Does anybody know the source of these leaks?

I sort of have a pet peeve for when people go "these leaks are from a reliable source" but then don't say who, even if they seem 100% legit people not listing sources for things just tends to bother me (I know some leakers are low profile, but at least link to smth, or give me a username, or example of smth they leaked before)

I'd like to make an informed decision on the legitimacy if any leaks I see, so if anyone knows the original source for this stuff and what makes it so reliable please let me know

The video posted before that this is from talks about Matt Hunt a few times, and while I know he's reliable I wasn't clear on if this info was actually from him or not?

Don Onitaijin, does this confirm the rumored OniSister?

I'm assuming the DonBlaster is the changer, since nothing else realy sounds like the changer?

It would also line up with the rumours if we have a blaster changer, I think one leak did also mention a sword but I honestly don't remember lol, at the very least it would linenupnwith a samurai theme

It's rumored to be Momotaro themed.

Well if Power Rangers Turbo is anything to go by we could see a Ranger change close to mid point. Stitch Witchery was the first with TJ's team so they may try the same thing here.

I just noticed that the Title is Avataro Sentai Donbrothers has a combination of "Avatar" and "Taro" as the first word. As in that they are the Avatars for those characters from the series.
Meanwhile, I am a Transformers Fan, so any leaks that I see I take as real, or at least I consider them as a possibility. Considering Apollux and Jtprime17 were at least somewhat truthful, I am just thinking about the leaks as having the possibility to be true. Think about how the Leaks of Revice were later discovered to be true, like how there would be the Two-in-one Rider Forms with one with a Belt, the other with a buckle. Or that the Gimmicks were stamp-based.

Um, why?

If DonBrothers really is connected to Zenkaiger, my only worry is that they'll compromise Zenkaiger's ending by trying to set up DonBrorhers too much

Like it would make me very upset if the new Red gets to do the final blow to the antagonist at the end or anything like that, if they basically serve as another 6th Ranger then maybe it'll be okay, but I just don't want then to suddenly be the focus of the show that would feel really upsetting

It's sort of a hard worry to explain, but I just don't want the end of Zenkaiger to alson serve as the start of DonBrothers, since I feel like that would hurt Zenkaiger a bit

I'm also curious if Junko Komura is going to write DonBrothers as well to add to that "feeling of connection" or whatever that toei wants? I kind of doubt it since writing 2 year-long weekly shows in a row sounds like a total nightmare, but at the same time she also head-wrote 3 sentai in like five years so she's clearly willing to write a lot lol

I'd be very happy if she stayed on to head write, but I do feel like a different writer is more likely (if Zenkaiser and Juran stay around tho then hopefully she'll still have some input)

What does Turbo have to do with it?

Suppose Zenkaiser is back for the show it would be interesting if they pulled a Solbrain and made Kaito the Ryoma of the show as a new tsuika. Or Zox or Flint is fine too.

Also, the "Oni Taiji" in "Don Oni Tajin" literally means "Defeat the Demon", (source) which makes me question there being a demon themed Ranger on the team like the alleged "OniSister", if the team is also destroying demons

Which tbf out of most of these rumours "OniSister" is one of the ones with the least backing behind it, so far all of the presumed real/reliable leaks only talk about Red, plus at least one claim that the black Ranger is CGI

Until we see more, I feel like any specifics about the team outside of those two claims (Red and Black) are better to take as speculation that's gotten out of hand

There more then one leak that brings up OniSister.

Almost all of that info comes from Matt Hunt (aka Dukemon on Rangerboard). He scours the Japanese message boards and relays what he's heard, sometimes from reliable sources and sometimes not. The guy is a wild prima donna who has an extremely inflated ego, but he's good at doing the legwork no one else is willing to do.

I saw Matt Hunt re-affirmirming a few rumours yesterday but still wasn't sure if he was the original source, helps a lot to know

I wonder what the Sentai Gears could become. Maybe they could be used with the Motorcycle that the Changer becomes to become a Mecha. Or maybe their powers would be based upon the monsters of the series instead of the Riders.

Also, because there are 5 New Rangers, I wonder whether they will have their own Mecha.
But, I also have some fears. Like, why would Juran be the only Kikainoid Zenkaiger to follow Zenkaizer into the new series? Considering the Magical Powers of these new Donbrothers, I'd think Magine would want to join them. Why would she not join?
Also, I think that the Red Momotaros-based Donbrothers Member would appear in the final episode and assist Zenkaizer in the final battle. That's when there would be the first introduction of this new Red "Ranger" and, possibly, the introduction of the new Robo combination of the Bike Mecha and Juran.

If this happens Imma call her super sentai Nezuko. :lolol

He's an invaluable resource 90% of the time, but as the pre-release hype cycle plays out he inevitably adopts this attitude that because he aggregates all the info, his opinions and speculations hold more weight. That's when the line between the solid rumors and what he wants to happen starts to blur... so while you can generally trust what he says, you should approach the info with a hearty amount of skepticism.

