If you mean the blue and yellow parts that encroach on the red and blue sections, respectively; I think those are moulded on (you can see the yellow kneepads on the shark's animal mode.)

Okay, I don't like the mech design...like at all. It looks good as a toy, but I don't really want to see that thing stomping around a city battling giant monsters.

I LOVE the suit designs though. I've been waiting for a simple design for a long time, and this is it. I definitely need to do a cosplay of these suits. Just gotta make the helmet, cut up a morph suit, and draw the design on it. Yes.

Interesting. The suits kinda make me think of those weird t-shirts where the entire front is the face of an animal. The mecha is rather... uninspirring... but looks like it'll be pretty easy to build in Minecraft, lol...

Well, it is probably easier to make the suit because Toei can just paint over some cardboard boxes instead of having to specially shape anything. That's kinda utilitarian. :p
