Watching the first episode of Beast Morphers triggered a wave of Nostalgia, prompting me to start binge watching the original series, for the first time since the early 2000's and deciding with the whole franchise available on Netflix, I might as well watch every episode of Power Rangers, ever. I was a huge fan of Power Rangers as a kid, before I got heavily into Transformers with the 07 movie, and I'm a big fan of Kamen Rider now. Hasbro making a collectors line for Power Rangers merges the three together, so I absolutely had to preorder the whole first wave. Never watched Dino Charge, but I loved Mighty Morphin and SPD, and with how good these figures look, I'm willing to take the risk of not liking Dino Charge Red when I eventually get to watching it. Kind of a long winded way of saying it, but I'm so excited to be a Power Rangers fan again!

They look great! However, I can't help but think that Magna Defender's sword is a bit on the short side. Like, maybe extend it by a centimetre or two.

This wave looks like it's another temptation for those of us who miss Sentai Figuarts and have resisted the Hasbro line so far.

And a massive agony for me as I haven't even seen Wave 1 hit Australia yet.

And you know what? Even though it's obvious how much better she is without having to compare, now that we finally have a female character in the toyline; I'm gonna compare her to her Legacy figure. Because I think it's good to highlight just how much better we have it now, and also it's funny

Why is the Magna Defender's belt grey? With all the other details there it just seems like weird thing to over look. Still a beautiful figure though.

Black Knight is the only figure from this wave I'm not super interested in picking up, but I am interested in seeing reviews of him. He's got a bulkier build and he's the first figure in the line to have a cape of any kind, so I want to see how those are handled.

My one reservation about the MMPR figures revealed so far is their Power Morphers/Dino Bucklers. They're not just small but very very flat, and it's the one area they don't beat Legacy in imo. It's a shame when the rest of the figure looks amazing; and at least it's not as much of a centerpiece of the design as a Rider's belt is.

At least the lightning ones have belts that are the right colors to start off :lol I'll never get over how they got the colors wrong on the first waves of Legacy collection.

I'm going to have to go to a couple Walgreens after work now.

I do hope we get a Lightening Collection megazord soon. Shogun megazord with the possible connection with the Legacy Ninja Falconzord. But that's a pipe dream. Maybe we'll get Lost Galaxy or Samurai. Maybe even Wild Force since there's already a Playskool version heading to stores.

What are the chances of getting Alpha-5 and Rita Repulsa figures?

Given they're MMPR and we've already got a non-ranger antagonist figure? I'd honestly say pretty high.
