The first one. I was torn between getting the Taiga accessory set (Rosso, Blu and Hellberus) or the Fuma one (Ginga, Victory and Segmeger), mostly due to my indecision whether to devote myself to a cosplay or go with the one where I had more opinions on the Ultras included. As you can see, I went with the latter (Now aiming to get the Fuma key holder)

So I entered the Team Rider Figuarts photo contest they held last month and ended up winning their Toei prize as a result, which just showed up today. Of course I'm grateful, but the problem is now I have two Zero-Ones lol. I'm surprised this was the chosen prize too considering I used Zero-One in the photo I submitted.

Got another couple packages in today; this one's a pretty neat one as for once I bought stuff that isn't figures! Sort of. I found an extremely good deal on Fourze Cosmic on Amiami, so I decided to take advantage of that and get my first Ultraman Z Medal set alongside it! They're the main thing I've opened so far; they're thicker than I thought they'd be and look lovely in person. I also found a Valkyrie plush on the site extremely discounted so I figured, hey, why not!

the EZ8 is one of my all-time favorite Gundam suits. I heard that figure is really good for the price too.

Wing on the other hand, I feel like I have so many other renditions of it. I hope we see some of the other OVA suits in the Gundam Universe line.

They're both fine. Of the three I've opened, RX-78-2 is my favorite, but I'm also biased as it's the best suit.
Honestly, I'd much prefer a Metal Build of Ez9, but Gundam Universe is a fine enough line, no reason to complain about it at all.

Man, the idea of buying non-model kit mech figures just seems so weird to me now :lol

They make a lot of them though. The Robot Spirits line is pretty darn great. I don't collect it because I like 1/100 scale, but then decided I wanted some cheaper ones I could play with at work, and also a smaller line so I wasn't tempted to get as many

Also, anyone else notice customs charges being calculate with shipment now, instead of having to wait for import charges to be raised when they reach your own country? Happened to me twice in the last week and honestly I'm a fan of it

If I recall, weren't there two variations of a Figma Samus? Which is this one?

This is based on her design from Prime 2 and 3 (which if you're not a nerd is also indistinguishable from her Prime 1 design). The other one is the design from Other M, which was subsequently used by Smash 3DS/Wii U and Smash Ultimate. Samus' many Varia Suit designs in general are very similar so unless you're super into Metroid or the character herself like me it's really smaller differences that would roll by you.

The Other M version is both easier and cheaper to find on the aftermarket, and at one point I thought I'd be fine with that; but I later realised I'm not overly fond of the design. Aside from the game it's associated with it takes the proportions in a direction I'm not too fond of - the Prime version just feels stronger and beefier and like it means business - and most criminally of all the shoulders aren't spiky! The scoundrels! The Prime version also got a re-issue last year and is currently in-stock on BBTS so that absolutely sealed the deal. Only downside is that the Other M version has a blast effect part which I would have liked, but it's no big deal at the end of the day.

Yeah, one is based off her appearance in Prime 3, which is one Kurona has, and the other is based off Samus' appearance in Other M.

Both of them are really well done figures and are a must have for any Metroid fan.

I've got little knowledge on Metroid, so my languages on Samus suits are just "Ohh, Blue Samus, Orange Samus, slightly more Orange Samus, Evil Samus!"

Eh, I'm kidna iffy on it, on account of the random translucent and overly-sprayed blue sections: abs, part of the arm, the knee. Idk if it's supposed to be like it's partially cloaking or what, but when it's out of the package I think I kinda don't like it. But I bought it anyway.

I've never played Force Unleashed, so I have no idea how accurate the figure is to the actual design, I just know I'm a sucker for dull colors and translucent plastic, lol.

I like translucent plastic with robots, like Gundams or Transformers. I haven't bought any of those in ages though.

I hope they someday do a Republic Commando with a translucent visor

They're doing the complete team from the upcoming Bad Batch series, so I'm hoping they will eventually do the entire Omega Squad from the Republic Commando game.
