I made a thread in the marketplace a few days ago, but I figure not as many people regularly go there as they do here. It still concerns a purchase I plan to make so, if it's alright, I'll post in this thread too for good measure...
I want to get the Surprise Future Set for the DX Newton Eyecon, but couldn't care less for the Shift Next Car or Tridoron Key. Does anyone who doesn't plan on collecting the Ghost stuff, and can live without the Eyecon, want these? I'm not sure I want to go in on the set unless I know there's someone who can take these off my hands. I'll make you a good deal. :D

Thanks for the consideration. If nobody here gets back to me, I might just get the set anyway and put the Drive stuff on eBay for pretty cheap.

Oh yeah I have been burning through old EU paperbacks. Just need to grab Dawn of The Jedi Force Storm so I can read through all the pre-republic & old republic books in one go.

IG-88 is so so? I realize they really wanted to give him that stiff droid feel but he needs elbows, and hips that can move outward. But what he has works well enough, the feet & upper torso are great. Though it's kind of a cheat how he holds his guns. He has gummy claw hands but there are little pegs on his wrists that plug in to hold the guns :lol

I bought this on Tuesday, and had to open the gold charger to make sure the sticker was secure. I noticed my parasagun charger on my shelf was loose to so had to open and fix that also (sorry can't remember English name). I have had to do that about four times I think now. I was all for collecting the basic chargers, but my collection ends with gold. I just don't wanna get neurotic over trying to open/getting open the chargers anymore. I think I might still get the mecha. at least the charger packs came with dinos. I just think the quality on the chargers is sad in that aspect.

Lacameno's my favorite of the two. There's just so much stuff you can do with her. Arnval's... OK. She's not really all that versatile, and you can definitely tell she's the first in the line.

I've been working extra hours and that extra/fluid income is coming in hand rather nicely. I just about cleared Den-O of his Ultra-acts (thanks again), Azly of the Megaforce Zords (thanks to you as well), and 2ndSndWve got me started on an Animus (last but not least, thank you). With my interest in Ultra-Acts peaking, I want on eBay looking for my long sought after Zero and managed to find one for well within my acceptable range. I found the First Oder Stormtrooper by chance last night and figured that I might never/rarely find one in the wild.

I'm super stoked I picked up the 2011 NYCC Transformers Prime two pack of Bumblebee and Arcee the other day. Then on further resarch I discovered the the set I bought for $65 sells on Amazon for almost $100. Antique store near me had it and man did I get a steal there.

That Eiji Tsubaraya book is quite good actually. I picked it up last year and really enjoyed it.

Yeah, it seems to be I got it this past weekend at our Alamo Drafthouse's double feature event of Monster Zero and War of the Gargantuas. August was there to host the event and was selling off his book and autographing it.
