Ghost must be able to time travel, considering how Newton's already appeared twice, yet he's only been a Ghost for about two weeks. Considering Newton has gravity powers, and gravity can affect time, I say we all blame it on Newton and move on. Or possibly whatever time travel they used back in Surprise Future. Or Decade.
Anyway, Ghost continues to move rapidly, with another form, Spectre, Nobunaga, and some villain stuff all happening in one episode. This is probably going to come to a crashing halt soon, but while it lasts, it's decent enough for me. |

I would not be a happy camper if Decade has anything to do with it. |

I like Decade tbh, the series has issues due to executive meddling from what I have heard, as well as constant changes to the overall script likely due to sales or whatever.
But god damn if I do not utterly love the sound effects and music in the show, the base forms are some of my favorite as well, the final forms are so god damn silly that I just love them. Also I am a bit of a card lover, needless to say I also like Blade. Decades story in the movies and movie wars seem to have become the continuation of the original, and the only canon things that tend to happen entail Decades story. |

Oren can either be a silly character, or a gay character. the reason for this, is because Japan's view on homosexuality is still mixed, so, if the writers were to be directly asked, "is Oren gay" they could easily shrug it off as "no, he's just very silly" it's mainly so they don't get flack. whether Oren is gay or not is up to the viewer, no answer is entirely right or wrong. |

I've gone on about my thoughts on the writing enough to outpace the Harry Potter books, so I won't now :p I don't know how the story from the movies seems to connect to the canon, though. |
In Decades case they can get away with it because he and his group keep travelling trough worlds, hell even the villain Narutaki shows up in several of the movies so overall they are just going like they did in their own show, actually showing some forms of character development for their characters at least, not much but it is there.
In some of the other riders cases though, what is canon seems to change over time, overall the majority of movies are not canon last I checked, the " what if " movies are kinda obvious, but some of the others do not count either. Its been a while since I read up on what counts and what does not, usually its interviews or guide books on the franchise, and sometimes what is what changes over time. Its like trying to make sense of other franchise series like Devilman on what is and what is not canon, another series with multiple additions and an author that constantly changes his mind on what counts or not. Decade is different though, due to how his show worked, every movie is technically canon for him, since he can enter whatever world he wants. They can get away with whatever they want with him, on the plus side his actor is quite fun to watch, fun to watch him in Garo as well. |
Reminder, the SuperHeroTime programming is pre-empted this weekend.
Ghost returns November 8th. |
I know it's still early...but I'm getting Wizard flash backs...with all this hugging.

I can't shake the feeling that this show is trying very hard not to be Kiva. This is pretty disappointing, since I really liked tonal elements of that show. I also don't feel confident that this is going to change anytime soon, as the candypop feel of the show seems deliberate.
"You seriously still don't understand how your powers work?" That was wonderful. Also, I really enjoyed Takeru's fantastic, "Yeah, I'll leave your office now," followed by heading right back in as a ghost. That's a good use of the ghost premise. Unless I missed something, it's not yet apparent that Spectre is working for whoever's controlling the Ganma, which is a bit of a relief. (That might still be coming, but I'm hoping not; I don't want more Chase parallels, as much as I loved Chase.) I had strongly mixed feelings on the Alice-in-Wonderland Ganma: fantastic design! Doesn't belong on a Rider show. The formula of needing an object and a person with strong ties to This Week's Eyecon is making the plots feel super-contrived to me. I want to applaud the format of single-episode stories on principle, and I'm not sure we'd benefit from these stories being expanded to two episodes. My hope is that the head writer is getting these stories out of the way quickly in order to get to stories they're more interested in telling. |

If I may put my 2 cents in, one does not merely try to understand Decade. One must only concede that it exists. And never ends. Really, we've just been watching the Decade show for multiple seasons now, you all just don't realize it. Kind of like how Zeronos keeps showing up. |

Decade has crawled back into it's hole and only ever pops it's disgusting head for the annual crossover movie.
Decade is over, thank god. Just attribute other riders appearing in the same universe to Kabuto crossing dimensions again. |
Late to the party here but honestly I loved this episode a lot. This probably was the first episode that did something better than Drive besides the action scenes which was tell an episode in one episode rather than two (yes the other episodes did as well but this one felt like a Drive episode). My biggest complaint of Ghost so far was the action being a little lacking but this episode kicked it up to an eleven and Ghost kicked ass here, I loved everything from the Robin Damashii and his Omega Drive to the normal Ganma. Akari and Onari are definitely helpful in their own ways with tracking the Old Man and her finding the pattern of the Ganma too. It reminds me of Stronger in a sense of Takeru is like Stronger and Onari and Akari remind me of Tachibana and Yuriko. I enjoy that Takeru goes into the person's soul and able to help them find what they truly want and can help inspire people, he reminds me kind of like Eiji too in that sense. Spectre is pretty awesome so far, I can't wait to learn about his character same goes for Alan/Aran too. Well I can't wait for more I'm glad I waited to watch this so I have the new episode this weekend hopefully.

Okay so I have really kind of been on the fence about this episode.. on the one hand it's great to see Specter debut but the story of the city being lifted into the air and Kamen Rider ghost using his Newton form having the whole of the city in the air and I think he gently let it go is pretty much what happened in age of Ultron but both under different circumstances , overall I'm mostly happy with the episode and can't wait to see what episode 5 can bring to the table so far this is a really great show and I'm happy to see Kamen Rider do another paranormal theme