Yes, it sure is if the rumors are true. I do wonder if they will follow the Zenkaiger format with 1 human ranger and 4 non-humans, or if it's strictly motifs and we will get 5 people.

Too long. It's been too long. Like I said in the Zenkaiger thread, I'm very excited to see these colors again!

Apparently, Momobrother and Onisister are humans, while the others are CGI animals. Kind of like if the Goldtwoikar family had an extra SD robo.

Looks like a Kiramager with a top knot. I'm wondering if he'll have Oni face paint on his mask, given how I'm assuming they're going to continue with the more "out there" Sentai looks.

For those still unsure of the Momotaro motif here's a random trivia for ya. Donbrothers seems to be a portmanteau of donburako(どんぶらこ) and brothers. Keep in mind that the word brother sometimes is also used to describe siblings as well in Japan i.e. a group if siblings would be considered as brothers. As for donburako, it is a Japanese word that roughly describes a state where a weighty object that floats on water. Momotaro within the lore was born from a giant peach that floated down a stream while an old couple discovered it Kal-El style. So with this in mind the Momotaro stuff I think could be possible.

-DonMomotaro will actually use the GearTlinger to transform until March. After March, he uses the DonBlaster which has two muzzles that rotate in firing. It can read Sentai Gears, Avataro Gears and AvataroGear Alters. It seems to resemble that EnyaRideon and GearTlinger and that's why it looked like another mode of it. The DonBlaster is everyone's henshin item, and there does seem to be an "Avatar" element to the transformations. The new gears don't seem to have back images to them.

-AvataroGears are the DonBrothers henshin gears, but will also feature the legendary red rangers.

-AvataroGear Alter is a power up item. It transforms DonMomotaro into DonMomotaro Alter, a CGI robot. The Legendary Avataro Gear Alters can summon mecha and allow the team to combine with those mecha. The ToQGer Gear Alter summons the Ichigo Ressha; the Zyuohger Gear Alter summons a Eagle/Shark/Lion type box.

-SaruBrother is a Gorilla. Physical suit. OniSister uses a spiked club weapon, and has a skirt. InuBrother is a "3 heads tall" cartoon dog that fights with a shuriken. CGI character. KijiBrother looks like Slenderman, with wings that grow out. CGI character.

-The ZanglassSword is DonMomotaro's personal weapon. Using an infared data communication with the DonBlaster, it can perform finishing moves

-Outside of the Alters, there doesn't seem to be a new robot until June. The Alters resemble Akibaranger's ItassherRobo. Don Onitaijin seems to be a super gattai of some kind. The Alters seem to not be of the DX line, but of the Change Heroes line! It seems there are no "giant robot battles" in DonBrothers. Instead, the Alters shift the battle into another dimensional space.

-ZenKaizer is in the show until at least June. He becomes "ZenKaizer Black". He will get a new Change Heroes figure.

-The logo looks like a Level 5 Video Game title

Oh, now I know what the second "New Hero" gear was for. For Don Momotaro.

Huh. I mean Super Sentai, at least the modern iterations I'm familiar with, never could compare with the likes of Ultraman when it comes to miniature work and effects, but potentially losing out on that factor entirely feels strange.

Could be for the better though, depends on how good the "dimensional Space" battles are.

Well that sucks. Zenkaizer is Zenkaizer, he shouldn't be rebranded and get an assorted color. But hey, gotta sell them toys.

So Momobrother's name isn't actually Momobrother, but rather Don Momotarou.

Chillax! I'm pretty sure Zenkaizer's default form is still going to be the classic Zenkaizer White. This Zenkaizer Black will probably be a form change like Super Zenkaizer, to promote Donbrothers. Besides, the 10s hardly had any Black Rangers. It's only fair that the 20s compensate for that!

So, basically, DonMomotaro uses a Geartlinger during his appearances in Zenkaiger and gets his own transformation device once DonBrothers starts. Cause DonBrothers won't start till March...

Interesting rumours

I'm gonna state a potentially controversial opinion lol, I'm not a huge fan of the mech fights in a lot of sentai shows (like 8/10 times I find it hard to get intol honestly, so I'd excited to see a show try smth else

I'm sort of assuming the dimensional space fights they're talking about would be all (or largely) CGI, which I'm a bit iffy on the idea of, but hey still might be fun, I'm interested to see change

I agree myself; I've found it to be the weakest part of many Sentai shows -- essentially just extending the fight scene past its end but with duller choreography. There's definitely been some shows that have made it interesting - Go-Busters is the king of this, and I have adored literally everything that Zenkaiger has been doing with them - and it's easy to see why it was a draw in the late 70s and 80s, but it's always felt like something most Sentai shows in the modern day could easily shelve without changing basically anything.

... though this doesn't really seem to change that? From what I'm reading it's basically the exact same format as mech fights, just exchanging using a big robot in a city to using a cgi robot in space. So I'm really not sure if I should be excited for that part
