Depends, we don't know if his head switches if the costume switches colors. I highly doubt it, but we don't know yet. He's tri-color to me because we need a Tri-Color ranger.

Honestly rather like the helmet here. All the modes look cool.

But like the other Zyuohgers, just not much of a fan of the rest of the suit at all.

Don't misunderstand me. I neither know of, nor care about, Jojo. I just said what I said because of people freaking out about this coincidence thing. Hence why I put up the clip.
Black sixth instead of gold or silver?! Blasphemy!!!!! :lolol It's great to see another color being used. Yes silver is in there somewhere as the wolf, but they're also using orange. Truly a groundbreaking anniversary for a sixth.

We don't have any information that suggests he has that ability, so for all intents and purposes I think TheWorld is a black senshi. He is no more a tri-color ranger than Shinken Gold is a bi-colored one.

That being said, if he changes anything on his suit other than his helmet I'll eat my hat. That, and I'll be bummed out because he looks the best as a black ranger with that Rhino visor. The orange and grey vest is a great look though, and is a nice play on the "shield" look classic extra Rangers have.

Unless you're going to go out and say Battle Japan is a White ranger and Dekamaster is a blue and red ranger, I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that Zyuoh TheWorld is gonna be a black ranger in classification.

And we don't need a tri colored ranger as a classification.

Why are we even categorising him? He's three colours. That isn't hard to comprehend.

On the flipside, one can see why, of all things, people might seek to classify sentai team members by colour.

Yeah, I thought the whole point is that he's tri-colored. Other than the black pants, he seems to be gold/black/silver all at once...which is kind of cool.

It's having other colors vs. "being" other colors. The non-black colors have a greater significance, clearly, than random design choices. Still, whether his suit remains the same or that's only his default form, his color appears to be black more than anything else.

Of course - black usually a good starting point for a base colour. But that doesn't mean Zyuoh TheWorld should be labelled as a "black" ranger. People don't label King Ranger as a black ranger do they?

Yes, yes they do, actually. If DragonRanger can be green and KibaRanger can be white, KingRanger can be black. Not that that's necessarily immediately relevant to ZyuohTheWorld...

They do? Can't honestly say I've ever seen someone call KingRanger a black ranger by colour designation (though that could have a lot to do with Zeo's influence *shrug*) but fair enough. It was more a point of whether people actually do it rather than it being wrong.

But back to the point at hand, to say Zyuoh TheWorld is a *insert colour* ranger is completely ignoring what the show is clearly going for.

Also him having 7-9 for Cube Animals possibly means... we'll get twelve total? I like the idea of a four Megazord minimum these days.

Doesn't Sentai recognize Kingranger as a black ranger, and it's Zeo that calls him gold?

But I just like having a character be designated a color just for simplicity's sake.
I don't like ambiguous placings (*Glares at Dekaswan*), but that's just me.

I don't know what people say or if he's ever been recognized as anything, but I certainly classify KingRanger as black--and I grew up on Zeo. I do know that many, many years ago, I saw someone say he's not considered gold in Sentai. Couple that with having actual golds, and I've shifted my perspective.


I don't know, I think if they were that bothered about it, they could have taken it further. The way it's looking, I see orange and silver his auxiliary colors of sorts.

Aside from that, I think a big motivating factor in classifying anyone as a particular, single color has to do with having multiple seasons. If Zyuohger were all that existed of the series, fans like myself would be less bothered about narrowing it down. Classifying him a single color has less to do with Zyuohger than it does Super Sentai.


Same here. I'd look to narrow anyone down to a single color if at all possible. I want more oranges and violets, etc. It seems a needless mess to start dealing with combinations in Sentai.

Because this is the Toku fandom. Where people argue over what color dekaswan is, and whether or not Right and Takaharu are gay. It's pretty crazy. Also JJBA is amazing. That's why.

What if Zyuoh theWorld's alter ego found a 'King's Credential' and when it empowered him, he used it to control animals. Hence being the 'Beast Champion/Monarch of the World' a.k.a Zyuoh theWorld.

To me he looks evil and feels like he have a evil story arc first plus I saw post on facebook showing his helmet change to crocodile looking one. But I just feel like he be evil first then good later on.

I think that he's gonna be human, because only the red ranger, a human, has been able to use visor up thus far, as well as the only other one to utilize multiple cubes.

I agree with the human aspect because I can't imagine a Zyuman being three animals in one unless he's like a weird Chimera like thing. I wouldn't be against that but that would look odd lol.

Seriously. I'm not a Sentai guy but I can acknowledge fun looking and well designed toys even if I don’t plan on buying any of them. The stuff I have seen for this series so far though... nope.

If Japanese children have fun with it then it has achieved everything it needed to, but for me this line looks pretty weak.

His morpher is a flashlight. His weapon is a gun..... well, put them together and you got a gun with a scope. I say this because I'm the flashlight can double as a scope in the show.

I kinda like the idea of the Light. Execution's a bit simplistic...not much to say about the rest.
