When does this contest close?

That's a really nice package! If I were lucky enough to win and have the choice I'd still personally prefer the Kamen Rider one but I certainly wouldn't be disappointed with this one.

These packages just keep getting better. The Soul of Chokogin (sp?) Megazord is such an awesome touch to the Power Rangers package, and the SIC Gaim is a gorgeous addition to the Kamen Rider one. The sentai set is the "weakest" so far (just personal taste), but with the minipla and Kyurenoh is still an awesome package.

What day is the drawing being done, are any of the galleries (if are) posted this month up until then going to be eligible?

Six years on and still doing this, such an awesome contest you guys, shows a lot of love for this community.

From what's been said already, the drawing will be three days ago and the final pack will be announced sometime before then.

Guess Chris forgot to make the announcement here, the toybox is still going on. On the official twitter, he unveiled that he’s added more stuff to the Sentai pack, the 3 Yu-Do Kyuranger figures

We'll announce the "Other Toku" prize package tomorrow (Tuesday), and run the contest through Sunday, at which point we will draw names and announce winners.

I don't think the randomizer takes birthdays into account.

I'm pretty sure they were just saying it's a neat coincidence. If they won, it'd be a nice present.

The way the drawing will work is this:

- An eligible gallery is randomly selected
- In that thread, a random post is selected
- That winner is contacted and given 24 hours to respond
- - If they respond, they choose the prize package they wish, and the process repeats for the next winner (with a list of remaining prize packages available)
- - If they fail to respond in 24 hours, we repeat the process
- Once all winners have been selected and they've responded, we will do a front page post with the winners announcement and what they've won.

Items will then be shipped out over the course of the next 2 weeks. Last year we tried to simplify by sending everything to one staff member to send out. That didn't work and took MONTHS to conclude. This year, I personally have all the items and gathered them during the course of the contest (minus one which will be shipped from the contributor personally) which means I ship out four packages and that's it.

Shipping will include tracking and insurance. Once we ship it, we're no longer responsible for it. No "refunds", no item replacements, etc. So once it's shipped and you have the tracking info, be diligent in making sure the package can be obtained at the address you've given us.

Then you should probably post in every 2017 gallery to increase your chances. Remember, the posts have to be relevant so you can't just say "Here's my post for the contest"

So after procrastinating a lot and only ever entering once, I finally decided to go through all of the galleries and gave my thoughts on the various figures/toys shown off.

It was actually fun to go through all the different Figuarts and Figures in general, there were so many I had no clue were even released. And it's also fun to revisit a bunch of series through figures in a sense and it reminded me that Tokusatsu Toys and Figures can range from Awesome to Meh to Weird to Why? to Cool.

And also I'd like to say props for you all that keep putting up these galleries, I know it must take a lot of work, time and patience and it's just fun to see what kind of photos and interactions you can come up with.

Out of curiosity, do you have a way to make sure people aren't spamming to get more chances?

Posts have to be relevant to the galleries, meaning you can't go "Here's my toku toy box entry" 40+ times

Wait I thought you were only allowed one entry per gallery. With this system you could do as many as you want.

Yes. Without going in to details that could then allow creative and technical folks a way to work around it, we have failsafes in place with both automated and physical checks.

If you post in ALL eligible galleries, that means no matter what gallery is randomly selected to then randomly select a post, you have a chance to win.

This is not new. This has been outlined since December 1st. It's why we said "post in every gallery to increase your chances to win".

I think he was saying if someone makes multiple posts in a gallery because of this line:

So, say I made fifteen posts in the SS Skull gallery, he's asking would that then increase the odds of one of my posts being selected against someone who only posted once?

But yeah, it's one poster per gallery, basically.

Once a thread is randomly selected, before a post is randomly selected, we'll go through and remove any multiple posts.

Let me clarify. I'm not going to go in and delete discussions. Nor am I going to discourage discussions from taking place. However, only your FIRST POST in each gallery thread that's eligible will count.
