If you mean rumors, apparently the current prevailing one is that Zeztz is a Green Tiger with a Zodiac theme, or how recently there was a claim that it was dream themed and the main Rider had a "VR Headset" with an LED function similar to Yabai Kamen.

Of course, I'm choosing to remain skeptical as always and will wait until something concrete lands, since you never know.

Speaking of rumors, if they ever decide to go Hibiki with the show, as in experiment, I'd love to see them run with "the henshin belt this time is a sling bag" idea that was brought up earlier. If not standard henshin belt is fine, no complaints about that.

I don't hate it but would personally be happy to try sumn new. The dream theme with VR headset sounds fire tho. Like you're inside a dreamy VR world. Kinda like Ryuki with the Mirrorworld.

Not technically news, but to recap some of the info dropped by the leaker (Color in this case):

Zeztz seems to have a green/black/silver color scheme (both said to be tech-y but also very reminiscent of Ichigo's colors).
Seems to have a Tiger theme. Apparently his design seems reminiscent of Incineroar.
Supposedly his bike also resembles the original Cyclone.
Zeztz also seems to have a strong high-tech theme.
I believe that one of the hints was that "if Gavv is soft, Zeztz is hard" (I assume that this means instead of Gavv's "softer" gummy armor, Zeztz will have a "harder" look for his suit).

Belt seems to be based on a fanny pack, and I believe that the location of the belt changes with different forms.
Gimmick seems to be small orbs that contain pixelated animals (not sure if these will be 3D like the Gaoranger Jewels, or 2d Images of Animals).
Also, the sounds will come from the belt (like Gotchard and Gavv) and will light/illuminate the orb/image of the animal
Not sure if this means that we will be getting some sort of pin system or scan system (most likely scanning considering the gimmick, but that's just conjecture on my part).


It also looks like we most likely get more info in July, as July 1st is when Gavv was officially revealed, and the Toy Meeting will take place during July as well (meaning we should hopefully get DX listing then)

Speaking of Toy listings, there is one for 300 Yen for a Gimmick Item for Zeztz in July. Considering the fact that Gavv got Punching Gummy released for his debut in Gotchard's film, this is most likely the same case for Zeztz.

Intriguing. I like the "if Gavv is soft, Zeztz is hard" theme. Maybe it's referencing Gavv;s lighthearted snacks, gummies theme which is kinda kid-ish. So we should expect a more adult-y theme? For Zeztz?

I'm still nervous on what direction Zeztz will be like. And what themes it'll go with. What will such a rider season have vibes of?

EDIT: On a closer look, the helmets do look slightly different and the one in the larger picture looks asymmetrical, but not in a purposeful way.

Pretty sure. Like, take a closer look to the left eye, since that's the only side in that obscured headshot.

Aside from the eye being a different shape with the red circles, but the blue areas I circled, the brow has this weird connecting bit to the bridge of the helmet's nose, while it's not there in the obscured headshot. Something like that would not just disappear from a different angle.

It's definitely fake. The design itself is based on art someone created based on the rumors, to which the leaker replied that "if you look at the original and (this) artwork, you can definitely tell it is fake"

There actually is a tiny bit of news actually.

The leaker has drawn a very rough sketch up of an aspect of the belt/driver: that the belt electronics partially extend into the strap (I imagine something like the Vision Driver) that enables the belt/strap to light up.

Something I forgot about that I have seen circulating is that Zeztz helmet design resembles something along the lines of Revice Neo-Batta Genome's helmet and a color resembling Kamen Rider NEXT Ichigo. That being said, the leaker did not say that Zeztz main form/design is grasshopper-based.

There has been additionally a photo of a set that had a suit that resembled the description (the suit actor was not wearing a helmet though). I am not sure if the leaker confirmed or denied that said photo was the actual suit for Zeztz

Didn't post earlier because while I saw it circulating around, I am not sure of it's authenticity. Admittedly, it does not look like any currently existing suit and it does have the orange strap (which I am pretty sure was not discussed by the leaker previously).

Only time will tell. We did get an on-set shot of Gavv's filming pretty early on, so it is entirely possible this is an actually shot on-set.

