Could someone help me with a Lupinranger vs Patranger concept for KR?
Angels and demons would be a good choice. Angel rider - based off of Angemon Devil rider - based off of Devimon & Devilman Both riders possess the same type of belt, but with different gimmick items. Both sides will have two more riders with them. And finally, a “tertiary rider” will appear like Lupin-Patren-X. |
Name: Kamen Rider Starc
Civilian Name: Kenta Tatsumi Forms: The Star (Main Form) The Sun and The Moon (Upgrade Forms) The World (Super Form) Justice (Final Form) Arsenal Belt: Arcana Driver Weapons: Stellar Saber Allies: Toki Shiba/Kamen Rider Force An athlete who seeks to test his strength against the Geddon Forms Strength The Tower The Emperor Naki Imamura/Kamen Rider Charm An aspiring actress hoping to launch her career by being in Fate Fighter. While she allies herself with Kenta and Shiba, she still prioritises her potential career over the investigation. Forms The Magician The Empress |
For some reason, I can't post the descriptions of the villain Riders and the post about my shows setup that I tried to post before the one detailing the main riders has to be approved by a moderator

Has anyone thought about a new rider who's occupation is of a firefighter?
We got Drive as a cop & Ex-Aid as a doctor. |

Either way, I'm planning to find time to draw Royal and Eikou, so I might show them off here at some point. |
Meh why not toss in a rider I created only because I was able to come up with a name for it (making names is pain for me). Still tweaking it as I go.
Kamen Rider Bolt, a Ryuki rider. They are dark blue grey (storm cloud color) with a tad bit of bulky armor (think of Buster but with slightly less bulk). Their face visor looks like an elephants ears folded over their face with small tusks holding them in place. They are a melee fighter. It's contract monster is Rumble Trunk (temp name for now unless I decide to go with it) is a big metallic electric elephant that cause severe thunder storms when it moves. Bolt's visor, the Rumble Visor is placed over their heart. Their cards so far: Ele Vent - The tusk of Rumble Trunk attach to Bolt's shoulder blade ports. Causes Bolt's attacks to have an electric charge to them. Charge Vent - If Bolt is starting to get worn out, Rumble Trunk strikes them with a big lightning bolt. While it does charge them full of energy this will also hurt them. Strike Vent - The shoulders of Rumble Trunk become big gauntless. Ax Vent (don't remember if the show has this called something else) - Rumble Trunk's head becomes a bit double sided axe. The trunk as the pole and the ears as the blade part. Final Vent - A storm cloud appears above Bolt as Rumble Trunk charges behind them. They will jump then Rumble Trunk will launch them into the cloud. They will be charged with electricity then launch from the cloud like a lightning bolt at the target with a lot of force. Survive Vent - Will have it's own design instead of the bird. Still working on the Survive form so that is it for now. Now you all care tear my idea apart. |
My idea for the tv series that will air during the 50th Anniversary of Kamen Rider is to have a Rider family of sorts, a show which I will refer to as Kamen Rider Shinren (New Lead).
The three main Riders would be Yonsei Seijikawa, his older sister Mijo Seijikawa, and their father and original Shinren Hngo Seijikawa. The main theme with this season is family and legacy, which would not only be reflected with the Seijikawas own relationships but also with how they advance the Engine system used to become Kamen Rider Shinren. This point of contention would come from their differing philosophies on evolving their weaponry, reflecting a specific era of Kamen Rider: Hongo believes in a more simplistic fighting style and has no (Showa), Yonsei would favor augmenting the Driver with Motors (show collectible) and have a flashy battle style to inspire the people of Bouken City (Heisei Phase 2), while Mijo would favor a balance between the two, believing that a flashy fighter can work so long as their mechanisms can't interfere with their justice (Heisei Phase 1). In the end, all three acknowledge the other's points and would instead decide to evolve the system their own way, forging a new future using the Engine as a basis (Reiwa). Transformation Device: The belts used by the main Riders are known as Engines (similar to how the mass-produced drivers in Zero-One are known as Risers and the devices used by the swordsmen to transform are referred to as Seiken.) They would have a similar appearance to the Typhoon, with Yonsei's belt in particular possessing a more modern look to it. With the standard Whirlwind Engine (which simulates a windmill) and the Cyclone Engine, Yongou can don on the armor of Kamen Rider Shinren to fight against SPARK RECALLS. Motors are a type of machinery created by Yongou via messing around with the remains of the Recalls. By attaching them to the Whirlwind Engine, he can access different forms based on the various elements. The Motors are circular in design, and possess a mechanical look to them. Villains: SPARKS RECALL is the newest iteration of SPARKSTER (an allusion to Shocker), who seek to create the ultimate life form while possessing a low view of people who do not follow their beliefs. They utilize monsters known as Recalls, which are meant to represent the various antagonistic organizations that have appeared throughout Kamen Rider. Other Details: -Mijo would become the secondary rider, known as Kamen Rider Shinni (an allusion to Kamen Rider Nigou) -Hongo would eventually become a Rider once more, using a belt that Yonsei built for him as a gift to become Kamen Rider Shinkai -Yonsei and Mijo would have catchphrases while Hongo absolutely refuses to indulge in such an act. If an enemy particularly pisses him off, however, he will snap some snarky remark at them before transforming. -Yonsei's Catchphrase: "Advancing the family's legacy! Protecting those I can protect! That's Kamen Rider Shinren to you!" -Mijo's Catchphrase: "Let it be known, that I have already won the war." -The basic idea behind this show is to first start by looking at the various aspects of Showa and Heisei Kamen Riders and making fun of them while also respecting them at the same time. -Possible conversation between Riders: (Hongo: "Why are you making all those weird movements when transforming? It's just delaying the time it takes to from the armor." Yonsei: "Weird!? You fought against a guy in a football costume that one time! You do not get the right to call my henshin seuqence weird!") AND that's the general gist for my idea for an anniversary. May jot some more ideas later on, but for now, that's all I have on the matter. |
How would you create a new rider series where the hero is a space traveller? Think like Battle Spirits Zero!
