Well, Hasbro's PR team is gonna be different from their TF team, and they probably won't have any help from Takara in developing zord figures, either, so it might be a little more rough.
Unless BOJ is willing to help. |
Couple ideas I had which are mainly MMPR villain related, beyond the obvious ones of Goldar/Rita/Zedd/Ooze;
Lightning Collection; *Putty Patroller with swappable arm weapons *Silver Horns *Mutitus Form 2 *Emperor Grumm (he never got a toy and that sucks, so he's an ideal candidate for this) *Dino Megazord, Dragonzord, Cyclopsis Non-reductible figures modeled after the suits. *Commander Crayfish and the Mutant Rangers (easy box set to make as a website exclusive or whatever) *Command Center Playset with Zordon tube (I figure Alpha will happen eventually as an individual release) GIANT SPACE ALIENS Upscaled versions of monsters from the Lightning Collection that are sized to display with the combining Megazords at around 8-10 inches. Could throw in some curveballs on occasion, like the LC Scorpina would be human form, and the Giant figure would be the monster form. Hornitor/Scorpitron double pack, with some swappable parts to create Titan Ivan. Serpentera - The biggest of them all! |
The school principal from MMPR complete with toupee. The [insert convention name here] exclusive variant will be him with a drenched version of the toupee and he will have red clear glaze paint finish here and there to replicate him being soaked in red fruit punch. :lolol

I hope Hasbro will be produce Bulk and Skull figure :D
|
If they make Hyperforce Yellow, we might get Bulk :p

That moment when you realized Hasbro most likely can't make Cole actor likeness head. For obvious reasons.

Do we think we'll be getting the various super forms? Like get the regular SPD team, then get the SWAT versions? Or Battlizers?
Hell, Hasbro could pump out probably a year or more worth of figures just based on all the super forms from Samurai. |

I wouldn't be too surprised if the alternate heads are dropped soon. Not only would they have to license each individual actors' likenesses for each figure, just one person saying no while the rest of the team approves will throw things off. After the first few waves (Or even just the first wave), I kind of expect it to be dropped.

EDIT: nevermind, I looked it up. Yeah, a murderous adult sword-owner probably shouldn't see further recognition in a children's action show. |

If you think this fact makes watching Wild Force hard, try watching Samurai where he plays a villain that talks to his sword. And he's a little too good at it.
|
For Ninja Storm I wonder if they will also include the helmet heads that expose the faces, the one where the visor and mouthguard part is retracted.

I would like to see Rita have swappable faces - a laughing face and a "AGGGH I'VE GOT A HEADACHE" face.

I think Toei/Bandai could work with Hasbro.

You can choose to believe me. But i have seen the Power Rangers Hasbro line up for spring. The initial batch of lightning collection has Beast Red , Blue , Yellow and MMPR White. They will be out in May.
The more kid oriented stuff will be out in April. They will be 6inch and include some piece that connects to the morpher. We will also see deluxe versions of The red and blue beast bots We also get masks , titan heroes and a 6inch zord line. In Aug we will see hasbro take the transformers combiner approach to zords with leader class like red and gold zords and deluxe like blue , yellow and silver. Among a playschool line and blindbox items |

Different, cheaper options over the flawed Go-Busters figuarts and more or less confirmation that we'll eventually get Beet and Stag too? I'm game!

Was expected that Beast Morphers would be the earliest lightning collection too. Get the likeness licenses done now while you got the actors on staff/under contract. No idea what they're going to do for the "questionable history" rangers though on that. Those would likely be a skip on swap heads and bumped way to the back of the list for now, or offer some kind of alternative route. But they do want to keep the swap heads for as many as possible. Comic characters and Hyper Force are possible too. The Zord line is correct entirely though. Was one of the driving reasons for the purchase in general. The CW system was developed at Hasbro anyway. As for wider shows. A few are still in rights limbo of unknown areas. But some surprises are in store when all the finer details can be ironed out. Tir Na Nog isn't on any kind of radar for now, nor Beetleborgs for now, but Riders and extended side heroes are(Jiraiya), as well as VR Troopers(maybe). But again, that's pending getting the finer details worked out first. Riders right now are solely only focused on anything used in show. Nothing more as yet, and even that's debatable for now. |
Well, here's hoping the Lightning Collection lasts for years to come, because it's the closest thing we're gonna get to collector-quality Sentai figures.
