Why? Power Rangers has a different story from that of Super Sentai, and the comics show that going down a less Sentai-focused route can lead to good results. It makes sense that they might want to try new things with the series and see what it can actually become.

I hate this. I'd much rather see the slower, clunkier fights with actual suits over flashier CGI fights. The suitwork is basically why I got into tokusatsu in the first place.

But I understand that I don't speak for everybody, especially not their actual target audience, so it is what it is.

Not to mention, it's not like the franchise's previous owners haven't tried this approach before. Mystic Knights Of Tir Na Nog, The Rescue Mission from Lost Galaxy, the Spirit Rangers in Jungle Fury, Dimensions In Danger, it can be done.

I just don't understand why both ideas can't exist side-by-side in the eyes of alot of the fandom given that Power Rangers has almost always been about a mix of old and new, and swinging 100% in either direction loses alot of what makes the franchise what it is.

Honestly, my only issue with Cosmic Fury so far is the 10 episode limit. Unless there's a second season waiting in the wings, the Kyuranger mecha footage is gonna feel awfully cramped or rushed. And that's not even accounting for toy sales, since we don't even have pictures of what the Cosmic Fury Megazord will look like.

Even Alien Rangers struggled with adapting the Sentai fight scene footage, and most of its' Mecha footage had been used up in Season 3.

My biggest hope is that the season ends with the introduction of the next team, and that team using the Kyuranger suits. I feel like that'd be the best way to appease those who wanted a more traditional adaptation. And would still allow for domestic toys to be made of that season's' suits and mecha.

If Amelia is the new Red Ranger who the heck is

This will be the first year without a pink since 2008, on either side of the ocean.

Just realised something; if you sidelined Zayto as the group's Sixth Ranger and made Aiyon the Yellow Ranger, you could get away with adding an Armour gimmick using the Zords. That way, each member of the core team would get two colours instead of just one.

Netflix is 15 bucks a month so that might be a deciding
factor. The 2nd factor would be if any of the shows I

Having seen the team in the new outfits it'll take some getting used to.

The Spirit Ranger morphed outfits were cool in 2008.

I still hope we get the Kyu outfits. They could redesign the helmets
for safety reasons.

It is true that there is an Orange Ranger. We saw the artwork for it in a picture. But it's theme is unknown.

Given Illuminerdi has been wrong in almost all of its "insider leaks" I'd take anything they say with a huge grain of salt.

Huh, you know if we really are getting our first big orange ranger via Cosmic Fury. With those designs?

Disappointing tbh.

Especially when Sentai's been doing very nice Orange designs for a while now. So to get something like that via an original ranger in which the blueprint is lackluster suit design? Honestly a shame.

The newer pic of some of the suits only reinforce that they're way too bland-looking...

...That said, I really like their weapons.

The weapons are pretty cool. Not sure about Gold's but Red getting a hammer is pretty cool!

So far, their weapons are the best thing coming out of Cosmic Fury.

It kinda makes me wish they didn't give them new costumes.

I swear it's like the writers consulted a Monkey's Paw for what they'd like to see in a PR-exclusive season.

Fern is the new Orange Ranger.

This is a first for the USA. Toei's first happened with Battle Fever J way back in their 3rd series. They also had To Quger 6 and
Stinger in Kyu Ranger but we haven't seen one since.

Now it looks like Hasbro wants to try out Orange. With 10 episodes
hopefully Fern won't be a one and gone Ranger like Tyler's
dad in Dino Fury.

There was also Deka Swan, Zyuoh Bird and Sonoza.

UNOFFICIALLY (since it was in a dream sequence), although it eventually DID end up in the Super Legends DS game, SPD TECHNICALLY beat Cosmic Fury to the punch with Boom as an Orange Ranger