|
You PLAY UP the space travel! Go from planet to planet, maybe like a wild west bounty hunter on their horse-just replace the horse with a motorcycle. Or maybe a robot horse?
Whatever, my point is: have each part of episodes (since Kamen Rider episodes seem to be two-parters for the most part) be about the rider going from planet to planet to stop whatever criminal is causing havoc. Maybe their gimmick device for the series is based on constellations that give him different forms/weapons/augmentations to his suit. Sorry if this doesn't help, I don't know what Battle Spirits Zero is |
I was going to wait till the day I die to post this idea, but forget it.
I know we talked about having Toei make Kamen Rider Shinobi a thing for 2022, and I know that some believe dinosaurs to be the logical next step for Kamen Rider, even if it has been getting too much exposure on the Sentai side. But people, people, listen! Ninja dinosaurs! It makes sense if you think about, as they're two of the most popular topics in Japan! So logically, why not combine them into one! They contrast each other naturally (ninjas are sneaky, dinosaurs are loud), but even that could be justified with a good plot! Like, the main Kamen Rider (maybe named something like Ninsaur?) was a former member of a modern ninja clan (I'll refer to as the Sengoku Shadows for now), who serve as hired assassins and mercenaries. They disagreed with their methods when they learned that the clan had killed young children at one point, and after stealing a bunch of their equipment, vowed to fight against the clan for their atrocities. In that sense, Kamen Rider Ninsaur would be reflective of more modern views of ninjas (flashy, heroic, a dash of mysticism), while the Sengoku Shadows fit with the more historical views (sneaky, lack of honor, mere hints at mysticism). Ninsaur would publicly fight against the clan, and instead of hiding in the shadows, will make their rebellion known! It's perfect, with aboslutely no flaws whatsoever! (I jest) I even came up with a catchphrase for the guy! "The ninja who rampages against evil! Kamen Rider! Ninsaur!" |
For my space rider idea, the heroes & villains take place in outer space. Inspired by Saikyou Ginga Ultimate Zero: Battle Spirits, there'll be riders who'll have nicknames of stars. But I'll need help with the rider names. Plus the themes will involve the constellations & the zodiac. Plus the Twelve Olympians named after the planets being the villains.
The riders will have personality changes depending on the forms. Riders: Number One Star - Primary Rider Shooting Star - Secondary Rider Morning Star - Female Rider Evening Star - Tertiary/Dark Rider Allies: - Two humans from Earth - big sister & little brother like Laila & Rikuto - Robot chef like Salt Villains: Twelve Olympians - Jupiter - Juno - Mercury - Venus - Mars - Neptune - Minerva - Ceres - Bacchus - Vulcan - Apollo - Diana The monsters will also be based constellations - known ones & lost ones revived by the evil enemy. |
@DrChief: I LOVE me some modern day ninjas, so I'm all for this! I also really like the name 'Ninsaur'. And hey, not ALL Dinosaurs are giant, loud monsters. Some Dinosaurs were small, some were theorized to be sneakier hunters and gathers. Heck, Oviraptor is used to describe an entire genus of egg-stealing Dinosaurs. So I think blending Dinosaurs and Ninjas can work! (But, uh, your opening post is kind of concerning. I hope you're okay.)
