There was a rumor a while back about a Fornite character being announced. Smash leaks are 99% fake and I will wait to see who we get. I would love it if it was Ryu Hayabusa. I wanted him since Brawl.

Same, Hayabusa would be great for smash. I think some people did mod him into brawl. And i think the only fighting game he's appeared in is soul calibur.

He was never in a SC game. He has been in the Dead or Alive games.

I don't think NieR has any games on a Nintendo system. At least, Joker was added to promote Persona 5 Strikers which is coming to the Switch. Even Cloud was added in Smash 4 because he still had Nintendo apperences (Theatrhythm Final Fantasy on the 3DS).

Okay so for those confused, Dungeon Fighter Online is my favorite MMO, so to see a fighting game being made by the same team that made Dragon Ball FighterZ, which is one of my favorite fighting games? This is a dream come true! REALLY hoping it gets localized!

Marvel vs. Capcom 3 turns 10 years old today and it felt like yesterday when the game came out. Before the game was announced in 2010, an MVC3 felt like a fan dream. The game started off as a hot mess, but the game did get better with Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. I do remember many people (including myself) that Capcom released Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom that same year for a cheaper price when people had to pay $60 for the normal version of the game.

Marvel had more control over the roster which is why some characters were added as promotions for movies. I still hope for a real MVC4 one day because I feel like enough time has passed for a brand new game.

Infact, UMvC3 is my favorite fighting game of all time. Despite how absolutely horrendous the netcode was, I loved this game.

It brought about a ton of great memories in terms of both gaming as well as online interactions I had, and the only reason I stopped playing was because college got in the way of most of my free time.

With the PC version of the game still going strong thanks to stuff like mods and Parsec, I really hope that one day the community can make the game their own, similar to what the modding community has done for games like Smash. Would love to have an "UMvC3+"

I will be surprised if Crash does not make it into Smash Ultimate because many people want him and his series is more relevant now unlike during the days of Brawl and Smash 4.

Purely because like... from what little I've seen of Astral Chain it's like, "These people use Stands" and we'd have more stand users like Joker who has his Persona.

Other than that I want Dante for the prophecy to be complete (That prophecy being the edit of Dante staring out into minecraft land and going "What the hell is this?")

My most absurd/insane pick isn't Sora, I sorta gave up on that with Sephiroth purely because Smash has three Square Enix reps now so I feel like we won't get another, especially in the same pass. No, it's Saber from Fate/Stay, because yes.

Season 2 of Smash is really quite underwhelming. So far, the only character that I give a shit about is Sephiroth, and even still that wasn't enough to convince me to buy a season pass.
And now we have anime sword girl with giant tits? I haven't been this disappointed since Byleth.

I would like to see another SEGA character.

If I'm dreaming, maybe NiGHTS or Shinobi.

From Capcom I would love Tron Bonne or Chun Li.

Knuckles is a trophy. Tails is the more likely option.

But I'm lukewarm on SEGA franchises. Gimme Amaterasu from Okami. Gimme Dante from the Devil May Cry series. Gimme Morrigan from Darkstalkers (If Pyra's giant ass tits can get in, then she's no longer taboo)

But considering the producer of this game (Bandai Namco), I'm surprised neither of their flagship fighters, Tekken or Soul Calibur, has any representation.

Namco is heavily lacking in representation compared to the other third parties so I'd enjoy a character from them.

That being said if we were getting another Sonic character, I'd love to see Eggman because I'll be real, I'd love to see more villain representation.

It's why I was really happy that Sephiroth got in because he helps add to the villains side more.

If we got another Sonic character, Eggman would be the most logical choice. It still feels strange that Shadow was not an echo fighter like Dark Samus and Dark Pit were.

As much as I would love Sora for Smash, you might be right, that or Disney won't let him slide. As for Saber (Altria, yes I read it like that, because the Katagana suggests that's the proper pronunciation, but I don't mind if you say it the other way) Depends if Visual Novels count or not, and maybe people don't want another sword character since we got TWO new sword girls on the field. Either that or you'll luck out and they pick Fate/Extra's Nero, since it's getting a remake.

My absurd picks would be: Chase McCain from LEGO City Undercover (because that's where he originated, so I guess it counts) Pepper Roni from LEGO Island, Phoenix Wright from Ace Attorney (hey, he made it in a Marvel vs Capcom game) Bentley Bear from Crystal Kingdoms (Get the gems, Bentley Bear), Earthworm Jim, or Chakan the Forever Man!

Chaos Legion is one of my least favorite video games of all time. I remember playing it on the PS2 and I hated every minute of it. I thought it was so repetitive and boring. I can see why some people like it, but the game left a bad taste in my mouth.

Having gotten a Play Station 3 last month I'm playing Super Street Fighter IV and Tekken 6

Seems this is one of the skins included in the Street Fighter pack -- it's included in the upcoming physical edition either way.

Said physical edition btw is 50 dollars -- given the roster has expanded to 23 fighters (including Ryu and Chun-Li) and has evolved in a wealth of other ways, I'd actually say that's a pretty decent amount of content for a full price game.

In fact, adding things up... base game is 20 dollars, each season pass was 15 dollars each, and according to IGN the street fighter pack is 12.50. All in all that's $77.50 -- so getting the collector's edition is almost a 30 dollar discount! It's just over 33% off, and that's permanent!

And let me tell you, as someone who got the game and each pass for full price as they came out and was offered no such discount, I am... very happy to see this! In general it's nice to see things get easier, cheaper and more accessible for people that come after me, but for a while I was starting to feel this game was getting a little overpriced? One of its original selling points, after all, was that it was very cheap for $20 -- so that even when considering its lack of content (which was made up for a little by bringing its roster up from 9 to 12 for free, alongside more free content later), it was still very good value and one that people with not a lot of cash could get into. With each season pass though that price mounted up and up, and given the roster almost doubled from those season passes it's hard to waive those off as extras. So seeing the price brought down to something like $50? As I said I think that does match the value and amount of content you're getting here. Extremely good move!

They're also apparently going to offering different "upgrade packs" for people with different editions of the game. Very nice move all around!

They also said this is 'not the end', basically confirming more DLC in the future (which I am very much for).

I'm interested to see what exactly those upgrade packs will consist of -- given they haven't said anything major about the May 25 update and the cost of the super edition altogether, I'm guessing it'll be along the lines of cheaper DLC packs?
