The RKF of Espada sold out instantly on HLJ, so I made my first order ever from AmiAmi. I'm hoping it goes well.

I know this is the Saber toy thread, but does anyone know if RKF is going to continue doing Legend Rider Figures? Since W and Ohma Zi-O I haven't seen anything non-Saber related previewed in the RKF line.

It is something I was wondering as well; I was surprised to just see Saber-related RKFs in all the toy leaks. I guess the legend rider RKFs just didn’t do well?

Bare in mind that Build and Ex-Aid were mostly to fill in blanks that their original lines missed (Para-DX LV 99, Cronus, Lazer LV 0, Cross-Z, Evol) and W was to celebrate their 10 years milestone. So I’d just give it time.

Hopefully that means OOOs is up next

Not really, they done pretty much all the main stuff. And even then there’s a lot neither line covered like Brave Legacy, Poppy and Mad Rogue. LVUR also done Para-DX 99, and for some reason RKF even done Cross-Z charge. RKF done a couple things here and there that the gimmick lines didn’t do but filling holes was hardly the intent and has nothing to do with it, especially when each line is completely out of scale with the other.

W on the other hand felt a lot more like they were trying out a popular series to see if RKF Legend Rider would work out... and apparently it was a failure in their eyes if we’re getting nothing now.

Anyways, RKF's Legend Rider releases are dead. The first quarter log has been leaked entirely, and there are no RKF releases aside from Saber. It really is a shame though, since Legend Riders are actually the only reason I invested in the RKF line. It was a good compromise from SH Figuarts, ESPECIALLY on the aftermarket. Most RKF stuff is worth less than 10 bucks nowadays.

That’s one. His point still stands that really major players - like Cronus, base Cross-Z, and Evol were all skipped.

I can certainly see the argument that major characters previously skipped could have been a side goal... but, uh, also that you’d probably just make them if you’re making a legacy Build or Ex-Aid line. We were never not gonna get Evol or Cronus in this line whether the previous ones did it or not, and even then major figures like Brave Legacy and Mad Rogue were still skipped.

Either way I hardly see “filling in gaps” being the goal of a whole line in an entirely new scale that tried to be as comprehensive as possible, and hardly think that’s the reason we’re not seeing any more. I just find it a strange argument that LVUR not having Cronus is why the RKF legend line existed.

I don't...see what you're getting at? Just because RKF ended up releasing figures that never saw the light of day in their respective gimmick lines doesn't mean RKF existed to fill in blanks, which, by the way, makes absolutely zero sense still lol. They're completely different lines and not even in the same scale, so how exactly, in what capacity, does RKF fill in any gaps? Is SHF "filling in the blanks" too? They released a lot of figures that the gimmick lines never saw, either.

I'm just so confused as to why you believe that. Like previously stated, we got SO many more figures that already existed in a different line. They didn't call the subline "Legend Rider Series" for nothing. Did it ever occur to you, that at the rate they were churning our Legend Riders at the time, they were going to release those figures regardless of what the gimmick lines skipped?

And? We know they were skipped, and that's mutually exclusive from what RKF has been doing. His point is that RKF's subline, the Legend Rider Series, existed primarily to give us what the gimmick lines missed, which makes no sense. We have plenty of suits and forms that both lines covered, but also missed.

To summarise, the sword corrupts Wonder Ridebooks, by adding “Jaaku” to the start of their name, so Brave Dragon becomes Jaaku Brave Dragon.

And if a Legend Ridebook is scanned, it gets read as that Rider’s enemies (eg. Another Rider, Magia, Grongi).

You can actually find a closed spot in the original Rekka toy on where the SD Card would go. Bandai planned this from teh start!

I canNOT wait for the in-show justification here.

I modified a Decadriver to accept an SD card to future proof it. It's handy but it needs a card whenever there's a new Rider. That is much harder than a new sound alone. But the overall concept is a good one- though one I thought I'd never see officially.

Only thing I heard is that the new Rekka is for uploading in Touma dialogues that'll be downloadable on the website for this week's episode. Dunno if this'll be used to upload upgrades in tho.

I like to think they'll just release an entirely new sword for one of his super forms.

I have feeling the Saber Final Form will be have a new Sword in the belt.