@HenshinZero: I think you got a good foundation going on with "Space Faring Kamen Rider"! :D This is all looking pretty interesting and like the theme of the villains! |

And yeah, the opening line was merely an exaggeration on my part. I just thought that the idea was so obvious that I was actually unwilling to post the idea down on this forum, but I did it anyway because nobody ever seemed to thought of mixing the two motifs together, and I rather not let the idea go to waste because I was too stubborn about keeping my ideas to myself. I imagine for the Driver (dubbed the Ninja Henge Driver, stored in a specialized Hidden Gourd), it would utilize shurikens dubbed the Shufurikien (play on Shuriken and japanese word for ancient furuki) and are shaped after dinosaur heads. They would be opened into a star-shaped, resembling a dinosaur opening its mouth, and then attached to the Driver before spinning it to initiate the transformation. The most notable part of the Driver, however, would be the usage of a Silent Mode. Activated via pressing a switch, it makes it so that the transformation sound is a mere gush of wind, the transformation itself being near instantaneous with no flashiness involved. The basic transformation announcement for it is as follows: T Rex: "The Rampaging Shadow!? Strike with almighty blows! Tyrannosaurus Rex! KYORYUGO! (Dinosaur strength)" Spinosaurus: "The Aqautic Shadow!? Swimming with flow! Spinosaurus! HA~TAASHI! (to swim, move freely)" Yi Qi: "The Flying Shadow!? The wind shall blow! Yi~~ Qi~! AGARU! (bird flying/high ambition)" Oviraptor (Thanks for the idea, Starman!): "The Thieving Shadow!? Hide and go low! Ovi~raptor! HAYAI! (Victory/Fast)" |

For my riders, there'll be five riders based on the twelve signs of the zodiac plus Ophiuchus. 1. Kamen Rider - Protagonist (Number One Star) Forms: - Leo - Taurus - Aquarius - Sagittarius 2. Kamen Rider - Secondary Rider (Shooting Star) Forms: - Capricorn - Cancer - Libra 3. Kamen Rider - Female Rider (Morning Star) Forms: - Virgo - Scorpio - Pisces 4. Kamen Rider - Tertiary Rider (Legendary Star) Forms: - Aries - Gemini 5. Kamen Rider Pluto - Antagonist (Evening Star) Forms: - Ophiuchus The main rider will be like Den-O with the personality changes, depending on the signs. It'll be like Rei/Zero from Saikyou Ginga Ultimate Zero: Battle Spirits. Some of the other constellations will give some power-ups and upgrades. |
For a tertiary fusion Reiwa rider, which Reiwa rider would be compatible with Heisei rider Gills?
Jin, Horobi or Thouser? |
I don't have all the details worked out, but I was thinking about the possibility of toku set in worlds other than present-day Earth, and that grew into this idea I call Kamen Rider Mars!
It's the story of the twin Akahoshi brothers, Fumito and Daichi, nicknamed the "sons of Mars" because they were the first humans to be born in a Mars colony, the sons of important scientists. They were both raised to feel like Mars's future was in their hands, but they reacted to that "destiny" in very different ways: Fumito stayed in Dome City One and entered politics, eventually becoming governor of the whole colony and quite influential in Martian politics as a whole, while Daichi left to explore Mars and help people in need, and gradually became known as a folk hero. But when a secret organization calling itself Exterra kidnaps Fumito to experiment on, Daichi is called home to Dome City One to rescue him, and Mrs. Akahoshi gives him the Mars Driver that she and their father built before their father went missing, allowing Daichi to become Kamen Rider Mars Deimos! But mysteriously, Exterra also has a Mars Driver, which Fumito takes during the escape and uses to become Kamen Rider Mars Phobos! That's right, Kamen Rider Mars is not one Rider, but two! Basically, I'm taking the concept of the second Rider getting their own plot instead of just being the main Rider's partner to its logical extreme, and saying they're both the main Rider. Similar to how not all Riders use their full titles in the series (like Wizard just being called the "ringed magician" and all the Riders from Gaim being called Armored Riders), they might shorten their names to just Kamen Rider Phobos and Kamen Rider Deimos, but officially they are both Kamen Rider Mars. Together, the twin Mars Riders fight to save the people of the colonies from Exterra's sinister experiments. Just one problem: The brothers may have been best friends as kids, but now they don't get along at all! Fumito sees Daichi as an undisciplined showoff who rushes recklessly into things and then runs away from the consequences, while Daichi sees Fumito as a stuck-up control freak who never acts without a complicated plan and expects everyone to follow his lead. Their relationship gradually improving, and the many arguments they have along the way (from silly things like "who says their catchphrase first?" to deadly serious like "do we endanger a whole group of people to save one?"), would drive a lot of the show's comedy and drama. The third Rider is a mysterious young woman named Ari, who seems emotionless a lot of the time but sometimes shows hints of being shy, awkward and sweet. Like the brothers, she was born on Mars, but she has no idea who her family is and might even be a clone. She was raised in secrecy and isolation, given barely any human contact and trained to be a weapon. Exterra brings her out of hiding and gives her the DiscorDriver which she uses to become Kamen Rider Eris! But after seeing how the brothers still love each other even when they're fighting, Ari runs away from Exterra and stumbles her way to Dome City One. Mrs. Akahoshi finds her and brings her to her house so she'll have a place to stay, and Ari reveals that the one thing she wants most is a loving family, so Mrs. Akahoshi basically decides to adopt her. The brothers are surprised by this at first, but she actually brings some much-needed calm to their family. I don't know what their collectables/forms or arsenal should be yet, but I figure their suits should be inspired by space suits (but different from Fourze), maybe with red eyes and accents for Phobos and blue for Deimos? And it would be cool if they used identical weapons with 2 modes, that transformed in a way where it was mainly red in the mode Phobos favors and mainly blue in the mode Deimos favors. In case you couldn't tell, the big theme of this season is family. |
I need help with my space rider idea.
