I want to be interested in Agent Carter... but interrupting S.H.I.L.D. like that for her show? Ugh, don't think that was smart...

Well its not interrupting Shield. Shield is in its mid season break so there would be no new shield episodes either way. With Agent Carter we now get more Shield action than we would have without the show. And I bet you that the Carter show will deal with alot of the things we saw in Shield this past season.

Ignoring my disdain for mid-season breaks.... Aren't they usually only for like a month? And S.H.I.E.L.D. won't be back for over three because Carter will be airing? That's "interrupting" to me.

Oh, and regarding Marvel/Sony... The thing I find interesting is the bit that Sony supposedly pitched the idea of new Spider-Man produced by Marvel but distributed by Sony. And that fell through. That would seemingly be due to Marvel not agreeing So I'm taking from that that they're being stubborn and want all or nothing... So it's not really one-sided blame.

It wasnt that different with the first season though. We got two episodes at the beginning of january and only one episode at the beginning of february. So its not really that we are missing out on anything by just moving those three episodes back a bit to flesh out the back story of the inhuman artifacts and the kree through agent carter.

Ayup. Of course, Agent Carter has the twofer bonus of 40s period drama and Hayley Atwell. It will make a nice change for a few weeks.

I dont mind looking at Hayley Atwell for a few weeks instead of Clark Gregg.

He pitched the idea of the trilogy to the sony execs and they didnt want to do it.

I´m not surprised that sony is pretty much out of options for the franchise. They rebooted it once already and audiences are not liking it as much as they hoped.

Maybe I should make an audition tape.

It's a shame. I liked where it was going. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is my favorite of the Spider-Man films.

I liked the first one quite a bit and enjoyed the second one but I just couldnt stand how they shoehorned the goblin in at the end and that it felt there were trying more to set up sinister six than to tell a good third act.

Honestly, a third film might be what's needed to save the franchise.

Unless, of course, option number two is rebooting it with me as Spider-Man.

It had heart, and good ideas, but far, far too much stuff.
I'd be on board for a third part, but no clue how possible it is at this point.

All New Invaders is awesome because of how the old timey marvel team is reunited in the modern age. New Warriors was fun too.

And the movie looked downright fantastic. TASM2 managed to make spidey swing through the city look just like I always imagined it while reading the comics as a Kid/Teen/Adult.
