I am so disappointed in this, and I had such high hopes coming into this. The Ranger suits weren't bad, but this? this is criminal

I like the "playset" Megazord's design, it's very streamlined and sleek.

When I found out that it was the Megazord? Eh, it just does not *look* like a Megazord. Looks like an Alien (which is probably what they were going for?)

Still unsure if I'm gonna get this. Depends on if the movie ends up being alright

I can't wait for images of the ACTUAL Megazord, I really want to like these designs but the toys just don't do it justice...

I'm glad it transforms! If the movie is good, I can see myself going after this!

I'm no fan of these designs either. That said, I'm really looking forward to the film even if I was not a Power Rangers watcher when I was younger (or now). Still, I'd like to see the other Zord designs. Maybe I'll buy a couple though not all of them.

So Thursday I saw this at Toys R Us and yeah it does not look any better in person. They want $40 or more (Toys R Us might charge more for it) for that? I went to TJ Maxx in the nearby mall afterwards. Found a Transformer Combiner Wars G2 Menasor and they wanted $40 for it. Take a guess which I bought.

The design is going to take me sometime to get used too. I'm still not a fan of the design of the Zords in the movie. Anyways, good job on the photos though.

I want to like this. I actually like the designs of the individual zords and the megazord. I like how you buy each one individually and they combine into the big one (which is huge). But they just look so freaking cheap. It's not even the paint job. The plastic looks cheap, they seem to fall apart when combined (based on a video review I saw) and the transformation/combination itself is really boring. Maybe if these were all half the price, but as it is they seem overpriced and underwhelming.

I still look at it like its grimlock from the movie. The price is something even I'm iffy about. maybe 25 is a better price point

I've seen a few reviews and I'm amazed at how bad these toys are but yet there's a small (very small) part of me that wants it for the sheer size of it.

Being primarily a Transformers fan first, I have a lot of practice in not judging a movie before I have seen it. However, being a fan of the movie Transformers, I have found myself unable to not roll my eyes when I see these designs. That comparison picture with Stomp and Chomp Grimlock hits the nail squarely on the head. Still not judging the movie content itself (and I'll see it for sure because my kid wants to see it) but nothing about these designs makes me want toys of them.

what have they done?
tying to look at it without nostalgia glasses on. it's a bit odd looking, but it is kind of neat I guess. and the fact it can combine into (what based on its size must be) a massively massive megazord is of course appealing (despite how said megazord may look...)
and hey, at least it has the right amount of legs.

I dislike the emphasis on partsforming, but the design isnt all that bad just not that well executed as a $40 combining toy (comparing to new combining voltron)

I'm not crazy about the toy, but the size is pretty nice.

I suppose I can appreciate the look of the zord itself, but the figure does nothing for me. Don't like these at all.

Went and watched the review video. I just want to know why they made it so big. I get the whole selling each part separately thing, but still. It's just so big.

I kinda like the design, and look forward to see what it and the other zords are going to look like in the actual movie as they comes to life.

I am surprised that Bandai didn't make them zordbuilder, but with the larger than normal size, it wouldn't be reasonable, so it makes sense.

I've seen this thing in-person a couple of times now, and while I'm not sure I'll ever buy it, I will say that I really like the red plastic they used for it. Has an odd but ood look to it in-person that doesn't translate well into photos.

I really want to be optimistic about this new movie megazord, but man I wish BoA focused more on detail, quality, and transformation rather than size.

Anyone else think this looks like Power Rangers and Zoids had an edgy baby?

Too bad paint seems to add so much to the price of toys. This would look much better if some of the details were painted in.