Time travel was used twice on Den-O & Zi-O. Need something better after Fourze. In Den-O, they used time traveling with fairy tales on trains! So there must be some other way to introduce another space theme. Constellations? Planets? Or anything outside of it can come close to or adapt to space themes in some way? |

I need help making an Angel Rider vs Demon Rider series!
Angel Rider: Rider Forms (based on Seven Heavenly Virtues):
Rider Forms (based on Seven Deadly Sins):
Know such a good rider system to make out of it? As well as key items/gimmicks? I'm thinking of the protagonists. Where one died a peaceful death, coming back as an angel to help those in need. While the other who was a kind yet weak person like Akira Fudo, gets possessed and changed by a demon. |
Quote:
Personally, I wouldn't want to go with something this specific to Christianity, but the simplest idea I can think of for the collectables is crosses that go into the angel driver right-side-up but the demon driver upside-down (even though an upside-down cross isn't actually a demonic symbol) |
Oh, I could also use some help coming up with forms and collectables for Kamen Rider Mars, if anyone has ideas! Zodiac signs seem like the obvious choice, but I'm already using those for my Kamen Rider Stardust idea (which is basically Kamen Riders as idol gladiators). My next thought after that was technology, but that seems really similar to Fourze's Astroswitches. Maybe planets? Does it make sense to have forms based on other planets even though they're only on Mars?
|
Ghost had an angelic vibe & Kiva with a demonic vibe. Which is the reason why I'm saving my Angel Rider vs Demon Rider for my fusion rider concept.
There are angel vibes in Agito too in some way. Anyway, anyone have a good gimmicks for what I'm working on? Ghost got the eyes (eye-shaped balls) & Kiva got whistles. What would be unique for an angel rider & a demon rider? Look at Lupinranger vs Patranger. |
You know what, I feel like sharing since it was brought up in Dreamcastergirl's thread.
I want to share my video game Rider, Kamen Rider Rez and the eventual reboot, Kamen Rider Re:Rez. The basic idea behind both series were that there would be this organization of digital enhanced humans known as EXE, they'd be winks and nods to various video game characters but toku-monsterfied if that makes any sense. I had a large variety of picks ranging from like Mr. Game & Watch to characters like Xigbar from Kingdom Hearts. In both cases it would be up to the son of a genius scientist to fight them as Kamen Rider Rez/Re:Rez! So let's start shall we? KAMEN RIDER REZ: A Warrior who uses the handheld styled Rez Driver and Bio-Cartridges to transform. -Platform Style (Base Form): It's specializes in agility, jumping, and is primarily a hand to hand form. Though it's kicks are the strongest. -Strike Style (Alt Form): It's specialized in sword-play and weapon based combat, it's weapons being beam sabers that could combine into a beam spear. -Artillery Style (Alt Form): A heavier more protective form that focuses on defense and shooting. While it has various boosters to help with strafing, it's very much a tank-like form, wielding two rifles that can combine together to create a bigger buster rifle. -Burst Style (Upgrade Form): A combination of the base and alt forms into a more well rounded form. Though this means while it is more powerful it doesn't specialize in anything. It's main weapon is a mounted shield gun that can accumulate energy into a beam saber. It's main feature however is by entering the Konami Code onto the Driver (Yes it has those buttons on it, lol) it gains a gold shine to it and enters a Burst Mode for 5 minutes. It basically pushes the form to it's limits and is a last resort. If it exceeds 5 minutes the form burns out and the Driver enters a reboot mode. -Blitz Style (Super Form): A racing styled form with various exhaust pipes that generates a lot of heat. So much so that this form is not only a speed based form with super speed based attacks, but also a fire based form as well. -Ultima Style (Final Form): A form achieved by utilizing Lock On Technology to combine the Blitz and Ultima Cartridges to create of all things, an RPG based form. By using Ultima Summon, Rez can summon any of his previous styles to fight alongside him. Another ability is Ultima Roullete which allows him to pick three of the five original styles to perform a powerful combination attack. And that's all for Rez in terms of forms I figured out for him. Now moving onto Re:Rez who's a bit more coherent in terms of upgrade paths but also a lot more involved and a lot more forms. Some of this may sound familiar at first though but it is basically an evolved concept. KAMEN RIDER RE:REZ: A warrior born by utilizing the Re:Rez Driver and Bio-Cards. This version also has a helpful AI named S.A.R.A (Security Application & Research Analyzer). -Solo Mode: The base form of Re:Rez, offers basic enhancements and comes packed with the Rez Calibur sword and Rez Buster pistol. It's main ability is to gain armor for various different abilities.
