Anyone feel like the Ghost Change series feels similar to the Gaim Arm Change series. Maybe it's just me, but the gimmick on how you put on the hoddies feels similar. However I'm probably wrong though.

No, I'd definitely agree. The Arms from Gaim are the closest analogue for the Damashii in Ghost that you can find in the franchise, in my opinion. Not only in how they look but definitely in the way the toys work.

After how Drive's toy sales where low, I can see why Bandai wants to do a similar gimmick for Ghost.

I got my Ghost Driver from Mandarake, along with some Gaim stuff. So it worked out. I definitely hope that's the heaviest we get in this line lol.

Yikes. Yeah, estimated shipping from one seller on Mandarake is like 5000 yen, plus the price of the Driver itself being around 6000. I might as well buy the damn thing on Amazon at that point.

Yeah, the shipping is the reason I never considered buying the Driver at another store. Even if I could find it cheaper than hlj (meaning amiami, which sells out fast and wasn't that much cheaper) it would still cost me way more to ship things separately.

If it's Sahra, they can sometimes be a bit high I think due to being spot sale. I bought the Ghost Driver, Sengoku Driver, and Cherry DX Lock Seed from Complex & shipping was 6100 EMS. The Ghost Driver is pretty big, but it helps if you can bundle some things together.

I remember back when I got my sengokudriver off Mandarake. It was 4000, threw a Figuarts in there for 1000, but for some reason, they let me go with sal for 2280. Cheapest I ever got a belt for.

Yeah, international shipping can quirky. I got a packaged recently that was R-Sal but was as fast as EMS. That's never happened to me before. Then the R-Sal package that shipped before it still hasn't reached America, lol. I really love EMS, but I try to always buy multiple things so it is more affordable overall.

Funny enough, I got EMS for the Robin Eyecon and GC02 cause I could afford it at the time :lolol. I just wanted the Eyecon in hand lol. I wavered all weekend but settled on EMS for my Hobby Search order. I just want the Robin stuff in hand, haha. I love the Condor Phone! It's so clever. It seems like most of us have found a Ghost Driver, so that's good. Is it safe to say Ghost is starting out with strong toy sales? Seems good.

I think in regards to spectre's stuff, I'll just get a gash version of his personal Eyecon, but the DX versions of his form changes. Which kinda works out with the Machine Hoodie since it turns into the Hoodie Parka Ghost, since I'm collecting those too. Well, just the form changes. Didn't grab GC01 since I'll just wait for the inevitable Figuart

One thing I never collect are the DX figures. Anything I get in order to get Henshin toys I'll just sell. They're cool, but I stick with Figuarts and don't want to double up. lol.

I'm most excited about the Ghost Gadgets. That's what really pulled me into the line. Everything is really cool.

I wasn't interested in the Ghost Change stuff at first, but I mostly just want the parka ghosts now. Having a bunch of floating hoodies laying around just sounds like fun times.

I'm not terribly interested in the actual base figures though, so I dunno if I'm gonna get either Ghost or Specter, at least not yet. I want their hoodies, but them...eh. For those I'm definitely more interested in the figuarts. Maybe if they are really cheap in the aftermarket...

I'm definitely getting Boost though, I don't think we'll see the Boost forms get figuarts anytime soon and I need a Ryoma. I'll probably do the same for Necrom if Grimm and Sanzo are cool enough, because tertiary Rider alternate forms just sound like crazy pipe dreams as far as figuarts go...

For anyone who go their Ghost Driver from HLJ, how much was EMS shipping on it approximately? Like... exactly how much would I actually save by bundling it with the other items in my warehouse? Is there any way of knowing?

EMS for the Driver alone is 3860. Adding the Saber brings it up to 4420 (the Saber alone would be 2340). At this point adding the 2 Eyecons I have doesn't change shipping at all.

What about the Condor Phone too? I imagine that'd bring it up a little bit. Everything but the Driver will cost 3300 to ship. The Eyecons and Condor alone are 2020...(Haha. It's funny because eyes.)... BUT, AUGH! MATH!...

Alright. So I found this chart from Hobby Search: https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/ems and discovered that HLJ's rates are similar proportionally, but a little bit higher. Adding the weight of all the items, I can estimate it'll be around 5500 yen to ship everything. Maybe a little more, honestly. If that's the case, it means that including the price of the Driver it'll be end up being 11,340; about 95 dollars. 3300 yen is around $28, so if I bought a Driver from AmiAmi the grand total should be something like $104.

TL;DR: Waiting god knows how long for HLJ to backorder will save me about 9 bucks, give or (more likely) take. Now to decide if that's worth it...

I didn't order the phone, so I couldn't say how that would affect it (i was just checking how that worked in my own warehouse). The phone is smaller than the Saber though, so it really shouldn't be much more (the Saber adds what, not even 600 yen?). 5500 sounds about right. Maybe even a little high.

I'm still planning to add the Hand and the first three November Eyecons before I ship mine out, but hopefully considering their size that won't raise shipping very much.

edit: speaking of the Hand, official pics. It looks pretty good, but I have to say the port for the Cobra Mobile is way more conspicuous than I thought it was. Bit of an eyesore.

Also they're only showing it from its left side which means that like they Saber it's bound to have a gross red switch on the other side. Boo.

Specter Eyecon looks pretty good, though. Though it's both a shame and an oddity that, unlike the first scan we saw of him, Specter's Omega Drive isn't actually a Rider Punch. It...would have made sense.

Do we know how big the DX Hand is yet? Because it's MASSIVE in the show. I hope it's at least a little longer than the Saber...

And yeah, the seemingly changed Omega Drive is kind of a bummer.

About the size, the original scans from the catalog do point to it being considerably longer than the Saber. Or at least the box is, though that's still a good place to start guessing...

Why? Why is the Gashapon more accurate than the DX? Why??? I could live with it if all the Robin Hood Eyecons were wrong, but to have just the DX be incorrect is just...awful. The DX are supposed to be the good ones! Man, what even...

Lol. That's kind of funny to me, actually. I will say that even though it's inaccurate, I like the less crammed look of the DX one better regardless.

I think the DX wouldn't look as crunched up as the Gashapon. I mean, just comparing the number on top you can see the Gashapon font is unusually fluffy and just...larger. If the DX had the full name it'd probably look much cleaner and not as crammed.

Which type of Eyecons are identical to the DX ones? I mean which ones also have the glitter face part?
