Took me a while to like this suit design, but definitely like the bulky version now. Figure looks to be pretty good too.

Man I wish I had the money for Figuarts.. This guy looks really cool.
Also, I love the comparison images, though I kinda wish they had "The First" version thrown in there as well, even if people don't totally care for it.

0%. They just look similar because both have a bug-inspired design.

But there have been some Kamen Rider eastereggs in Transformers history; a being which looks very similar to Kamen Rider Amazon currently resides in a prison cell in Axiom Nexus and one of the Titan Hunters from the IDW comics is modeled after Kamen Rider V3.

There may be more, I think in the Transformers movie you can see a Rider-like being when Unicron eats up that one planet during the opening, may be just a coincidence though.

Was glad to see this made, but to then be so off from the suit is rather offputting.

Seeing the history of Ichigo's suits in figure form is really cool though.

Yeah, Lockdown rolled with a lot of insect-bots, hence the multiple riders that show up in his ranks. :lol

This is what I like in a modernization: updating the outfit enough that it won't look outdated or cheesy in a modern work, but not going to far with it. Very nice design.

That fire accessory is really good and really adds to the toy.

Little details, like his belt closing, are awesome. Earlier images of this suit didn't wow me, but I like the look of this figure. Still haven't seen the movie yet.

I love this design. Makes Ichigou fit in with the modern times. I hope they do more of the other Showa Riders like this at some point. Maybe we'll get a repaint for Nigou? :lol

I like this desgine for Rider #1

I love this guy simply because of his bulky design. Honestly we need more of it in Rider. Beefy Riders are totally my jam.

I really liked the movie and in spite of my initial reservations about the bulky design it grew on me in no time. Though I have to say that I do like the fact that they slimed it down a little bit for the figure.

One thing that puts me a little off is that at a first glimpse what with the mouthpiece being the same colour as the rest of the jawline it gives the impression of it being left unpainted for the figure. This could've been solved with painting the black lines around the mouthpiece, much like the movie suit, but oh well! Great figure, nonetheless.

The movie was pretty good. And the suit still looks rather massive to fit Fujioka Hiroshi's size, but really nicely detailed.

The figure itself looks pretty sweet there. Would like to buy it one day soon. :)

I instantly fell in love with the suit in the movie, because it made sense from an "in-universe" perspective that Ichigo would need a more armored suit because of his age.

and while the proportions on the figure are off, they still look and apparently function just fine.

10/10 would buy.

I've always loved the design of this suit... I wasn't a huge fan of how huge it was in the movie, but it LOOKED good nonetheless! This figure has the one improvement I'd see necessary, so I'm definitely gonna pick this up!

I've really enjoyed a lot of the new designs pertaining to the original Riders. The bulk built onto Kamen Rider 1 particularly makes this an amazing figure.

I was never into this old school look, but its a nice toy regardless.

I really love this design, and I need to pick one of these up asap.

It's really beefy, I enjoy the modern take of KR 1, and the figuarts looks just as nice.

It could just be my imagination, but this looks ever so slightly slimmer than the movie suit, which honestly makes a big difference to me. I also prefer the coloring - the way they outlined the abs on the movie suit bugged me, but I like it here. Overall, I enjoyed the Kamen Rider One suit, but this figure makes it even more appealing.

every time i see this re-design of Ichigo. I can't help but be really surprised and slightly off put by just how bulky it is. it's like Ichigo hulked out. (Hey, he's even turned greener)

I really like the design of this one, a suitable upgrade to the Rider 1 suit.

I have this figure solely for the design. Don't get me wrong, its poseablity is good enough, but I just like it for its looks.

I love the new Kamen Rider 1 suit. He looks awesome and I love the color.

Relatively bland looking suit imo, but looks cool posed with the flame effects.

Would have been nice if this new suit was used as a new form in the movie rather than his new default mode.

I still need to see the movie before I can truly decide on this form, but it is beefy as hell. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing
