I just wish it came with an alternate pair of legs for the Rider Kick. It's a huge part of this form's' identity, I feel.

I think it could've fit had they separated it into segments that you can snap together. The accessory tray is actually really thin. And people complained about Latoratah's' lack of accessories!

The Musashi I picked up only because I wanted the extra closed hands to put on Damashi. But, it's actually a really nice looking piece and I may even like it a bit better than the base form figure. Unfortunately my Damashi piece came with a hair line crack on the front faceplate. The orange seems to have also faded into a yellow color but apparently that happens to a lot of copies. I may mod it by painting the faceplate the more show accurate orange and try to make a vinyl parka

Definitely a grail piece of my collection. It's too bad I don't have much shelf space to display it. Maybe sacrifices must be made ...

Yep, I got inspired by Tarai_You after watching his video. Some of his mods put Bandai to shame honestly. Dude even made a whole Saber figure before the SHF was announced

Every morning before going to work I would scope Ami-Ami's used section, and earlier this month Eternal landed in great condition. Eternal is always hovering around 30,000 yen though. Jungle has some copies for about the same price but I was not thrilled with the condition they were in (missing accessories, faded color )

How much was it exactly? Was it really pricey? Just an idea on how low it can go for. Or did you actually pay about $300 usd for him?

Yeah, Tarai_you's skill is amazing. That saber figuart looked great for a custom. Im especially fond of his sofubi customs for figure rise and shf.

28,440 yen. I'd say it hovers around 25,000 to 30,000. Mandarake has this same price too

HOLY MOLY GUACAMOLE that's a lot of money. Although for Eternal, that's a decent price.

SS Eternal and SS Hyper Kabuto demand a high price

Sofubi customs? Never seen him do that. All I remember of him was mostly SHF customs for auxiliary forms, final forms, or proportion mods.

Why does Eternal go for such a crazy high price? I get a main Rider's final form being in high demand, but a summer movie villain/anti-hero star of an extremely boring V-cin? Is Eternal one of those cases like Scissors, where the Japanese fandom has an unexplainable obsession?

And he got that V-Cin by being bloody popular. The Japanese fanbase really loves Double on its own (as evideced by both SS and SO-DO going for near-completion), and Eternal has the appeal of being a bad-boy misunderstod fallen hero with a well-liked design with a memorable starting role in the movie. He ended up being W's main rep in Zi-O, he's just that liked. Add to that Eternal being a PB release, and people are willing to pay the quid for him.

Still waiting on that Gold Xtreme, Seihou...

So, wait: Eternal's popularity isn't just a halo effect from SURPRISE DRIVE being the greatest theme song of all time? I did not think of that!

Oh man that MAFEX Miles. A shame most of their figures since Deadpool require shock oil in the hips, but I'm still excited to get mine next year!

Haha yeah I did have to oil one of his hips, but at least so far I also haven't felt like anything's about to snap, a common issue for other MAFEX I've seen and something that made me very nervous getting my first one, especially one so thin. But he's surprisingly sturdy.

Ever since their RoboCop figure, MAFEX's' QC has been steadily improving. But yeah, hips that are way too tight is unfortunately a common issue to this day.

The first purchase of 2021 was something that I had to let go of last year because of the 'rona. Figma Raphtalia! She now normally goes for 85$ on the aftermarket, found her for 60$ in good condition apart from a broken sword handle, which was easy to fix.
