If by some moron you mean "most people who've bought seen this set and know what they're talking about when it comes to BD picture quality/restoration", sure. This isn't an isolated case of someone complaining, I'm not even that into Sailor Moon and have seen the amount of complaints this set is getting.

These BDs are nowhere near "the best the show will ever look". If you're happy with them then all power to you, but its an undisputed fact that they suffer from pretty massive flaws.

But the old DVDs look better to me in the comparisons.

You mean the old DVDs that were full of grain, faded out, and had audio that sounded like it was coming from a trash can?

Speaking of which, my set came in today and it is gorgeous. The booklet is amazing with excellent pieces of artwork, a synopsis and image from every episode, the entire English cast list, the songs in English, Kanji, and Romanji.

was on facebook and people where literally complaining to viz media on there telling them that French and German dvd was not suffering from ghosting and they where using the same 2009 masters that viz media where using but they keep on telling people that the master they where given where from toei animation and they can't do nothing but the other like mentioned before said the French and German and even the japanese dvd don't suffer from ghosting.

2009 masters? ADV's DVDs came out in 2003.

I have no idea what ghosting is though.

Did you look at the images in my post? They're after images that weren't present on the previous DVDs.

I mean the 2009 japanese master that every where else was using for the realses.

Yea that what is that really puts me off watching stuff when there after images on frames after them.
