^^ Again you tease me with literally the only 3 Ultra-Acts I want :lol. I started watching Retsudan and Nexus this week and I'm liking what I've seen so far. S0 I went ahead and threw Mirror Knight and Jean-Bot on POL and preordered Glenfire

I did some hunting around, before trying Ebay. Decent prices and availability aren't easy to come by for Golza. One of the stores that was recommended here, Mandarake http://ekizo.mandarake.co.jp/shop/en/ ended up having the cheapest price even after shipping.

They deal with opened or damaged items which is why the prices are potentially lower. My Golza was opened and re-taped. That was it! The figure and accessories were still sealed in the inner plastic.

I may use them again soon for some other items that I'm thinking about grabbing. I think they still have one Golza left. Hope you track one down. :)

I shipped my POL from BBTS this week, which already included a pretty good number of Sentai and Rider Figuarts. And then I tacked on Ultra-Act Glenfire and Jean-Bird :) Can't wait to get them later this week. I am very excited to have these guys in hand.

I started watching Retsudan which I actually found to be the PERFECT intro into the franchise for me. Since it's a bit like a clip show that features a lot of Ultra history and backstory I found it to be exactly what I needed to get in. And now I've seen the Zero movies and have enjoyed the hell out of them! The production qualities are just so different and in some cases much higher than Rider and Sentai movies tend to be. I mean the scene with Zero flying between universes?! Holy hell that blew my mind!

I'd really just like an Ultraman and maybe an Ultra Seven if he got made, honestly. I'm more interested in the daikaiju, personally! I have seen a Baltan, Eleking, and Gomora, all of whom would be cool. No Redking, though? Heck, or Bemular? Bemular is freaking classic!

Or, to go with all the Tiga variants, Melba and Golza?

I know they have Belial as well, but I like my monsters more monster-y.

I'd like to see more kaiju in this line, and some of the figures you named are high on my list.

Awesome pics! I'm becoming more convinced to get Glenfire, even though I haven't seen the movie yet.

I am guessing the problem with daikiaju is that you can't use the basic buck for design and sculpt... each one would be unique. The ones I have seen have been fantastic looking, so even if they only release them rarely, they seem worth the wait!

Ultraseven already exists (so does Golza as you can see). The problem is that he hasn't been reissued and has become ridiculously scarce these days.

I don't know; Red King would just need a new head and some paint to become Aboras. The Baragon body used for Neronga could be recycled into like 3 or 4 other kaiju :)

The little I've watched of Leo's series was highly entertaining and I would have loved to preorder Astra considering how well Leo and Alien Magma turned out... but at the time Astra was competing with Golza for my money and there was simply no contest who would win. He'll be a pickup when I have the money for such a purchase.

I'm not familiar with these particular Ultras as I've only seen a couple of clips. Do the symbols on their stomachs have a particular meaning?

i just resetly got back into ultraman (i keep losing intrest couse someone spoils the whole show every time i try watching one) and i bought my first ultra act (gaia). any recomotions?

Would an Ultra-Act figure look too big next to a Bandai Ultra Series monster? The Ultra-Acts Ultraseven (for instance) is listed as 17 cm and most of the monsters are right about 16 cm. I think they might work for display purposes but I thought I would ask.

I got in Mirror Knight today, the team is finally complete, it was hard to get him into that sitting position on the rock though, felt like I was gonna break him or something, and the wrist ball joint was TIGHT!

Off topic a bit but while finishing up Revenge of Belial last night my fiance caught a glimpse and noticed it was alot different from the usual Rider and Ranger (she calls sentai power rangers) shows I watch. So she sat down for a minute to catch the epic action.... Then watched the whole damn movie with me and loved it :lol

She occasionally will watch an episode or 2 of a series wit me but rarely the entire thing at any given time. She was really impressed with this movie though. I think that's a pretty awesome example of just how well done that movie is and generally how good the Ultraman franchise is these days. I'm officially hooked.

That's how I feel, I honestly don't have the room for them to stand next to each other with those damn huge should pads, not to mention that I don't think Hayata would be able to take on the weight at all

I don't really care about the capes; more interested in getting the Taro, Jack, and Ace from that picture.

Elbows, knees and feet/ankles are all diecast.

If it's like that, then that's not good. The monsters should be his size or bigger... for the most part at least. I did a double take on Jack thinking that it was a redone Ultraman...

Thanks Cook. I am thinking it might work if I get Ultraman or Ultraseven or whomever in his crouched, "fighting stance" pose. That would make him visually shorter and it would break up the lines a bit. Assuming I can find one to drop the money on!