Also, one bit of interesting clarification (which could always change), is that despite the leaker stating that the head design resembles Incineroar and that the gimmicks contain animals (or monsters, hard to tell atm), there has not been a real clarification of the suit motif or theme.

In other words, Zeztz theme is still a bit unknown due to the vague description at this current time.

Pretty much the only real details are:

Has a pretty strong tech-emphasized design (not sure if that means suit, or also the theme)
Has a bit of retro theming given that the bike resembles the Cyclone, and that Zeztz is green.
Gimmicks may either be orbs or Gashapon capsules that contain either digital animals or digital monsters.

Okay, so a lot of Zeztz news that the leaker just dropped:

Main color scheme is actually green, red, and black, in homage to Ichigo.

One big change: Apparently internally Zeztz was referred to as a "Metal Rider" but the overall look has a very biological appearance.


Main plot seems to be set in a dream? It's unclear if dreams are part of the setting or perhaps the story itself takes place in a dream. (Leaker mentioned Paprika and Inception as examples)

Form changes are "simple" and the look of Zeztz is really simple, with muscular detailing instead of armor. Zeztz legs look Grasshopper-like and his boots look like sneakers. Mentioned that Zeztz has a very "Sports" oriented look (not that sports is a part of the theme). The face looks a little like Kamen Rider Century.

The Belt (really just the shoulder strap) makes Zeztz look like he has an Ultraman color timer. It may have pure English phrases like Zero-One

The Rider Machine can turn into a robot like AutoVajin and has the Cyclone's colors.


Now for the kicker: The leaker dropped hints that the writer might be Yuya Takeshi (and the producer is possibly Yousuke Minato)

I really hope Takeshi isn't the writer. While I have enjoyed some aspects of his stories, he has been writing Toku for about five years non-stop (he wrote the Presidents special, Zero-One V-Cinema's, and has been the main writer for Outsiders).

Would be nice to either see a new writer or someone who we haven't had write a Toku show for a while, but I guess we will have to wait and see.

Not sure how I feel about the changes. I was really on-board for a Cyber-Tiger Rider that got leaked at first, yet another Grasshopper rider with a minimal silhouette/simple form changes doesn't sound even remotely as interesting imo.

EDIT: The leaker also has stated that helmet design looks like a fusion of Revice and Century's helmets. Almost like the Vision Driver Riders. Not sure if this is actually provided by the leaker, but the below is a supposed sketch of the head design:

It sounds very "back to basics", but I don't think it's necessarily bad or boring. W followed the same approach with a redesigned Showa style design, and the result was one of the best shows in the franchise. So we'll see what happens with Zeztz.
P.S. I was ready for an insect, but I didn't want a grasshopper either. As a last resort, they could have used a praying mantis or a cricket.

It's by no means, bad, but just a little tiring after Gotchard was very "back-to-basics" being primarily grasshopper theme for the base form, and Legend obviously caused the show to steer towards an anniversary theme a fair bit, which was only a bit frustrating due to the fact that Revice was entirely anniversary themed, which only felt a bit strange as Zero-One was very "back-to-basics" and so on.

I might be nitpicky, but I genuinely miss the wildly varying themes over years for hesei. Especially Wizard->Gaim->Drive->Ghost->Ex-Aid->Build were all so starkly different that getting three Grasshopper Riders in the same timespan just feels a little overcrowded in the "return-to-form" department.

I actually wouldn't mind too much if the theme was something like, Film Genre's with a brand new writer, but it's looking like we are getting a combo of Takeshi and the director from KingOhger, so it's not looking like we are going to get any exciting new ideas any time soon.

Granted, I could be eating my words in the future, and I genuinely hope to be proven wrong. Gavv was a lot more exciting as a concept and even the execution, so we will have to see what Zeztz has in store.

The fact that the Reiwa era was so close to the 50th anniversary of Kamen Rider, whose celebration was also delayed by 3 years due to Covid, simply played a role here. Plus, I have a theory that Gotchard with Legend and the theme of the three was a 50th anniversary concept rejected in favor of Revice. In any case, I'm sure that the strange riders will return. It just looks like someone in Toei really wants to increase the percentage of grasshoppers among the main riders.
