Finally finished season 1 this week. Pretty decent show, but kinda feel like not much happened until the very end. But looking forward to me.

Also reeeeally want the upcoming combining Voltron. That looks damn good.

Sadly it's not a very good review, but hey, hopefully someone will cover the torso mode articulation better later on.

While I still have a couple nitpicks with the combined Voltron form, there is no denying that Playmates ACED the Lion forms of these figures. They look spectacular.

...Maybe you should have waited for a better time to film this review then? I don't know. Seems to me like if you're showcasing a toy, an important aspect of the video should be featuring all of the lights and sounds available. Oh well. As if not knowing all the phrases it says is going to stop me from buying this toy on sight. :lol

Hey, I think this is first video of the full combo. An hour long review seems a little excessive though.

Wow. The toy actually makes a ton of sounds AS you combine it, and once it's combined it unlocks even MORE sounds. I don't think anyone has shown that off yet, and it's actually pretty friggin' awesome.

Just two weeks left to go...

One thing they say in the trailer that disturbs me. The enemy keps finding them, yet they find ntracking signals from their ship. Am I the only one going "IT"S SHIRO'S ARM!!!"? I mean yeah it's tech, but llet's not forget that the enemy uses magic as well.

Yeah, the arm is Galra tech so there's probably some way they can track them with it.

Except they say they're not being tracked by instruments.

Zarkon's likely tracking them because he's still connected to the Black Lion.

Man, the Legendary Voltron is a real bummer for me. I got the upper torso Lions today and it's doing so much right, but those arm connections are the absolute worst. It feels like there was supposed to be some sort of release switch at some point and they just forgot to engineer it in.

And alas, even after all those videos on YouTube showing how to leverage the arms out of their sockets that didn't work for mine, I have gone and destroyed the electronics or activation button from the right arm socket trying to get the thing out. On top of that after finally getting Red Lion out I think the shoulder ratchet got bent or got worn out because it can't hold itself up anymore. Green is permanantly stuck in there. No matter what way I attack it or how much force I use, it wont budge. A real dame shame, maybe I just have shit luck and got a really grippy Black Lion. Kind of afraid to try again.

The 9-inch Voltron looks to be a downscaled Legendary Voltron, which I'm okay with with. The pilots look pretty good, and the pilotted lions are neat.

Some good stuff there. Also, shoutout to the total showoff who effortlessly de-arms Voltron. :lol

Season two was amazing. And the legendary figure is very fun!

We just finished the second season and overall, it was just as solid as the first. My only complaint is that I felt it was a little too soon for them to attack Zarkon head on since they only freed like 3 planets of the thousands he reigns over. I loved that this show doesn't pull any punches when it comes to characters dying or not and that all of the deaths feel natural rather than them being killed just for shock factor. The fight between Voltron and Mobile Suit Zarkon was pretty bad ass as was the battle between Allura and Hagar. I especially can't wait for Season 3 now that my favorite character is finally going to make the stage. Speaking of which, when is Season 3? I need it now!! :D

Finished season two and I can only agree with what's been said here so far, it was great. Waiting for season three sucks already :(

Anyone else start season 3 yet?

I've only seen the first two episodes, and I'm actually kind of disappointed with the direction they're going in. It was a little too predictable and undermines a lot of the character growth from the previous season. Where bonding with one's lion was a central focus, so why switch them around so easily now?

Man, 7 episodes was not enough. These went by way too quickly.


First, I loved the way they changed around the Paladins. That was well done and worked out. I also love that the trio were not instantly able to do anything with them. Best part of this aspect was when Allura started to talk like Lance to the lion.

Lotor is so god damned badass. Like oh my god he is already superior to the original incarnation (and I mean Sincline in Golion, not the jokester Voltron version). He is ruthless, he is a strategist, and a top notch warrior. I really hope we get to see him and Keith actually duel each other in hand to hand combat sometime soon.

Next up, I'm not sure which was funnier, alternate universe Shiro being Sven with a bad accent or the whole, "Just get me to a Space Hospital and I will be fine."

Speaking of Shiro, is it just me, or is Shiro a clone? I'm pretty sure there was another Shiro in that tank when he was escaping and Plan Corone sounds an awfully like clone.

Finally, while I loved the flashback episode, I did feel that it crammed too much information into one episode. It was like the King Grayskull episode of the 2002 He-Man series. It should have been a two parter to really flesh it out. However, I think I fangasmed multiple times when they said Zarkon is from the planet Daibazal (Zarkon's original Japanese name) and Hagar was originally an Altean named Honerva (Hagar's original Japanese name).

Good god these episodes were great. I just hope we don't have to wait too long for the remaining 6 episodes to come out.

Only had time for the first 2 episodes of season 4 this morning. Real... interesting dichotomy, those two.

Episode 1: Us or them, Keith! No more leaving us, you must choose!
Episode 2: Enjoy your solo adventure, Pidge! Have a safe trip we'll be fine down a Paladin!

I know they were different circumstances, but still found it a little weird at the start of episode 2. Quickly got over that though, because finally her story is advancing! Was totally convinced there Matt had died and loved their reunion.

Almost done with the new season.

And they just went full on Power Rangers/Sentai in Episode 4, and it was kinda awesome.

New season hits Netflix TODAY! :D

Watched the first two episodes first thing this morning. Really enjoying it. Still don't like how this "season" is just half of a real season and will be over so soon.

But yay happy ending? Can't wait to see it go horribly wrong soon. Mostly happy this storyline seems to be resolved since Pidge, as much as I usually love her, was actually starting to get annoying to me...
