Hmm. I think the "face" of the Driver may flip upside down for Alpha. We haven't gotten a very good look at Alpha's belt, but I think it has it's "eyes" angled up like in his helmet...

Not a ton of information it looks like. It has lights and sounds but nothing really about how it works. Hm.

I feel like maybe the front section slides up and off for some reason. Looks like the "cheek" section below the eyes is some kind of cradle. Maybe it slides off, flips around some way, and reattaches to become the Alpha Driver? Or maybe the potential removable section has something to do with Omega Amazon's new transformation?

I dunno. I'm curious though. Definitely seems like there's a lot more to it than we're seeing in this picture alone.

Not sure how to feel about Amazon Omega. It looks good, but it looses almost all of the organic styling, which was a major part of Amazon's design and character. Also not really a fan of how small the Gigi Armlet is, or how the suit has less stripes. I think adding a mouth to the helmet would have helped a lot, as the mouth was one of Amazon's key features.

See. I don't have any attachment to the original design. Amazon is cool, but definitely not one of my favorite suits. Thus, it doesn't matter to me that it lacks a striking resemblance to the first Amazon. In fact I think one of the reasons I like Omega so much is because it doesn't. It's just a kickass suit design regardless of the original's existence.

Holy shit. I was excited enough, this trailer just set my hype meters off the roof. This looks awesome. The suits are great, it's as gory as an Amazon show should be, and it looks like we're getting a few new Amazon designs besides Alpha and Omega--including what seems to be a Driverless proto-Omega. Looks like people are being turned into Amazons against their will, and they can only control their powers with the Drivers? Though all the kaijin have armlets as well...though with red as opposed to blue eyes. Are those the 4000 Amazons mentioned? Failed Amazons? They really just look like kaijin though...

And we finally get a good look at Alpha's belt. It really is an upside down Omega faceplate. So I guess that's gonna be part of the toy's functionailty. Wonder how/if they'll do the different colors, but...

Still, damn. I'm really freaking hyped for this.

So the armlet has been renamed the "Amazon Register" and it seems like it's medicinal and stops the main kid from going Amazon. My guess is that since Alpha doesn't have one, his form is what it looks like when someone infected with Amazon Cells uses the Driver. Omega is what someone with the cells repressed by the Register looks like when they use the Driver. The crazy green Amazon is Omega before using the belt to control his power or the Register to halt it completely.

I do not know how to feel about this.
It looks fun, and it does seem like they're keeping true to Amazon's fighting style, but the lack of armlets and the use of a driver is confusing me a bit...

Kamen Rider Amazons is more darker and more realistic than Original Kamen Rider Amazon

This looks pretty good. Has blood and gore which is surprising but definitely welcome, and it looks like a more serious Rider show without a pointless crossover with the currently airing show. I will watch it.

Interesting that they have a DX belt in the pipeline too. I don’t want one, but still nice for those who do. I hope this creates enough buzz that Tamashii release some merchandise as well, I would really like to see a SHF of the Red Amazon.

The host asked which Rider show they are fond of and Omega's actor says Agito and 4 days prior to the press conference saw Project G4.
Taniguchi who plays Alpha remembers around the time they were wrapping up GogoV and one day they encountered a set that was burnt to a crisp and wondered what this was, later discovering that it is from Kuuga(see episode 2). The burnt set left such an impact that he picked it for his answer.
The actress in the uniform says she recently saw the old timey Amazon.
The other actress says she is still fond of Drive which she guest starred in.
She used to think Rider shows were for children only later discovering that there is something for all.

This all sounds pretty cool. Makes me kind of want to watch the original too, but right now I'm definitely planning on seeing this as soon as I can when it starts at least.

But what's the point of doing a reboot or homage if you purposely throw away the key aspects of the original? It's not a matter of attachement, it just strikes me as odd that the suit lacks the elements that make Amazon, well, Amazon. That being said, I still think it's a nice suit, I just think adding a mouth wouldhave helped. But there's most likely a story reason behind the design. The show looks good.

I'm liking the look of that Amazon, who I think is a berserk version of Omega. That version looks more like what I thought an Amazon update would look like, but I'm sure the story will justify Toei's choices.
