Okay, that is a clever way of working around the zord builder feet for Tiger. I like that. I also like that it appears as if the attachment piece for the Phoenix is a lot sturdier than the old one.

I was almost certain this would have female Zord Builder ports. Now, I'm not so certain. This may be the breakaway we've been waiting for...

So the White Tigerzords back legs have to be removed completely for MegaTigerzord?

You knew that last year. I don't keep up with Sentai/Power Ranger news because it's becoming more and more of a disappointment.

I have my other tissues with the line. But yes, yes it is a disappointment. Especially when the original didn't require such nonsense.

One, I didn't buy it. Two, there was speculation regarding the ports on Gryphon and Unicorn, thinking that it too was Zordbuilder only. I'm not sure why Bandai couldn't do the end result of Gryphon and Unicorn in a similar manner with the Tigerzord.

The originals weren't show accurate nor did they have paint and sculpted details.

Sure, I guess it's annoying if you don't like having extra parts lying around for super modes. But, I can't think of too many super modes from that period that DOESN'T require a part or two to be set aside. In this case, it's two extra parts. Definitely not the end of the world to me...but if that ruins a nice, high-quality toy that far exceeds the original in every other way for someone else? Meh. I don't know what to tell them except "Thank you, more for me."

You never intended on buying any of the figures to begin with (If both franchises and the Legacy line as a whole you see as continual disappointments, it's easy to assume that you wouldn't) and you don't follow any of the news that could've told you the limitations beforehand.
Why are you here? You're judging the merits of a toy by it's ability to combine with another toy released a year beforehand?
You don't have the Tigerzord to combine it with, and it seems pretty obvious that you're not getting the Thunder Megazord anyway, so why do you even care? Were you excited about it? Because your statement that you're not following any PR or Sentai news seems to not imply it.

You can do and say whatever you want, but it seems you're being annoyingly toxic. And for what? A toy that you cite as a disappointment for a design flaw of a completely separate toy?

Instead of getting offended by what I have to say about a toy, move on or hell, engage in a conversation and actually ask me my thoughts instead of jumping down my throat just because I don't think the "Legacy" lives up to it's name. There are other people in this very thread that have stated that the removal of legs is lame. Obviously I'm not some single pariah that thinks it is.

And for your information, I *was* excited about it. The Thunderzord Assault Team was my first set of Zords. So there's a bit of nostalgia there. But, I didn't care or bother to pay any sort of attention to the Tigerzord because why concern myself with a Tigerzord if there was no Thunder Megazord for it?

That's not at all what we are saying. No one is saying the Legacy line is perfect. What we don't understand is why you are making a big deal about two feet. If takes 2 seconds to take each one off.

The fact that The Red Dragon Zord's legs go directly into the other zords with no zord builder has offically made this a must by for me even if it costs 200 bucks. For me I not only need a screen accurate version but I need a version of this Megazord that doesn't have its left leg pop off(red dragon zord leg) every time I pick it up.

What are your thoughts on the Thunder Megazord as a standalone toy, as your point of it being a disappointment ties it with the Tigerzord?

If the Red Dragonzord neck and tail could hold position like the Legacy Dragonzord tail when extended, that would be great. The fact that they just go limp? What the hell? Disappointing. I think segmented sections are cool but going limp renders them useless. Seems like a gimmick that was only executed halfway.

The toy looks great but as with all Legacy items, I do think it's overpriced.

Yeah, the more I follow the Legacy Megazords the less and less interested I become in them. They've got so much going for them, but there's always something that makes a release feel less like a premium item aimed at older fans. They really need to chill with the die-cast on future releases, it may sound premium but it's only ever caused problems in my eyes.

The re-release of a $30 Dino Megazord but with metal this time, a Dragonzord who's die-cast bits make it too heavy to function half the time in combinations, and a Tigerzord that sacrifices an accurate combination for zord builder. I love me some zord builder, but belong in a Legacy toy it does not. Titanus seemed alright at least, never got around to picking him up though.
