen Rider Hibiki and is very similar in tone. It’s more of a drama than an action show, but it’s a good story with likable characters.

I’m also a big fan of Metalder from the Metal Heroes franchise. That was a really fun show with some great suit designs from a very pre-Garo Keith Amemiya.

There’s also Zubat, which is a fantastic 70s toku starring Hiroshi Miyauchi, aka Kamen Rider V3, Aoranger, and Big One. You still see homages to that series in modern shows, including a very direct one in Ultraman X.

Sazer X, the last of the Choseishin series was decent. It had Samurai Calibur's voice actor from SSSS Gridman, Ankh from Kamen Rider OOO, and the voice actor of Barizorg from Gokaiger as a trio of superheroes who fight aliens, pilot animal-themed spaceships, and collect the infinity gems of the show the cosmo capsules. Also Ramirez/Kyoryu Cyan's actor is a supporting member. Rescue Force and Rescue Fire was somewhat fun. I also encourage watching Ryukendo. That is a fun one too.

But the first appearance was in a Movie, and many others prior to Decade appeared as an Alternate Universe Version IN Decade!

I kept mistakenly thinking Kamen Rider Kiva-la appeared on TV because of Kiva-la Bat being on TV until I realized that she debuted in Movie Taisen. My bad. :lolol
As for True Brave I was hesitant to consider it a unique rider but looking back yeah you're right since it is a seperate entity.

I don’t think I’d count Riotroopers or Mages since they’re more glorified mooks than proper Kamen Riders.

I dont mind, I just kept them because adding them would absurdly increase the number of riders for laughs. :lolol

How is doing Juspion blu-ray sales ?

Many have probably seen by now that Makio Inoue has passed away, known for Goemon in Lupin III and Captain Harlock.

He was also the voice of Zabitan in Akumaizer 3.

Akumaizer 3 were re-imagined during the Heisei Era as Kamen Rider Villains!

The 2017 Bravestorm Movie is now available in the West, but I have no idea what to expect.

It's based on Silver Mask and Red Baron, and I can't remember anything specific about either of them.

The images I'm seeing of Bravestorm make me think of Pacific Rim in terms of visuals.

Anyone know much of the film, and the two series it's based on?

I forgot about that movie! I don't know anything about Silver Mask, but Super Robot Robot Red Baron is a pretty fun show. You can probably still get the DVDs cheap on Amazon.

Beetleborgs could had been better if had a similar plot from B-fighter.

It's the symptom of being 90s. That is why people don't take Power Rangers seriously because they are very, very 90s.

I wish could exist more original american toku today.

I give Bettleborg some credit for trying to be original and different. I like it over MMPR, but that's not saying much.

There's potential for it, but as things stand right now, it seems American children's programming is more about comedy, rather than action. I think, aside from Power Rangers, the only consistent action show is Ninja Turtles.

Maybe once a new wave of action shows prove profitable once again, we could see some original toku series.

I really disliked Beetleborgs when I tried to rewatch it, but I do have to admit when I was younger, I adored Beetleborgs. For every 1 PR toy my brother and I had, we had 3 Beetleborg toys :lol