-Debug Mode: An upgrade form of Re:Rez that offers enhancements in all aspects above Solo Mode, and provides access to the Platform, Action, and Shooter abilities and armaments without the need of utilizing those Bio-Cards. This comes with the drawback of a glitch that locks Re:Rez out of manual control and into automatic mode, leaving little restraint when using its power.
-Re:Mix Mode: A proper continuation of Solo Mode, offers stats just under Action-Re:Play Armor, but with a gimmick that allows it to go beyond it. As it is able to enhance prior Armor Bio-Cards.
-Co-Op Mode: The Final Form of the Re:Rez System. By utilizing Sara to her full potential, Co-Op Mode is able to be achieved. It has a fantasy/knight motif and a primarily red coloration. It's fantasy motif is to emulate RPG's due to it's main ability of being able to summon any of his prior forms. The Co-Op nature comes in with Sara being able to control these forms to create a strong unified team-up. Sara is also able to split her consciousness three ways to control three forms at once and create a full party of four.
And that's Rez and Re:Rez! Sorry if this is a bit of a long post but I felt the need to share. There's also other ideas, mostly from the Rez side of things, like Kamen Rider Arcade, which would have been a Secondary Rider with an arcade motif. But I think this is all I can muster for tonight so maybe next time. |
Sounds like a more realized version of Ex-Aid, which is pretty neat! This sounds like a cool game idea, and being an original Rider makes it more interesting.
|
I have a rough idea of Kamen Rider Mars's forms, based on various space phenomena:
Forms unique to Kamen Rider Mars Deimos: - Lightspeed Mode, base form with blinding speed - Binary Star Mode, super form with higher overall stats, can only be activated by both brothers together - Timewarp Mode, mobility form with teleportation powers, but prolonged use damages the user's body - Supernova Mode, ultimate form with high speed and explosive powers Forms unique to Kamen Rider Mars Phobos: - Gravity Mode, base form with crushing strength - Binary Star Mode, super form with higher overall stats, can only be activated by both brothers together - Alien Mode, berserker form with razor claws and regeneration, but it makes the user act like a feral beast - Black Hole Mode, ultimate form with high strength and gravity control Forms unique to Kamen Rider Eris: - Vacuum Mode, base form that can absorb energy - Dark Matter Mode, ultimate form that can absorb energy and use it to form constructs (weapons, shields, blasts, etc.) Forms traded between the riders: - Comet Mode, melee form with icy punches - Eclipse Mode, stealth form that can turn invisible - Asteroid Mode, defense form with rocky armor - Solar Flare Mode, gunner form with flaming bullets - Magnetic Mode, hacking form that can interfere with technology - Nebula Mode, evasion form that can turn into gas (yes, like Sabela) |
Just wondering if you know that Kamen Rider Mars is already a real thing. I love your idea though!

Anyway thanks, I'm glad you like it! :D |

Re:Rez was me sorta wanting to just refine the concept in general now that I've seen Rider go through the motions more, saw what Ex-Aid did, etc. Aside from just being a character I redid I don't have much going for him beyond basic concept stuff. Maybe one day I'll write a story, but I've got other projects I'm attending to at the moment. |
So, a pretty rough idea I've been working on recently. Moving forward, we'll call it 'Kamen Rider Generations'.
In Neon City (I like super futuristic settings, lol), there was an evil organization of cultists, psychics, and dark artists, who were obsessed with bringing their Abyssal Lords into our world and were the cause of a lot of missing people's cases. Fortunately, when the police failed, there was one hero who could put them in their place. A man on a motorcycle who wore a mask; Kamen Rider Star. Fast forward to modern day. It's been 25 years and Star is now 45, working as a mechanic. When a string of missing cases happen again and mysterious rumors start spreading around, Star becomes suspicious before eventually finding out that the cult is not only operational again, but have actually succeeded...somewhat. They haven't fully brought their Masters into their world, but they were able to get a sample of their DNA and have been injecting it into their mooks, thus creating their legion of Abyssmen, who's goal is to grow stronger by consuming the Life Energy of Humans, grow strong enough to Evolve, and lay an egg to give birth to a perfected Abyssal Lord, who will be their new lord and master and probably take over, if not destroy, the world. Kamen Rider Star's suit would have some grafted on scars, perhaps a tattered scarf or cape, with some noticeable patch jobs. Star has seen some stuff and he's considerably older. But it's not about age, it's experience. And would fight with a myriad of special moves. A few examples at the top of my head would be... Heavy Hurricane: A clothesline/lariat where he grabs someone with his forearm and spins them in place, creating a literal hurricane before he slams his target on the ground, with anyone sucked into his vortex would hit the floor. His suit would open up small vents to increase his speed and generate the wind. Nitro Knuckle: Jets would pop up from his right arm, propelling him forward before he gives a right hook to someone. And, of course, the iconic Rider Kick: Where his kicking leg would be supercharged with electricity before he does the iconic move. His suit would have all sorts of built-in augmentations to perform these moves, being a suped-up version of the Showa-Era Riders and all of their moves and gadgets. Meanwhile, while Star is dealing with cultists, he's also helping out his College-Aged Niece, who's living with him for some reason or another. At first glance, she's just a side character for Star to interact with, but unbeknownst to him for a few episodes, she would actually be moonlighting as a masked vigilante herself: Kamen Rider Heart! Heart's parents would've been sacrificed to this cult before the show and that is how they would've gotten the DNA for the Abyssmen. Being there when it happened, she saw the first hand the incantations and rituals that they had performed to get as close as they did and decided to use the dark arts against them and created the Wicked Hearts, little heart-shaped trinkets that, when inserted into her belt, will activate some kind of magical power. (This is one of those details I'm not 100% sure on, cause I can't think of some kind of "Collectible Power-Up" to give Heart or what kind of theme they'd have and the 'Wicked Hearts' are kind of loosely defined and, well, I don't like 'em. It's just the best I came up with.) And, finally, the Abyssmen would have a fish-theme to them, effectively sea-life twisted into monstrous forms, a poor imitation of the Abyss Lords they were mutated from. (You know, basically Lovecraftian Horrors WITHOUT risking copyright law, lol.) |
Kamen Rider Kizo (仮面ライダーキゾウ), inspired by Kamen Rider OOO but with keys instead of medals
Plot: About 555 years ago, the world was living happily ever after. Then, one day, Drathmok and his legion of evil, the Sethonia tribe, attacked earth in search for the Magi Keys, specially-powered keys that can fuse with their own Sethonian rings to create an all-powerful weapon that can destroy planets and even galaxies. The easternmost part of the earth which is where the Zipango Kingdom (inspired by ancient Japan) is located in became the Sethonia Tribe’s first target. Soon they realize that they are in for a treat, finding out that the keys are located in a forest there. The Zipango Kingdom then sent three powerful people to the battlefront and trusted them with the keys, transforming them into what we know now as Kizo, Master Rider 2 (that is the name for now), and Master Rider 3 (that is the name for now). (The name Kizo is a portmanteau of Kizu + Ō. Kizu had two meaning whereas Ō in both cases means King. The first meaning means Scar King, since he is known to have a large scar on his right cheek while fighting Drathmok, and the second meaning means Keys King, since he used the powerful Magi Keys to destroy evil). They managed to destroy Drathmok and his legion, sending them to outer space. In the year 2021, everything felt normal. But, in the year 2022, everything changed. As scientists have predicted, an oncoming danger is imminent and will shake up the world, especially countries like Japan, China, USA, Russia and much more. Soon enough, the science and research sector of the SPENCER Team (Special Network of Cyber Elite Response Team, named after their founder half-American Spencer Kobayashi) went on to planet K-6S291 to do research only to accidentally release a sleeping Drathmok, killing them all. Drathmok and his legion then took their spaceship and went back to earth to cause mayhem. This time, a scientist of the SPENCER Team (who stayed at home and therefore survived), had just found the lost Magi Keys. His name is Dr. Ryo Nakajima. Paired with his own-created device that is compatible with the mystical/magical nature of the keys, he is ready to destroy evil and save the world. However, realizing that the keys had chosen his son, Joe as the user of the belt instead, he had no choice but to reluctantly give it to him. With the device, the keys, and his two friends, he (Joe) sets out to make sure that Drathmok and his legion will once again fail in trying to destroy the world. Kizo Base Forms: Base Flare Aquafreeze Storm Terra Kizo, Advanced Forms: Advanced Mighty Advanced Evolution Kizo Final Forms: Ultimate BeyondFinal this is just a random idea lol |
Rider Series: Kamen Rider Starc
