Anyone or anything could have made the monsters grow though. Naria didn't need to be there. She didn't even get an arc at all.

Obviously I watch Sentai.

As for the ending, yeah, the two worlds were combined, which was as generic as you could get. Instead of actually having to make the four rangers decide whether to go home or stay, they copped out by making it so everyone wins. There was no payoff and nothing ever came out of the fact that humans were executed for crossing worlds.

Honestly Lucky is my least favorite red because of how annoying he is but i havent even gotten past the 12th episode and im glad yall are saying he finally got development. I really need to catch up..

That was her role in the show. Nobody else could do that to others, thus she needed to be there

No, you look at it from 3 yards away, as you clearly miss important shit. Plus, Zyuohger only had positives other than the villains and ending according to you and isn't good? What scoring system do you use?
There's a sequel which shows what happened after that you dullard

That is a good gimmick for the show and I wander what color the undercover ranger will be and weather or not that will change from team to team

The new info sounds a bit fishy and confusion hmm. Each has to reach 20 eps? Why not 15 that's gonna take a while to get used to. The part about the 4 quarter toy line sounds fake.

Will have to wait until we have facts first.

I think you are going to be let down if you hope that the next Sentai show will be the next Dairanger.

I won't compare Sentai with The Simpsons since each Sentai season is it's own show with its own characters. Not to mention Super Sentai will never end as long if toys keep on selling well. Toei will keep on making Super Sentai until the second Ice Age happens.

I LOVE the new concept of good vs bad sentai, but the "alternating weeks" gimmick rumor could either suck so hard or be incredible because, damn, it's going to take a lot of work to make that make sense. But if it does... WOW.

I don't mean it has to be better than Dairanger, I mean I'm waiting for that next show to blow me away in a similar fashion that Dairanger did. Gekiranger was able to, so there is no reason why Toei couldn't do it again.

It's early enough that I'm taking everything with a grain of salt. If we do have the two alternating teams that'd certainly be different, but again suspect timing.

I also see this as a way Bandai can hedge their bets. Depending on how different the teams look, and what themes their mecha have, Bandai could be able to aleviate risk if one is not as popular. Maybe Patoranger will have vehicle mecha and Lupinranger animal, for example.

And speaking of Lupinranger, I'm really wondering how they'll set up a group of "Phantom Thieves" using giant robots. Kinda the furthest thing from sneaky. On the other hand I'm also looking forward to them following in their obvious inspiration's footsteps and foiling much worse people during their crimes.

We already had three ninja teams who are supposed to be the epitome of stealth(except for that one team that abandoned it) with flashy robots so I am sure they will justify it somehow within the realm of fiction. :)

Let me rephrase that. I'm wondering how they'll play a group of master thieves getting into the fight with the monster of the week. I'm seeing them being very much like Lupin III in that they'll steal from worse criminals most of the time, and end up taking them down. Also if the monster are made to grow via some sort of object we need at least one episode where a Lupinranger steals it before the bad guys can use it.

Of course those are the popular ones, they are the only ones who have been developed. Why even bother with Hammy, Garu, and Sparda at all if they weren't planning to do anything with them? Okay, so? What are their parents like? Do they have siblings? What made Hammy to not be shy when she was a kid? What led to Sparda starving enough to be a chef? Is he from a poor planet? Are there poor planets? What about Garu's race? How were they wiped out? What were they like? Did Garu ever get married? Was he the runt of the pack? Did they have good lives while growing up? Were they always on the run after Don Amarge took over the universe? Why were these guys chosen to be Kyurangers? What made them worthy enough? How have these characters changed since the show started?



You're right, there hasn't been a good Sentai since Gokaiger. I keep watching every show hoping it is going to be the next Dairanger. Also, I keep watching for the same reason I am still watching The Simpsons each season. It's called maschistic completionsim. Houoh Solider is the sixth Ranger of the team so he has to have a lot of focus don't you get it? It been like that for a long time you should know that.

We saw most not all of them how they got their Kuytama.

I disagree since Gokaiger two other Sentai I like Kyoryuger and Zyuohger. Both very well written shows with a lot of plot and focus for the teams. And very popular ones I might add.

Maschistic completionsim is on you a problem you make yourself have. There not going to be the next Dairanger ever. The 90's of Sentai days are gone. The only time we got something close to it was Gekiranger and it was a well written show.

My advice to you don't watch any new Sentai if you think it going to be the next Dairanger your just going to be disappoint and angry.

I already agreed on the Zyuohger ranger cast, but the villains were utter shit. THey made Dokoku look like he actually did something.

Now for Kyoryuger, I can't agree with you because the show pretty much focused on Daigo and only Daigo. Daigo is the original Mr Perfect.

Yeah, which is why Gekiranger is my fourth favorite Sentai series. I didn't say I need the show to be better than Dairanger, I just need it to entertain me as much as that show. Hell, I'll take something as entertaining as Gekiranger.

The point, which you keep missing, is that if you keep EXPECTING a series to be that good, you're going to be disappointed. Just let it happen. Don't expect anything, and you'll be surprised. I've enjoyed series that are generally seen as bad, simply because I went in with no expectations - only to see what they had prepared for me. It seems like there have been more Sentai seasons that you DIDN'T enjoy than ones you DID enjoy. Why not take a break and let reviews come in for the next season?

I entered watching Build with this mindset and I love the series so far. After coming off of a HUGE high from Ex-Aid, I knew my expectations had to be tempered a bit to enjoy Build and it worked. All about what you make of it.

And it got me thinking....is this going ot be like Fire Emblem Fates? Like there are two sides? If we're gonna talk about th ecolor distribution, assuming that both have 7 members, or the 3v3 we talked about, it mgiht get interesting. I've been playing Fire emblem lately (Warriors made me appreciate Fates more) and I could already smell the similarities...

The leak says one character is a spy and is on both teams. Odd are it's Red. Interesting thought about this what if it's a deep undercover thing where both teams aren't aware that there is a spy/undercover cop.

I don't like the undercover idea because what would be stopping the Patoranger from arresting Lupinranger? Also having to Reds from the start would be something new, and I don't mean the same red in two different suits.

This Superman/Batman duality between the teams seems really cool, and I hope that they don't screw it up. Having one Lupinranger be a double agent for the Patrorangers is gonna be a really interesting plot point when/if the teams join up, with the Lupins having to deal with that feel of being betrayed by someone they trusted.

They'll most likely have different transformation devices with the same gimmick and similar mecha but I hope they exploit all possible differences between the two. The patrorangers will most likely have something badge related, but something gun related would be nice. As for the lupinrangers I hope they have Jungle Fury style devices to tie into the gentleman thief idea we go going on. As for mecha they'll probably have vehicle related stuff that can do inter-team combinations to foreshadow the eventual(?) team merging.
