I'm not expecting any major link but perhaps in a movie war- Ryo Hayami's shown his willingness to return for films in Hesei vs Showa Rider Taisen, and apparently complained that he wasn't told about All Riders vs Dai-Shocker because he would have happily been in it, so maybe we will see him back in another kamen rider film?

I have. It's really good. A rider similar to Black Jack would be awesome. However I doubt it since the series is made for kids, I doubt we will get a more serious tone Rider show. I would want something similar to OOO in tone. It can have a serious story line but still had humor.

Ex-Aid definitely sounds like some sort of rescue related hero. I'm really interested in seeing how they could possibly do that, given rescue vehicle based forms would be redundant as we had vehicle related things in Drive.

Well, the Kaijin are probably humans afflicted with some kind of monster virus. They get sick, they turn into a destructive monster. I don't know how the power of Rider Kick would cure them, but it would.

However, if we wanted to get into some serious talk, and I just thought of this, the 'Kaijin Syndrome', thought to be a disease of some kind, is actually just another way the human body can develop, and is wholly natural. That would be some real-world referential stuffs.

Well if it's gonna be a rescue motif, and if there's the main hero's form is gonna be a medic-based form, I'd still say the user can be someone like Black Jack.

Well considering the way Kaijin have been working in recant time they would most likely be tied to some sort of evil version of the collection gimmick like the Gamma Eyecons. But you do have a good idea, let's say what ever trinket the Collection gimmick is, finds it's way to some random person either by the main villains or they found it an become infected with that "Kaijin Syndrom". Maybe the infected start of with minor symptoms like a sore throat and then slowly become the MotW themed after that sickness (somehow).

This made me think of "doctor who cures people by beating them up". I don't know if this concept already exists or not, but it'd still be funny to see a Rider or someone run after someone else like: "LET ME CURE YOU!!" *kick*

So, if Ex-Aid would have a secondary motif besides Rescue, what do you think it would be? We've had fruit warriors, car cops, and now ghost monks/scientists. I'm thinking maybe... rescue animal? That could be interesting.

The Second Rider typically has an attitude/personality and occasionally motivations that conflict with the Lead Rider. The Second Rider is the foil. Typically the Lead Rider is a fairly energetic or upbeat person, and so the Second, naturally, is more melancholic. It makes for a good if predictable dynamic (recent subversion in Drive with the roles reversed- Shinnosuke being fairly serious and Gou being the upbeat one) that keeps us from (usually) having an entire cast of shrieking, yammering idiots like tends to happen in Super Sentai.

Point being that tropes and archetypes exist for a reason- what's important isn't THAT they're used, it's HOW they're used.