Theme: Tarot Cards, Celebrities Key Item: Fate Cards Ten years ago, the earth was invaded by an alien army called the Geddon. While they posed a serious threat to humanity, salvation soon came from the Geddons rivals, the Arcana. The Arcana gave humans devices called Fate Cards that transformed them into Tarot card themed Kamen Riders to fight off the Geddon. Soon, the Geddon leaders fled the earth. The Arcana followed them, leaving the Fate Cards with their closest human ally, Masumi Kido, in case they were needed on earth again. Not long after, more Geddon monsters began appearing seemingly from nowhere. Masumi gave the Fate Cards to new Riders amd decided to document their fight against these monsters. These "documentaries" quickly made Masumi rich and famous, giving him to idea to create the Fate Fighter reality show. Each season, aspiring stars and performers would become Riders and fight the Geddon on television, competing with each other to gain fame and glory. This year however, one of the Riders is seeking more than just fame. Kenta Tatsumi knows that there's more going than most people think and that something sinister is at works behind the scenes. As Kamen Rider Starc, he attempts to investigate the creators of the show, find the truth behind the Geddon and recruit as many other Riders as he can to help expose the true villains. The Riders suits are themed after Tarot cards while their personalities and motivations are based on different kinds of celebrities. Actors, athletes, idols etc. Name: Kamen Rider Starc Civilian Name: Kenta Tatsumi Forms: The Star (Main Form) The Sun and The Moon (Upgrade Forms) The World (Super Form) Justice (Final Form) Arsenal Belt: Arcana Driver Weapons: Stellar Saber Allies: Toki Shiba/Kamen Rider Force An athlete who seeks to test his strength against the Geddon Forms Strength The Tower The Emperor Naki Imamura/Kamen Rider Charm An aspiring actress hoping to launch her career by being in Fate Fighter. However, his attitude is more than just an act. Forms: Death Devil Angelo/Kamen Rider Host The host of Fate Fighters who joins the fighting when the mysterious Producers want more excitement. Inspired by William Hartnell's doctor who's dumentary, (An Adventure in Space and Time) , doctor who's van gogh episode, and Hesei Generation Forever meta story,
I want that someday, there's an actor who play as Shotaro Ishinomori that invited to future+kamen rider universe, and meet the current Kamen Rider (in my mind, Saber would suit it best since he is an author too, but oh well) |

His friends are tomboy girl Mirai Kamigawa whose rider form, Kamen Rider Winger is based on the phoenix and guy athlete Kazuo Oogami whose rider form, Kamen Rider Velzion is themed after the wolf. Besides that, he also has a nerdy friend named Shaun Kobayashi (son of the SPENCER Team founder) who has no rider form but can use a gun to help fight Drathmok and his evil legion. Mirai received her powers after retrieving a blank Magi Key and focusing on her will/resolve to fight, giving her the power of the sky (phoenix). Kazuo on the other hand received his powers from a Magi Key that was glowing at night. This Magi Key gaver him the power of the moon (wolf). Kizo is based on the sun (and other elements), Velzion is based on the moon and Winger is based on the sky where you can see the sun and the moon. |

Reiwa's got a new rider called Revice! And the best fusion for that is.... FAIZ!
Revice + Faiz = Kamen Rider Fuzor Immortal |
I've been thinking more about the "new remodeled human" idea (from way back on page 4 of this thread and also this other thread about why the remodeled human trope has been fading from Kamen Rider lately), and I've come up with a concept I think has potential. It's a little like Ex-Aid without the videogame aspect.
Running forward to the future, it's the bionic Rider, Kamen Rider Sprint! Our main rider is Kamen Rider Sprint (no surprise there), a former motocross racer who lost the use of his legs in a crash that ended his career, which left him in a deep depression, feeling like he had no reason to live. As if that wasn't bad enough, his injuries became infected with a virus that causes the victim to merge with nearby machines and become a monster called an Invector (a combination of "invent" "infect" and "vector" as in a disease vector). He's saved from his monster form by the secondary rider, who recruits him into Saisei (Japanese for "rebirth), an organization dedicated to protecting humanity from the Invector virus. Since our hero has been exposed to the virus already, he's now a perfect candidate to become a Kamen Rider himself, and Saisei rebuilds his legs with advanced bionics (and provides him medicine to keep the side-effects at bay) in exchange for him fighting for them. The series collectables are Medichips, computer chips created by Saisei to aid in curing Invected. When used in a driver, they boost the rider's bionics with powers based on various medical tools and technologies. Sprint's main Medichip is the Splint Medichip (which he also chose his rider name based on), which greatly strengthens bionic limbs, and his bionic location is his lower legs. Even with the Splint Medichip, his bionic legs often take quite a beating during battle, so Saisei provided him with a specially designed vehicle, the Support Wheeler, which can transform between a dirt bike to let him put his old motocross skills to use and a wheelchair to help him get around when his legs need repairing. The secondary rider is Kamen Rider Blink, the former head of a swordsmanship school who was blinded in a tournament by a rival fighting dirty. Like Sprint - and all other riders in this series - his injuries were infected by the virus, although he actually managed to restrain his Invector form long enough for non-riders to defeat and cure him. Because the infection was too close to his brain, it wasn't possible to fully restore his sight, but he has a visor-like bionic implant that allows him some amount of vision (and in rider form it replaces the traditional bug eyes). He acts as a mentor figure to Sprint and the other less experienced riders. His main Medichip is XRay, which enhances his visor and lets him easily identify an enemy's weak points, and he wields the Shiroken, a white guidance cane that can be enhanced with the Scalpel Medichip to make it work like an ultra-sharp sword. I'm still working out the details about the other riders, but I know their names: Voice and Echo, twin sisters who used to be idol singers, and Scar, who had one side of his body badly burned. And the big reveal is that the Invector virus was artificially created, by a scientist who used to be partners with the head of Saisei Labs. They were trying to find a way to make bionic implants integrate more easily with the patient's body (which is both why Invectors merge with machines and why those who recover from the virus are able to become Kamen Riders), the one who became Saisei's leader wanted to use bionics to heal people who were hurt, but their partner decided this technology should be used to "weed out the weak" and used it to create the virus that enters people's bodies through existing wounds (not necessarily disabling ones, most victims have much more "everyday" injuries) and turns them into Invectors. |
I'm, like, a month late on saying this, but this would make for an awesome series! I really like the direction you take the "new remodeled human" theme of old and turned it into something that's a bit more common nowadays, real, and still gives it something that can be hopeful for the future of technology helping the disabled and something of a awareness for people with these disabilities and how they affect their lives.
