I've just seen just enough to know that I don't like it, OOOs, or that retarded happy birthday guy. I find them all insufferable. If (and that's a BIG if) I ever watch OOO, I'll be watching for Dante (or was it spelled Date?).


PS And Let's Go was possibly the biggest trainwreck of all Rider movies if only because it had a literal train wreck in it. Plus, it makes no damn sense.

I have never understood the love for Eternal or the A to Z film. It's a pretty boring movie overall aside from getting to see Shotarou go solo as Joker. And Eternal's personality is about as deep as a kiddie pool. And Let's Go was a DAMN awesome movie. Flying motorcycles and all.

You really don't, though. Not only is the movie absolutely terrible and possibly one of the worst pieces of Rider media ever, it has absolutely no bearing on the show whatsoever. Conventional wisdom is that it was written very, very early on in OOO's production run by people with no connection to the series. Everybody is wildly out of character, the plot is really dull, and the action isn't good enough to bother sitting through it for. Just skip it. If not you're just going to come in here and tell us we were all right. :p

The W & Skull portions are still brilliant.

Let's go was a bit weird, riders appearing for no reason and doesn't talk

But the way that movie worked OOO took place in the same universe as (at least) the Showa Riders and Den-O kind of. So it made sense for all of them to show up and as we've come to know with Hesei riders they can kind of appear in any team up thanks to Decades world portals. Honestly when there's a train of time and Decade involved I don't worry or care about the specifics of how characters get places. Like why Inazuman, Zubat, and the Kikaiders are there :lol

They couldn't possibly get the actors back for all of those guys either so them not talking isn't surprising honestly. It's a solid film with a fun story that sums up what the 40th anniversary of Kamen Rider was all about. It accomplished everything it should have, was fun, and very enjoyable. And it had tons of nods for fans of old and new alike (like the aforementioned appearences by other Ishinimori characters).

Hey guys! So, I watched the first 3 episodes of Blade..they could be better. In fact allot of things about Blade could be better, from the fight choreography to the dialogue. And so far Blade himself has been absolutely worthless in every fight he's in, save for the final second or two were he just kills the undead in a single move. I hear this show gets really good later, but man, I hope later comes soon.

Don't worry. I literally felt the exact way you are when I watched it. It definitely improves.

Blade is still one of the more cleaner Rider designs.

So I've gathered, but I would feel weird if I went and skipped it altogether. I've very completist about series I watch :lol

Yeah, that's one of the things I really hate about the All-Rider movies. Vangelus called them something like "Ghost Riders" on the HJU podcast. They're basically empty suits that are devoid of any real trace of the original Rider's personality. Sure, some of the moves are there and Faiz usually does his wrist flick thing, but they don't talk and they don't really interact, they just fight silently. It really makes it hard to believe that they're actually the real characters and not just empty suits.

Just got up to the first appearance of Doctor Maki.

My first impression is that I can now understand why Switchblade (at least I think it was Switchblade :lol) can't seem him as a credible threat. The doll thing is a little....ridiculous.

That being said, I am eager to know more about him now.

I finished OOO, and loved it. But ran out of ideas for what to watch next. Hibiki did nothing for me, Ryuki was just odd. And Kabuto was good.. but confusing. I think I'll try Kabuto Ep 2, or rewatch Decade.

Why not watch Kuuga and Agito, they're the best Heisei series imo.

After watching episode 12 of OOO, its safe to say I will be buying that SIC of SaGoZo when its released. Design-wise its always been my favourite OOO combo and onscreen its first appearance didn't disappoint me.

That's me, yeah. Maki is conceptually pretty cool, but I can never take a villain seriously if all you have to do to defeat him is steal his dolly (and it really hurts the heroes' credibility that they never fucking thought of that - seriously, Eiji, you have a fire-based form; burn the doll and then let Doctor Maki have one of his crazy seizures until he inevitably bites off his own tongue and bleeds to death - this ain't rocket science).

So, watched the first 2 episodes of 555 and Blade to decide which to watch first. Faiz ended up winning. Partly because Blade's video quality was awful, some of the worst I've encounter.

DiEnd should despair, he'll never be as epic as Decade.