...Also, I just think it's really cool. Like, this might sound messed up, but I like the idea of Sprint's legs getting messed up in his fights. It gives the action a bit more weight. And I'm a sucker for characters that have a high emphasis on their kicks. |
Live, thread! Live!!!
I had a new idea, inspired mainly by the early "Geats is a viking" rumor and fantasy RPGs: From the magical world of Runegard, a warrior has come to Earth. His name: Kamen Rider Viktor! But is he here to protect, or to conquer? Our main rider is Kamen Rider Viktor, AKA Vikor Aegis (nicknamed "Vikkun" by an Earthling friend), an uncouth, hotheaded man who just does whatever he wants, but he has a strong sense of honor and can't stand those who prey on people weaker than themselves. While he does protect people from monsters, at first his main motivation is just the love of a good fight, while the heart of his character development is about learning to care for the people around him and fight for a greater cause. The second rider is Kamen Rider Sylvan, AKA Sylvan De Rafiliam, a polite, refined but somewhat stuck-up elf lady who wants to live a peaceful life. Unlike Viktor, she doesn't enjoy fighting at all, but reluctantly takes up arms to protect her new home on Earth, and shows she can be a very skilled fighter when needed. However, she doesn't reach true power until she overcomes her hesitation and accepts that in order to protect the peace of others, she must be willing to give up that peace herself and fight with her whole heart. And the third rider is Kamen Rider Keiji, AKA Saito Keiji, an earnest and hardworking policeman from Earth, who happens to be assigned to the area where Viktor, Sylvan and various other Runegarder immigrants live. At first he has trouble interacting with Runegarders, but as he gets to know them better he becomes their steadfast ally and even stands up for them against his prejudiced higher-ups, culminating in being the first Earthling to transform with Runegardian magic! There would be more Riders, with varying levels of plot importance, but those three would be the most focused on. The story is that portals have started opening between Runegard and Earth, seemingly at random, allowing people to pass from one world to the other, though most are unstable and close after a short time. But Runegard, as a world of magic, is also inhabited by monsters, which wreak havoc when they come through a portal to Earth. The first arc is mostly-episodic battles against these monsters, but with some ongoing plots about the Runegarder characters adjusting to life on Earth and the Earthling characters learning more about Runegard. In the second arc, the intro changes to: From the magical world of Runegard, an army has come to Earth! Their name: The Jadheim Empire! Will the Kamen Riders side with them, or against them? The second arc begins when magic scholars of the Jadheim Empire figure out how to make stable portals, and begin sending through lone warriors (other Kamen Riders) or small strike forces (Iron Troopers, Rider-like footsoldiers). At first they claim their goal is to protect Earth from monsters, but Viktor never trusts them, and soon exposes their true goal: Laying the groundwork for an invasion! Once exposed, they drop the pretense and start attacking openly, unleashing captured monsters, along with their more elite warriors... including Viktor's younger brother, Kamen Rider Connor, AKA Prince Connor Aegis Von Jadheim! And in the third and final arc, the intro changes again: From the scientific world of Earth, Kamen Rider Viktor has returned to Runegard. His true name: Prince Viktor Aegis Von Jadheim! But will his quest bring freedom, or destruction? The second arc ended with Viktor and his allies stopping the Jadheim invasion, but in the process getting stranded in Runegard. So in the third arc, they continue their war against the Jadheim Empire while also searching for a way home. During this, the other characters learn the truth of Viktor's past: He was once the crown prince of Jadheim, but despised their oppressive rule and ran away to Earth to live a carefree life. Now home and faced with the responsibilities he'd abandoned, he fights to free Runegard from his own family's tyranny, and eventually he'll have to decide whether to claim the throne for himself, or destroy the Empire entirely... |
